Th s un t has been des gned and manufactured to the h ghest of standards so you can be assured you have
made a good nvestment.
For your safety and to ensure you make full use of all the features, please make sure you read th s manual n full.
Product Descr pt on:
A powerful act ve speaker w th a bu lt n 800-Watt RMS class D l ghtwe ght ampl f er. A s mple m xer sect on
makes th s speaker easy to use. The user can connect to any su table m xer or s m lar dev ce v a an XLR or ¼”
jack cable or connect a m crophone stra ght n. There are two m xer channels these are on XLR/¼” jack comb
sockets. There s also a XLR l nk output, th s can e ther send a m x of channel 1 and 2 or just channel 2. Any
Bluetooth enabled dev ce can be pa red w th th s speaker, mak ng a totally w reless connect on. The easy to
use DSP pre-sets help adjust the sound to su t d fferent appl cat ons. Custom loudspeaker dr vers have been
used, g v ng perfect playback for mus c and l ve vocals.

• Check th s un t matches the ma ns voltage and frequency before plugg ng t n to your ma ns socket.
• Should you exper ence any malfunct on or damage to the ma ns cable, d sconnect from the ma ns supply
mmed ately and consult a qual f ed eng neer or replace the cable w th a new one.
• All parts should be replaced w th genu ne spare parts and repa rs carr ed out by a qual f ed eng neer.
• Do not place near sources of heat or gn t on.
• Check your AC wall socket w ll take the power you are apply ng to avo d overload ng the ma ns supply.
• No naked flame .e. candle should be placed on top of th s appl ance
Protect on from Electr c Shock:
• Only connect th s un t to a ma ns socket w th su table tr p and RCD protect on.
• To d sconnect from the ma ns socket, always remove by the ma ns plug or IEC connector. Do not attempt to
remove by pull ng the ma ns cable.
• D sconnect the un t from the ma ns supply before clean ng. Clean ng should be carr ed out w th a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not expose th s un t to any l qu ds.
• Do not operate near exposed water or n h gh hum d ty.

• Choose a su table route for ma ns cables and aud o cables, ensur ng tr p hazards are avo ded and any cables
are not at r sk of be ng crushed.
• Do not open th s un t to serv ce. There are no user serv ceable parts ns de. Any serv c ng or repa rs should
be carr ed out by a qual f ed eng neer only. Any attempt to serv ce or adapt th s un t w ll leave your
warranty vo d and could result n ser ous malfunct on or njury.
• When the power sw tch s off, th s un t s not completely d sconnected from the ma ns.

Funct ons Back Panel
1 Bluetooth Pa r ng:
• Press and hold the pa r button unt l status LED flashes fast and a
beep can be heard from the speaker.
• Look on your Bluetooth dev ce for the name BP1712A16 or
BP1715A16, then connect to the one of these that s l sted.
• Once pa red the status LED w ll stay on and the speaker w ll beep
• Hold the pa r button down to unpa r, the speaker w ll beep and
the status LED does not l ght up.
• When pa red and aud o s play ng the status LED w ll flash slowly.
• Bluetooth w ll work up to about 10 metres away. Th s can vary
due to cond t ons and brands of Bluetooth dev ces.
• Volume s controlled v a the connected dev ce.
2 DSP Mode:
• Press the button to move through the 4 DSP pre-sets
Flat: The frequency response s unchanged, so whatever s nput to
the speaker, s then reproduced from the speaker dr vers.
Contour: Has two funct ons, t w ll sl ghtly ncrease the bass and
h gh frequencys when the levels are low and w ll also reduce some
frequencys that are too h gh, when mus c s played loudly.
Speech: Th s mode boosts the frequencys assoc ated w th speech
wh lst reduc ng the frequenc es that are not.
EST LF: Use th s mode f th s speaker s connected to an act ve
subwoofer. In th s mode the low frequenc es up to 100HZ are cut
from th s speaker.
3 Power LED: Th s l ghts when there s power to the cab net and
the speaker s turned on.
4 S gnal LED: Th s l ghts when a s gnal s detected on nputs 1 & 2.
5 L m ter LED: Th s l ghts up f d stort on s detected. It s best to
reduce your volumes f th s LED stays llum nated.
6 Volume 1: Controls the nput level of nput socket one.
7 Volume 2: Controls the nput level of nput socket two.
8 MIC/LINE Sw tch: Use the MIC sw tch, pressed, when a
m crophone s connected. Use the LINE depressed when
connected to a m xer or l ne level source.
9 M crophone or l ne level nputs: Accepts e ther an XLR or a ¼
nch jack. The nput can rece ve balanced or unbalanced s gnals.
10 IN2/MIX Sw tch: When pressed “MIX” s selected. The output
XLR w ll rece ve the m xed s gnal from nputs 1 and 2. When
released IN2 s selected, the output XLR rece ves a s gnal form
nput 2 only. Th s s useful for true stereo magery. A stereo s gnal s
connected, left to nput 1 and r ght to nput 2. Then the s gnal from
nput 2 can be sent to another speaker v a the XLR output.
11 XLR Output socket: A balanced s gnal can be sent from here to
connect to s m lar act ve speakers or act ve subwoofers.
12 ON/OFF Sw tch: Used to turn the act ve speaker on and off.
13 Ma ns Inlet: Used to connect power lead. IEC type, use the
correct th ckness cable and fuse.
14 Fuse Holder: Replace once w th the correct s ze. If the fuse
blows aga n consult where you purchased the act ve speaker from
or a qual f ed eng neer.

Input Connect ons
Always use a good qual ty screened cable. Make sure solder ng has been done correctly, bad solder jo nts can
cause damaged or nterm ttent faults to occur. Try to always use balanced connect on, f th s s not poss ble
try to keep unbalanced cables as short as poss ble. See the connector w r ng chart below when w r ng
connectors.
Power ng Up For The F rst T me
• Turn down all volumes.
• Sw tch on your aud o dev ces e tablet, CD player, tuner, PC.
• Sw tch on your m xer.
• Sw tch on any processors between m xer and act ve speaker.
• Sw tch on the act ve speaker.
• Turn up sl ghtly the aud o source volume, then m xer volume, them processor volume.
• Turn up the act ve speaker volume slowly.
• Make any adjustments to the volume sett ngs.
• Do the reverse of th s when power ng down.
It s best to turn the act ve speakers volumes up to max or almost max mum, when us ng a separate m xer, or
any dev ce w th volume controls. If connect ng dev ces stra ght to the act ve speaker, use the act ve speaker
volumes. Remember to try and avo d d stort on and do not over dr ve any of the equ pment. Always try and
keep m xer ga ns as low as poss ble and do not turn the nput ga n on a m xer down and then turn the ma n
master output to max mum to ach eve the correct levels, as you may also be ampl fy ng unwanted s gnal
no se.
