PRECAUTIONS
Please read these precautions before operating this player.
Power Cord Protection
To avoid any malfunctions of the player, and to protect against electric shock, fire or
personal injury, please observe the following.
• Hold the plug firmly when connecting or disconnecting the AC power cord.
• Do not connect or disconnect the AC power cord when your hands are wet.
• Keep the AC power cord away from heating appliances.
• Never put any heavy object on the AC power cord.
• Do not attempt to repair or reconstruct the AC power cord in any way.
• Remove dust, dirt, etc. on the plug at regular intervals.
Placement
Avoid placing the player in areas of:
• direct sunlight or heating radiators, or closed automobiles
• high temperature (over 35°C) or high humidity (over 90%)
• excessive dust
• vibration, impact or where the surface is tilted as the internal parts may be
seriously damaged.
Non-use periods
When left unused for a long period of time, the player should be unplugged from the
household AC outlet.
No fingers or other objects inside
• Touching internal parts of this player is dangerous, and may cause serious damage
to the player. Do not attempt to disassemble the player.
• Do not put any foreign object on the disc tray.
Keep away from water and magnetic object
• Keep the player away from flower vases, tubs, sinks, etc. If liquids are spilled into
the player, serious damage could occur.
• Keep magnetic objects such as speakers, at a distance from the player.

Stacking
• Place the player in a horizontal position, and do not place anything heavy on it.
• Do not place the player on amplifiers or other equipment which may become hot.
Condensation
moisture may form on the lens in the following conditions:
• immediately after a heater has been turned on.
• in a steamy or very humid room.
• when the player is moved from a cold environment to a warm one.
If moisture forms inside this player, it may not operate properly. In this case, turn off
the power and wait about one hour for the moisture to evaporate.
Caution:
• To avoid electric shock, this unit must not be exposed to dripping water or water splash.
• Minimum distances around the apparatus for sufficient ventilation.
• The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with
items, such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
• No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.
• The use of apparatus in tropical and/or moderate climates.
• Before scrapping the appliance, remove the batteries and place them in the
appropriate battery collection container.

FAMILIARIZE WITH THE DISPLAYED CONTENTS IN THE LCD
1. "PROG" shows during Programming and in programmed play.
2. "RANDOM" shows when in RANDOM playback.
3. "INTRO" shows when in INTRO playback.
4. "WMA" shows when the file played is in WMA format.
5. "MP3" shows when the disc played is an MP3-CD.
6. "CD" shows when the disc played is a CD-DA.
7. "REPT" shows when in various repeat modes.
8. "1" shows together with "REPT" when in single track repeat mode.
9. "DIR" shows together with "REPT" when in album repeat mode.

17. English Text display. The information of the current track is displayed scrolling
forward in MP3 playback.
POWER SUPPLY
BATTERY OPERATION
1. Remove the battery compartment cover gently.
2. Install 8 x 'C' size batteries (UM-2 or equivalent) while observing the correct
polarities. (not supplied)
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
NOTE:
• The AC cord must be detached from the AC socket of the player. (battery use)
• Leaking batteries may damage the battery cabinet and the player as a whole, so
they should be removed from the cabinet when becoming flat or when the player
is not to be played on batteries for some time.
AC OPERATION
Insert the AC cord to the AC socket of the player, and plug the other end to an
applicable wall outlet.
TO PLAY THE RADIO
1. Set the FUNCTION switch to the RADIO position, the POWER Indicator will light up.
2. Select the desired band with the BAND switch.
3. Tune to the desired station by rotating the TUNING control (rotate that control
back and forth until you get the strongest and clearest reception).
4. The built-in AM antenna and external FM TELESCOPICANTENNAare directional.
• When you are receiving an FM broadcast, fully extend the TELESCOPIC ANTENNA
and rotate it for the best reception.
• For AM broadcast, rotate the whole set until the best reception is heard.
5. Adjust the volume level to a comfortable listening level.
6. To turn off the radio, set the FUNCTION switch to the OFF, USB/CARD, CD/MP3/
AUX position.

NOTES:
• If a particular FM (STEREO) station is weak, or you hear too much background
noise, try moving the band selector switch to the FM (MONO) position. This can
often result in a much clearer reception.
• When the band selector switch is set to FM STEREO and a stereo broadcast is on
the air. The FM ST. indicator will light up.
STEREO PHONES JACK
A stereo phones jack has been provided on the side of the player so that you can
listen without disturbing others. To use this jack, plug in the headphones/ earphones
(NOT INCLUDED) and adjust the VOLUME control to a preferred level.
NOTE:
When external headphones/earphones are connected, the speakers will be muted.
HANDLING AND MAINTENANCE OF ADISC
Follow the instructions below to handle and maintain your disc in order that long
time and trouble free performance can possibly be obtained:
• Ensure not to caress the rain bow side of the disc; handle the disc by the edge.
• Long time exposure to sunshine, high temperatures and humidity will damage the
disc. And keep storage area clean.
• Avoid sticking labels on both sides of a disc. Writing with pointed articles on the
disc should be strictly avoided.
• Clean the disc wiping the centre and then working out to the edge with a dry &
soft cloth or a disc brush. Avoid any cleansing lotion or chemical eradicator.
• Store them in their cases when they are not to be used.

