separateaudiocomponents.
Togetherwith our elegant, intuitive
wall-mountedkeypads,touchscreensand
handheldremotes,thePX-700allows
directaccessandcontrolofeightdifferent
audiosourcesinsixseparatezones.Each
zonecancontrolanyfiveseparate
sourcesviatheKPS101Keypad.Alleight
sourcesareaccessiblefromourtouch-
screenanddedicatedremotecontrols.
Alternatively,anysource maybededicated
orpartitioned for useina specific zone
inthehome.UptosixPX-700scanbe
connectedtoforma36-zonesystem.
ThePX-700 is programmed
exclusivelywith the PX-700 Installation
Manager,our proprietary Windows appli-
cation.A special feature of thesoft-
warepermits adjacent areas, or zones,to
be“linked” together so that theytrackthe
samesource while independent volume
controlis maintained in each area. With
thePX-700 Installation Manager, the
installercreates and maintains a compre-
hensiveIR library, which is thenusedto
controlall of the source componentsinan
installation.The PX-700Installation Manager
allowsthe installer to define any number
ofshort and long buttonpresses, which
canbe assigned tothekeypads, touch-
screensand handheld remotes. Because
ofthe open architecture of theprogram,
multiplehigh-capacity CD changers or
DSSreceivers can easily be used inasingle
installation.IR programming, source
assignments,turn-on source defaults,input
levelmatching, group assignments and
otherprogramming options may be con-
figuredprior to the installation oratthe job
site.Once completed, the project isdown-
loadedto the PX-700 via an RS-232input
onthe rear panel, or a convenientPCLink
jackon the front panel ofthecontroller.