LOAD A DISC
1. Open the CD door by the Door open area.
2. Load a disc on the disc tray with the label side facing up.
3. Close the CD door.
PLAY A DISC
1. Slide the Function switch to CD/MP3/AUX position.
2. Follow the steps above to load a disc.
3. The player begins reading disc immediately the CD door is closed, "READING"
shows in the LCD.
4. When the disc is successfully read, TOC (total of contents) shows in the LCD and
playback follows with the first track.
5. Press Play/Pause button once to halt music playback, the elapsed time of the
current track flashes and "PAUSE" appears on the bottom of the LCD to indicate
the player in Pause mode; press Stop button to cease music playback. The LCD
shows the TOC again with "STOP" on the bottom.
SKIP TRACKS AND SEARCH FOR A SPECIFIC POINT TO PLAY
1. Press once the SKIP/SEARCH up button in music play to skip to the next track. To
skip to a specific track ahead, press this button several times.
2. Press once the SKIP/SEARCH down button in music play to skip to the previous
track. To skip to a specific track at back, press this button several times.
3. Press +10/ALBUM button once in play to skip to the track 10 tracks ahead, twice to skip
to the track 20 tracks ahead. You can reach the last track of the disc using this button.
4. Hold the SKIP/SEARCH up button in music play to search at quick rate for a specific
point to play.
5. Hold the SKIP/SEARCH down button in music play to search at quick rate for a
specific point to play.

REPEAT A SINGLE TRACK
To repeat a preferred track in playback, press MODE button once, "REPT 1" shows in
the LCD. Then select the preferred track using SKIP/SERCH buttons or +10/ALBUM
button. The player will repeat the chosen track until you press STOP button.
REPEAT ALL TRACKS
To repeat all tracks, press MODE button twice in play mode, "REPT ALL" shows in the
LCD. The player will repeat all tracks until you press STOP button.
RANDOM PLAY
Random play is that tracks on the disc are played by the player at random. Press
MODE button three times to enter this mode during play, "RANDOM" shows in the
LCD. Tracks on the disc will be selected at random for playback and the player stops
automatically after all tracks are played. You may press STOP button to exit random
play mode and press PLAY/PAUSE button to resume normal playback.
INTRODUCTION PLAY
Introduction play is that the first ten seconds of each track are played in a sequential
order. Press MODE button four times to enter this mode during play, "INTRO" shows
in the LCD. Press MODE button to exit Introduction play mode and normal music play
resumes. Press SKIP/SEARCH up button in Introduction mode to begin Introduction
play from the next track immediately after the current track. Press SKIP/SEARCH down
button in Introduction mode to begin Introduction play from the current track.
PROGRAMMED PLAY
• Programmed play is that tracks on the disc can be edited for playback in a
preferred order with the use of PROGRAM button.
• In CD stop mode, press PROGRAM/EQ button once, "PROG" shows in the LCD with a
flickering track number and the program sequence indication "P-01", select the first
track to be programmed using SKIP/SEARCH buttons or +10/ALBUM button, and
press PROGRAM button again to store and advance to the next programming step.
The program sequence indication changes to "P-02" waiting for your next input.
• Repeat the steps above to program more tracks. A maximum of 20 tracks can be
programmed in memory in a preferred order.
• Press PLAY/PAUSE button to begin programmed play in the preferred order
after you are done with programming. The player stops automatically after all
programmed tracks are played.
• You may press STOP button to terminate programmed playback. In program stop
mode, press STOP button again to clear the programming; press PLAY/PAUSE
button to begin the programmed playback with the programming order identical
with the previous one done.
MP3-CD (WMA) PLAYBACK
This player is capable of MP3-CDs. It takes longer time for this player to read an MP3-
CD than it does CD-DA. Wait patiently while it is reading.
After an MP3-CD is successfully read, the total number of albums and tracks shows in
the LCD together. And a second later, playback begins from the first track of the first
album with the icon of "Mp3"showing on the screen.
SKIP TRACKS AND SEARCH FOR A SPECIFIC POINT TO PLAY
1. Press once the SKIP/SEARCH up button in music play to skip to the next track. To
skip to a specific track ahead, press this button several times.
2. Press once the SKIP/SEARCH down button in music play to skip to the previous
track. To skip to a specific track at back, press this button several times.
3. Press +10/ALBUM button once in play to skip to the track 10 tracks ahead, twice
to skip to the track 20 tracks ahead. You can reach the last track of the disc using
this button.
4. Hold the SKIP/SEARCH up button in music play to search at quick rate for a specific
point to play.
5. Hold the SKIP/SEARCH down button in music play to search at quick rate for a
specific point to play.
6. Hold the +10/ALBUM button once during play, the album number flashes; select
the desired album using the SKIP/SEARCH buttons or the +10/ALBUM button;
confirm this album selection by holding +10/ALBUM button again, the track
number "000" flickers for your input; select the desired track of the chosen album
using the SKIP/SEARCH button or +10/ALBUM button. Finally, press PLAY/PAUSE
button again to begin playing this chosen track.

ALBUM button, and press PROGRAM button again to store; the track number
flickers waiting for your selection. Choose the desired track with SKIP/SEARCH
buttons or +10 /ALBUM button. Press PROGRAM button again to confirm the first
programming and advance to the next programming step. The program sequence
indication changes to "P-02" waiting for your next input.
• Repeat the steps above to program more tracks. A maximum of 99 tracks can be
programmed in memory in a preferred order.
• Press PLAY/PAUSE button to begin programmed play in the preferred order
after you are done with programming. The player stops automatically after all
programmed tracks are played.
• You may press STOP button to terminate programmed playback. In program stop
mode, press STOP button again to clear the programming; press PLAY/PAUSE
button to begin the programmed playback with the programming order identical
with the previous one done.
EXTERNAL MEMORY MEDIA OPERATION (USB,MMC/SD)
• Prepare the player for external memory media operation
• Insert a USB data traveller into the USB port OR insert a MMC/SD card into the card
slot; slide the FUNCTION switch to the USB/CARD position and playback will start
from the first track.
NOTE:
The player reads data from the USB by default if both USB data traveller and MMC/
SD cards are inserted. You may press the USB/CARD button to switch between these
modes in stop mode.

VARIOUS PLAY MODES
SKIPPING TRACKS AND SEARCHING BETWEEN TRACKS
• Press SKIP UP button once to skip the current track and play the next track, press
this button continuously to go to corresponding tracks ahead;
• Press SKIP DOWN button once to skip the current track and go back to the
previous track, press this button continuously to go back to corresponding tracks
at back. Press and hold SKIP buttons to initiate high-rate scanning between tracks;
release one of them to begin playback of music at normal speed.
REPEAT MODES
• Press MODE button once in play mode to repeat the current track; the LCD shows
the icon for single track repeat.
• Press MODE button twice in play mode to repeat tracks on stored on this storage
media (USB/MMC card) as a whole; the LCD shows the icon for all tracks repeat.
Press MODE button thrice to repeat tracks in the current folder as a whole; the LCD
shows the icon for DIR repeat.
RANDOM PLAY
Press MODE button for the fourth time in play to activate random playback
immediately; the player will pick up tracks in a random sequence for playback after
PLAY/PAUSE button is pressed. You may press STOP button to exit random play mode
and press PLAY/PAUSE button to resume normal playback.
INTROSCAN PLAY
Press MODE button for the fifth time in play mode to activate introscan playback
immediately; the player will pick up tracks for playback of the first 10 seconds of each
track in a sequential order after PLAY/PAUSE button is pressed. You may press MODE
button once again to exit introscan play mode and return to normal playback from
the track it's arrived at.
AUXILIARYIN
Your player can be used as a power amplifier to playback the programs from portable
radio, TV set or MP3 player or whatever provided this appliance is so designed that
audio signal may be produced through a LINE-OUT jack or the like. Observe the
following steps to connect the player to another appliance:
1. Power the player on using the supplied AC Power Cord.
2. Slide Function Switch to CD/MP3/Aux position.
3. Connect the appliance into the player's AUX in socket with the supplied LINE OUT
cable of the appliance.
4. Power on the appliance and begin play.
Easy job, right? At this time you will be able to hear the sound produced from the
programs the connected appliance is broadcasting.
EQ SELECTION
Press Program/EQ button continuously during disc playback mode to select EQ
sound effects among POP, ROCK, CLASS, JAZZ, BASS and NORMAL.
IMPORTANT
Note: Although this CD player can read CD-R, CD-RW and MP3 discs - in addition to
normal CD's - the playability of CD-R, CD-RW and MP3 discs may be affected by the
type of software that was used to create the discs, as well as the quality and condition
of the blank media you are using. 100% playability cannot be guaranteed. This is not
an indication of a problem with the player.
IMPORTANT
• The USB port of this product is fully compatible with the USB 1.1 and 2.0 standard.
If MP3 players connected to this port are not written in compliance with the
official USB 1.1 or 2.0 standard it may occur that those MP3 players do not work on
this port. This is not a defective of this product.
• The MP3 player does not comply with the official USB 1.1 or 2.0 standard.

Snoerbescherming
Om storingen aan de speler te vermijden, en om bescherming te bieden tegen een
elektrische schok, vuur of persoonlijke letsels, moeten de volgende punten nageleefd
worden.
• De stekker stevig aanhouden vast wanneer het AC snoer ingestoken of
uitgetrokken wordt.

Plaatsing

• De speler verwijderd houden van bloemvazen, bakken, gootstenen, enz. Indien

• Magnetische voorwerpen zoals luidsprekers op een afstand van de speler houden.
Bewaring
• De speler in een horizontale positie plaatsen, en geen zware voorwerpen op de
speler plaatsen.
• De speler niet op versterkers of andere uitrustingen plaatsen die heet kunnen
worden.
Condensatie
In de volgende voorwaarden kan er zich condenswater op de lens vormen:
• Onmiddellijk nadat een verwarmer ingeschakeld is.
• In een kamer met stoom of veel vocht.
• Wanneer de speler van een koude naar een warme omgeving gebracht wordt.
Indien zich vocht in de speler vormt is het mogelijk dat de speler niet correct werkt. In
dat geval moet de speler gedurende ongeveer een uur uitgeschakeld worden zodat
het vocht kan verdampen.
Opgelet:
• Om een elektrische schok te vermijden, mag deze eenheid niet blootgesteld
worden aan druip- of spatwater.
• Respecteer een minimum afstand rond het apparaat om voor een voldoende
verluchting te zorgen.
• De ventilatie mag niet belemmerd worden door het afsluiten van de
ventilatieopeningen met voorwerpen zoals kranten, tafelkleden, gordijnen enz.
• Plaats geen bronnen van naakte vlammen, zoals brandende kaarsen, op het
apparaat.

WEERGAVEN IN HET LCD VENSTER
1. "PROG" verschijnt tijdens het programmeren en tijdens geprogrammeerd
afspelen.
2. "RANDOM" verschijnt tijdens willekeurig afspelen.

STROOMVOORZIENING
HET GEBRUIK VAN BATTERIJEN
1. Verwijder voorzichtig het deksel van het batterijcompartiment.
2. Plaats 8 batterijen, formaat 'C' (UM-2 of gelijkwaardig) en let daarbij op de correcte
plaatsing van de polen. (Niet meegeleverd)
3. Plaats het deksel van het batterijcompartiment weer terug.
OPMERKINGEN:
• Bij batterijgebruik dient u het lichtnetsnoer te verwijderen.

• Lekkende batterijen kunnen het compartiment en de speler in zijn geheel
beschadigen en moeten daarom verwijderd worden als ze leeg raken of als de
speler enige tijd niet op batterijen werkt.
GEBRUIK VAN HOOFDSTROOM
Sluit het stroomsnoer aan op de AC aansluiting van de speler en sluit de stekker aan
op een wandcontactdoos.
HET AFSPELEN VAN DE RADIO
1. Zet de FUNCTION schakelaar op de RADIO stand. De POWER indicator zal oplichten.
2. Selecteer met de BAND schakelaar de gewenste frequentie.
3. Stem af op het gewenste station door aan de TUNING CONTROL knop te draaien
(draai de knop heen en weer tot u het sterkste en meest heldere signaal ontvangt).
4. De ingebouwde AM antenne en FM TELESCOPISCHE ANTENNE zijn richtinggevoelig.
• Als u op een FM kanaal afstemt, trek dan de TELESCOPISCHE ANTENNE volledig uit
en roteer deze voor de beste ontvangst.
• Voor de beste AM ontvangst dient het gehele apparaat geroteerd te worden.
5. Pas het volume aan tot een prettig niveau.
6. Om de radio uit te zetten zet u de FUNCTION schakelaar op UIT, USB/KAART of CD/
MP3/AUX.
OPMERKINGEN:
• Als een FM (STEREO) signaal zwak is of u hoort teveel ruis, zet dan de frequentieschakelaar
op FM (MONO). Dit zorgt vaak voor een aanzienlijk betere ontvangst.
• Als de frequentieschakelaar op FM STEREO staat en er wordt in stereo
uitgezonden, dan zal het FM ST. lampje gaan branden.
HOOFDTELEFOONAANSLUITING
Aan de zijkant van de speler is een stereo hoofdtelefoonaansluiting aangebracht
zodat u kunt luisteren zonder overlast voor anderen. Sluit hiervoor uw hoofd/
oortelefoon (NIET INBEGREPEN) aan en pas het volume aan tot het gewenste niveau.
OPMERKING: Tijdens het gebruik van de hoofdtelefoon worden de luidsprekers
uitgeschakeld.
GEBRUIK EN ONDERHOUD VAN SCHIJVEN
Volg voor een lange en probleemloze toepassing de volgende instructies voor het
gebruik en onderhoud van uw schijven.
• Raak nooit de regenboogzijde van uw schijf aan; pak het aan de buitenzijden op.
• Langdurige blootstelling aan zon, hoge temperaturen en vocht zullen uw schijf
beschadigen. Zorg ervoor dat de bewaarruimte schoon is.
• Breng nooit labels aan op beide zijden van uw schijf. Schrijf ook nooit met een
scherp of gepunt voorwerp op een schijf.
• Een schijf maakt u schoon door met een zachte droge doek of schijfborstel van
binnenuit naar buiten te bewegen. Voorkom het gebruik van reinigingsvloeistof of
vlekkenwater.
• Bewaar de schijf als die niet wordt gebruikt altijd in zijn hoes.

EEN SCHIJF LADEN
1. Open de CD schuif met behulp van de DOOR OPEN knop
2. Leg een schijf met het label naar boven op de schijfhouder.
3. Sluit de schuif.
EEN SCHIJF AFSPELEN
1. Zet de FUNCTION schakelaar op CD/MP3/AUX.
2. Volg de bovenstaande instructies om een schijf te laden.
3. Zodra de schuif dicht is leest de speler de schijf en verschijnt "READING" in het LCD
venster.
4. Als de schijf succesvol is gelezen verschijnt TOC (totale schijfinhoud) in het LCD
venster en begint automatisch het afspelen van het eerste nummer.

5. Druk eenmaal op de PLAY/PAUSE knop om het afspelen te onderbreken. De
verstreken tijd van het huidige nummer knippert en "PAUSE" verschijnt onderaan in
het LCD venster om het onderbreken aan te geven. Druk op de Stop knop om het
afspelen te beëindigen. In het LCD venster verschijnt weer TOC met onderaan "STOP".
OVERSLAAN VAN NUMMERS EN ZOEKEN NAAR EEN
AFSPEELPUNT
1. Druk om tijdens het afspelen naar het volgende nummer te springen op de SKIP/
SEARCH UP knop. Druk om naar een specifiek nummer verderop te springen
diverse malen op deze knop.
2. Druk om tijdens het huidige nummer naar het begin van het huidige nummer te
springen op de SKIP/SEARCH DOWN knop. Druk om voorgaande nummers over te
slaan diverse malen op deze knop.
3. Druk tijdens het afspelen eenmaal op de +10/ALBUM knop om 10 nummers
vooruit te springen en tweemaal om 20 vooruit te springen. U kunt met deze knop
naar het laatste nummer van de schijf gaan.
4. Houd de SKIP/SEARCH UP knop ingedrukt om snel naar een specifiek afspeelpunt
te zoeken.
5. Houd de SKIP/SEARCH DOWN knop tijdens het afspelen ingedrukt om snel naar
een specifiek afspeelpunt te zoeken.
TERUGSPELEN VAN EEN ENKEL NUMMER
Om een voorkeursnummer tijdens het afspelen opnieuw te beluisteren drukt u
eenmaal op de MODE knop. In het LCD venster verschijnt "REPT 1". Kies vervolgens het
gewenste nummer door op de SKIP/SEARCH of +10/ALBUM knoppen te drukken. De
speler zal het gekozen nummer net zolang terugspelen totdat u op de STOP knop drukt.
TERUGSPELEN VAN ALLE NUMMERS
Om alle nummers terug te spelen drukt u tijdens het afspelen twee maal op de
MODE knop. In het LCD venster verschijnt "REPT ALL". De speler zal alle nummers net
zolang terugspelen totdat u op de STOP knop drukt.
RANDOM PLAY
Random play houdt in dat alle nummers op een schijf in willekeurige volgorde
worden afgespeeld. Druk drie maal op de MODE knop om deze functie in te
schakelen. In het LCD venster verschijnt "RANDOM". De nummers op de schijf
worden willekeurig afgespeeld en de speler stopt automatisch als alle nummers zijn
afgespeeld. Druk op de STOP knop om de Random afspeelfunctie uit te zetten. Druk
vervolgens op de PLAY/PAUSE knop om normaal afspelen te hervatten.
INTRODUCTION PLAY
Bij Introduction play worden de eerste tien seconden van ieder nummer op volgorde
afgespeeld. Druk vier maal op de MODE knop om deze functie in te schakelen. In het
LCD venster verschijnt "INTRO". Druk op de MODE knop om Introduction play uit te
zetten en gewoon afspelen te hervatten. Druk in de Introduction mode op de SKIP/
SEARCH UP knop om Introduction play te starten na het huidige nummer. Druk in de
Introduction mode op de SKIP/SEARCH DOWN knop om Introduction play te starten
vanaf het huidige nummer.
VOORGEPROGRAMEERD AFSPELEN
• Voorgeprogrammeerd afspelen houdt in dat de nummers op een schijf in een
gewenste volgorde worden geprogrammeerd met behulp van de PROGRAM knop.
• Druk in de CD modus eenmaal op de PROGRAM/EQ knop. In het LCD
venster verschijnt "PROG" terwijl het afspeelnummer en de aanduiding van
programmeervolgorde "P-01" knipperen. Kies het eerste nummer dat u wilt
programmeren door op de SKIP/SEARCH of +10/ALBUM knop te drukken. Druk
vervolgens op de PROGRAM knop om op te slaan en door te gaan naar de
volgende stap. De aanduiding van programmeervolgorde verandert vervolgens in
"P-02" en wacht op uw instructies.
• Herhaal de voorgaande stappen om meerdere nummers te programmeren. Er
kunnen maximaal 20 nummers in het geheugen worden geprogrammeerd.
• Druk na het programmeren op de PLAY/PAUSE knop om voorgeprogrammeerd
afspelen te starten. De speler stopt automatisch als alle geprogrammeerde
nummers zijn afgespeeld.

• Om voorgeprogrammeerd afspelen te stoppen drukt u op de STOP knop. Om het
voorgeprogrammeerde geheugen vrij te maken drukt u in de programma stop
modus op de STOP knop; om het afspelen van het eerder voorgeprogrammeerde
programma te starten drukt u weer op de PLAY/PAUSE knop.
AFSPELEN VAN MP3-CD'S (WMA)
Dit apparaat is geschikt voor MP3-CD's. Het lezen van een MP3-CD duurt langer dan
het lezen van CD-DA schijven. Wacht rustig terwijl de speler de schijf leest. Nadat een
MP3-CD succesvol is gelezen verschijnen het totaal aantal albums en nummers beide
in het LCD venster. Een seconde later begint het afspelen vanaf het eerste nummer
van het eerste album. Hierbij verschijnt het icoontje "Mp3' in het venster.
OVERSLAAN VAN NUMMERS EN ZOEKEN NAAR EEN AFSPEELPUNT
1. Druk voor het afspelen van het volgende nummer tijdens het afspelen op de SKIP/
SEARCH UP knop. Druk om door te gaan naar volgende nummers diverse malen
op deze knop.
2. Druk om naar het begin van het huidige nummer te springen tijdens het afspelen
op de SKIP/SEARCH DOWN knop. Druk om naar voorgaande nummers te springen
diverse malen op deze knop.
3. Druk tijdens het afspelen eenmaal op de +10/ALBUM knop om 10 nummers
vooruit te springen en tweemaal om 20 vooruit te springen. U kunt met deze knop
naar het laatste nummer van de schijf gaan.
4. Houd de SKIP/SEARCH UP knop ingedrukt om snel naar een specifiek afspeelpunt
te zoeken.
5. Houd de SKIP/SEARCH DOWN knop tijdens het afspelen ingedrukt om snel naar
een specifiek afspeelpunt te zoeken.
6. Druk eenmaal tijdens het afspelen op de +10/ALBUM knop, waarna het
albumnummer knippert; selecteer het gewenste album met de SKIP/SEARCH of
+10ALBUM knoppen; bevestig de albumkeuze door nogmaals op de +10ALBUM
knop te drukken. Het nummer "000" knippert. Kies het gewenste nummer of
album met de SKIP/SEARCH of +10SEARCH knoppen. Druk tot slot nogmaals op
de PLAY/PAUSE knop om het gekozen nummer af te spelen.
AFSPELEN VAN EEN ENKEL NUMMER

maal op de MODE knop. In het LCD venster verschijnt "REPT DIR". Kies vervolgens het
gewenste album met de SKIP/SEARCH of +10/ALBUM knoppen. De speler zal het
gekozen album net zolang terugspelen totdat u op de STOP knop drukt.
RANDOM PLAY
Random play houdt in dat alle nummers op een schijf in willekeurige volgorde

INTROSCAN PLAY
Bij het afspelen in de Introscan modus worden de eerste tien seconden van ieder
nummer op volgorde afgespeeld. Druk vijf maal op de MODE knop om deze functie
in te schakelen. In het LCD venster verschijnt "INTRO". Druk in de Introscan modus op
de SKIP/SEARCH UP knop om het afspelen van intro's na het huidige nummer af te
spelen. Druk in de Introscan modus op de SKIP/SEARCH DOWN knop om het afspelen
van intro's vanaf het huidige nummer af te spelen. Druk nogmaals op de MODE
knop om de Introscan modus te verlaten en het normale afspelen vanaf het huidige
nummer te hervatten.

VOORGEPROGRAMEERD AFSPELEN
• Voorgeprogrammeerd afspelen houdt in dat de nummers op een schijf in een
gewenste volgorde worden geprogrammeerd met behulp van de PROGRAM knop.
• Druk eenmaal in de MP3 stop modus op de PROGRAM knop. In het LCD venster
verschijnen "PROG" met een knipperend albumnummer en aanduiding voor de
programmeervolgorde "P-01";
• kies het te programmeren albumnummer met behulp van de SKIP/SEARCH of
+10SEARCH knoppen en druk nogmaals op de PROGRAM knop om op te slaan;
het nummer knippert in afwachting van uw keuze. Kies met behulp van de sKlP/
SEARCH of +10/ALBUM knoppen het gewenste nummer. Druk nogmaals op de
PROGRAM knop om het eerste nummer te bevestigen en door te gaan naar de
volgende stap.
• De aanduiding voor de programmeervolgorde verandert vervolgens in "P-02" en
wacht op uw instructies. Herhaal de voorgaande stappen om meerdere nummers
te programmeren. Er kunnen maximaal 99 nummers in het geheugen worden
geprogrammeerd.
• Druk na het programmeren op de PLAY/PAUSE knop om voorgeprogrammeerd
afspelen te beginnen. De speler stopt automatisch als alle voorgeprogrammeerde
nummers zijn afgespeeld.
• Om voorgeprogrammeerd afspelen te beëindigen drukt u op de STOP knop. Om
het geprogrammeerde geheugen vrij te maken drukt u in de programma stop
modus op de STOP knop; om het afspelen van het eerder geprogrammeerde
programma te hervatten drukt u weer op de PLAY/PAUSE knop.
GEBRUIK VAN EXTERNE MEDIA (USB, MMC/SD)
• Voorbereiding van de speler voor het gebruik van externe media
• Sluit een USB gegevensdrager aan op de USB poort OF schuif een MMC/SD kaart
in de kaarthouder; zet de FUNCTION schakelaar op USB/CARD. Hierna begint het
afspelen vanaf het eerste nummer.
OPMERKING: Standaard leest de speler de USB als zowel een USB gegevensdrager
als een MMC/SD kaart zijn aangesloten. Om over te schakelen van de een naar de
ander , drukt u EERST op de STOP knop en daarna drukt u op de USB/CARD knop.
VERSCHILLENDE AFSPEELMODES
OVERSLAAN VAN NUMMERS EN ZOEKEN NAAR NUMMERS
• Druk eenmaal op de SKIP UP knop om het huidige nummer over te slaan en
naar het volgende te springen. Druk herhaaldelijk op deze knop om naar de
corresponderende volgende nummers te springen.
• Druk eenmaal op de sKlP DOWN knop om het huidige nummer over te slaan
en naar het vorige te springen. Druk herhaaldelijk op deze knop om naar de
corresponderende vorige nummers te springen. Houd de SKIP knoppen blijvend
ingedrukt om snel naar nummers te zoeken; om het afspelen op normale snelheid
te hervatten laat u de knop weer los.
TERUGSPEELMODES
• Druk eenmaal in de afspeelmodus op de MODE knop om het huidige nummer terug
te spelen; in het LCD venster verschijnt het icoontje voor enkelvoudig terugspelen.
• Druk twee maal in de afspeelmodus op de MODE knop om alle nummers op
de gegevensdrager (USB/MMC kaart) in zijn geheel terug te spelen; in het LCD
venster verschijnt het icoontje voor meervoudig terugspelen.
• Druk drie maal op de MODE knop om alle nummers van de huidige folder terug te
spelen; in het LCD venster verschijnt het icoontje voor DIR terugspelen.
RANDOM PLAY
Druk in de afspeelmodus voor de vierde keer op de MODE knop om direct willekeurig
afspelen te starten; de speler zal de nummers in willekeurige volgorde afspelen nadat de
PLAY/PAUSE knop is ingedrukt. Druk op de STOP knop om de Random play functie uit te
zetten. Druk vervolgens op de PLAY/PAUSE knop om normaal afspelen te hervatten.
INTROSCAN PLAY
Druk in de afspeelmodus voor de vijfde keer op de MODE knop om direct Introscan
afspelen te starten; de speler zal de eerste 10 seconden van ieder nummer in
volgorde afspelen nadat de PLAY/PAUSE knop is ingedrukt. Druk nogmaals op de
MODE knop om de Introscan modus te stoppen en normaal afspelen van het huidige
nummer te hervatten.

AUXILIARY IN
Uw speler kan als versterker worden gebruikt voor het afspelen van programma's op
radio, TV toestel en MP3 speler of ieder apparaat dat geschikt is om audio signalen te
versturen via een LINE-OUT of vergelijkbare aansluiting.
Volg de onderstaande instructies om de speler op een extern apparaat aan te sluiten.
1. Sluit de speler aan met behulp van het AC stroomsnoer.
2. Zet de FUNCTION schakelaar op CD/MP3/AUX.
3. Sluit het externe apparaat met de daarbij bijgeleverde LINE OUT kabel aan op de
AUX ingang.
4. Zet het externe apparaat aan en begin met afspelen. Simpel, nietwaar? U hoort
direct het geluid van het programma dat door het aangesloten apparaat wordt
uitgezonden.
EQ SELECTIE
Druk tijdens het afspelen meerdere malen op de Program/EQ knop om afwisselend
de EQ geluidseffecten in te schakelen. Dit zijn POP, ROCK, ClASS, JAZZ, BASS en
NORMAAL.
BELANGRIJK
Opmerking: Hoewel deze CD speler naast gewone CD's ook CD-R, CD-RW en MP3
schijven kan lezen, kan het afspeelbaar zijn van CD-R, CD-RW en MP3 schijven
worden beïnvloed door het type software waarmee de discs zijn gemaakt. Ook de
kwaliteit en de conditie van de lege media die u gebruikt, spelen daarbij een rol. Een
afspeelbaarheid van 100% kan niet worden gegarandeerd. Dit is geen aanwijzing
voor een probleem met de speler.
BELANGRIJK
Opmerking: Hoewel deze CD speler naast gewone CD's ook CD-R, CD-RW en MP3
schijven kan lezen, kan het afspeelbaar zijn van CD-R, CD-RW en MP3 schijven
worden beïnvloed door het type software waarmee de discs zijn gemaakt. Ook de
kwaliteit en de conditie van de lege media die u gebruikt, spelen daarbij een rol. Een
afspeelbaarheid van 100% kan niet worden gegarandeerd. Dit is geen aanwijzing
voor een probleem met de speler.
AANWIJZINGEN INZAKE DE MILIEUBESCHERMING
Dit product mag aan het einde zijn levensduur niet samen met het
normale huishoudelijke afval verwijderd worden, maar moet afgegeven
worden op een verzamelpunt voor de recycling van elektrische en
elektroniche apparatuur. Het symbool op het product, in de gebruiksaanwizing of op
de verpakking maakt u daarop attent.
De grondstoffen zijn volgens hun kenmerking herbruikbaar. Met het hergebruik, de
materiële verwerking of andere vormen van recycling van oude apparaten levert u

DANGER

ATTENTION
Pour éviter les risques d'incendie et d'électrocution, n'exposez pas cet appareil à la
pluie ou à l'humidité. Pour éviter l'électrocution, n'ouvrez pas le boîtier, n'en confiez-
en l'entretien qu'à un technicien compétent.

L'usage des commandes, des réglages ou le recours à des procédures autres que ceux
spécifiés dans le présent document peut provoquer une exposition dangereuse aux

PRÉCAUTIONS
Veuillez lire ces précautions avant de faire fonctionner cet appareil.
Protection du cordon d’alimentation
Pour éviter que le lecteur ne fonctionne mal et afin de vous protéger des risques
d’électrocution, d’incendie, veuillez observer les consignes suivantes :
• Tenez fermement la fiche lorsque vous branchez et débranchez le cordon
d’alimentation CA.
• Ne branchez pas et ne débranchez pas le cordon d’alimentation CA lorsque vous
mains sont mouillées.
• Veuillez éloigner le cordon d’alimentation CA des appareils de chauffage.
• Ne placez aucun objet lourd sur le cordon d’alimentation CA.
• Ne tentez pas de réparer d’aucune façon le cordon d’alimentation CA.
• Retirez la poussière, la saleté, etc. de la fiche régulièrement.
Choix d’un emplacement
Évitez d’entreposer le lecteur dans les endroits suivants :
• Sous les rayons directs du soleil, près des plinthes électriques ou dans une
automobile.
• Dans des endroits où la température est élevée (plus de 35° C) ou des endroits
humides (dépassant 90%).
• Des endroits poussiéreux.
• Dans des endroits où se dégagent de fortes vibrations, des impacts ou là ou
la surface n’est pas égale car les pièces internes de l’appareil risqueraient de
s’endommager.
Périodes de non-utilisation
Lorsque vous ne l’utilisez pas pendant une longue période de temps, débranchez-le
de la prise de courant CA.
N’insérez pas vos doigts ou tout autre objet à l’intérieur de l’appareil
• Ne touchez pas aux pièces internes de ce lecteur, ceci est dangereux et peut
causer des dommages sérieux à l’appareil. Ne tentez pas de démonter l’appareil.
• Ne mettez pas d’objets étrangers sur le plateau des disques.

Mode d’emploi
Éloignez de l’eau et des objets magnétiques
• Éloignez le lecteur des vases à fleurs, baignoires, éviers, etc. Si des liquides sont
renversés sur le lecteur, des dommages sérieux pourraient s’ensuivre.
• Éloignez du lecteur les objets magnétiques tels que les haut-parleurs.
Empilage
• Installez le lecteur en position horizontale et ne placez rien de lourd sur le dessus
du lecteur.
• N’installez pas le lecteur sur un amplificateur ou autre équipement dégageant de
la chaleur.
Condensation
De la condensation risque de se former sur la lentille dans l’une ou l’autre de des
conditions suivantes :
• Immédiatement après avoir allumé un appareil de chauffage.
• Dans une pièce humide chargée de vapeur.
• Lorsque le lecteur est déplacé d’un environnement froid à un environnement chaud.
Si de l’humidité se forme à l’intérieur du lecteur, celui-ci risque de ne pas fonctionner
correctement. Si ceci se produit, mettez l’appareil hors tension et attendez environ
une heure avant de le remettre en marche pour que l’humidité s’évapore.
Attention:
• Afin d’éviter tout risque d’électrocution, cet appareil ne doit pas être exposé aux
gouttes d’eau ni aux éclaboussures.
• Veillez à conserver des distances minimales autour de l’appareil pour une bonne
aération.
• L’aération ne doit pas être gênée, il ne faut donc pas couvrir les ouvertures prévues
à cet effet avec des objets tels que des journaux, des nappes, des rideaux, etc.
• Aucune source ouverte produisant des flammes, telle que des bougies, ne doit
être placée sur l’appareil.
• L’utilisation de l’appareil dans des climats tropicaux et/ou tempérés.
• Avant de jeter l’appareil, retirez les piles et placez-les dans le conteneur de collecte
de piles approprié.

Précautions contre les éclaboussures : n'exposez pas l'appareil aux risques
d'éclaboussures ou de projections de liquides tels que ceux provoqués notamment
par des bris de verre contenant du liquide, ou lorsque l'appareil est placé près d'un
écoulement de liquide (robinet, évacuation d'eau etc..) Un contenant - vase par exemple -
du liquide ne sera jamais placé sur, ou dans l'environnement immédiat, de l'appareil.
La ventilation de l'appareil : les ouvertures do boîtier de l'appareil ne peuvent
être obstruées ou couvertes intentionnellement afin de toujours assurer la bonne
ventilation interne de l'appareil.
Déconnectez le cordon d'alimentation de l'appareil de la prise domestique pour
couper complètement l'alimentation de l'appareil. Reconnectez le cordon à la prise
d'alimentation domestique pour réutiliser l'appareil.
