nControleer of de aansluitspanning
overeenkomt met de netspanning
in de woning.
nMaak de boxspringleeslamp
spanningsloos voordat u met
schoonmaken begint. Trek de
stekker uit het stopcontact.
nZorg ervoor dat het snoer niet
bekneld kan raken.
nLeg het snoer zodanig dat niemand
erover kan struikelen.
nGebruik de boxspringleeslamp niet
als steun om u aan op te trekken of
om tegenaan te leunen.
nLet op kleine kinderen die op of
onder het bed kunnen spelen.
Onderstaande nummers komen
overeen met de tekeningen op de
uitklappagina.
1. Haak de lamp aan de hoofdsteunbuis
of afstandhouder.
2. Let erop dat het snoer niet tussen de
buis en de klem van lamp bekneld
raakt.
3. Zet de klem lichtjes vast.
4. Stel de lamp recht.
5. Draai de schroeven goed aan zodat
de lamp vastzit.
6. Monteer het verlengsnoer en de
stekker.

4. Storingen 5. Onderhoud
nDe elektrische delen van de
boxspringleeslamp werken op 12 V
zwakstroom. Een eventuele storing
is lastig, maar nooit gevaarlijk.
Controleer of:
nde stekker in het stopcontact zit;
ner netspanning aanwezig is;
nhet stekkertje van het aansluit- en
de verlengsnoeren in de
transformator en de lamp zitten.
nHet vervangen van een LED lampje
is niet nodig. Een LED lampje heeft
zo om en nabij 50.000 branduren,
dat is zo’n 45 jaar, bij 3 uren
branden per dag.

6. Auping garantie
De merknaam Auping staat borg voor
jarenlang probleemloos functioneren.
Auping maakt gebruik van hoog-
waardige en duurzame materialen.
Elk product wordt met de grootste
zorg gefabriceerd en nauwkeurig
gecontroleerd voordat het de fabriek
verlaat.
Op alle Auping producten wordt
standaard garantie gegeven. Deze
garantie wordt gegeven door de
erkende Auping dealer die het
betreffende product verkocht heeft;
diens naam en adres zijn vermeld in de
originele factuur.
Daarnaast bestaat de mogelijkheid om
via www.auping.nl/garantie of via
www.auping.be/nl/garantie tot regi-
stratie van een aankoop over te gaan.
Na registratie kan jegens de hiervoor
bedoelde dealer kosteloos aanspraak
gemaakt worden op een verlengde
garantie, voor bijna alle Auping
artikelen. Met garantie in totaal wordt
hierna de periode van standaard en
verlengde garantie samen bedoeld. De
totale garantietermijn voor boxspring-
leeslampen bedraagt 2 jaar.
De garantietermijn gaat in op de datum
die vermeld staat op de factuur van de
consument.

Application to Auping AVS Box Springs.
For a flat, non-adjustable AVS box
spring without headboard you need to
order a separate set of spacers, Item
no. 499875SC, on which to mount the
lights.

nCheck whether the connecting
voltage matches the mains voltage
within the home.
nDisconnect the box spring reading
light from the power supply before
you clean it. Pull the plug from the
socket.
nMake sure that the power cord
cannot become trapped.
nPlace the power cord such so that
no one can trip over it.
nDo not use the box spring reading
light as a support to pull yourself
up or to lean against.
nWatch for small children who can
play on or under the bed.
Below listed steps, correspond with the
images on the folding page at the end
of this booklet.
1. Hook the clamp over the headboard
support or spacer.
2. Make sure that the power cord is not
clamped between the light’s tube
and clamp.
3. Loosely tighten the clamp by turning
the bottom 2 screws.
4. Set the arm of the light horizontally
by turning the top screw.
5. Now tighten the bottom 2 screws so
the clamp is properly fixed.
6. Connect the extention cord (if
needed) and connect the lights to
the plugs of the power transformer.

4. Troubleshooting 5. Care
nThe electrical components of the
box spring reading light operate on
12 V weak current. Any fault, while
inconvenient, is never dangerous.
Check whether:
nthe plug is properly plugged in;
nthere is mains voltage;
nthe small plug of the connecting
and extension power cord is
properly plugged into the
transformer and the light.
nYou never need to replace the LED
lamp. A LED lamp is rated at
around 50,000 burning hours. That
represents approximately 45
years, if the lamp was to be turned
on for 3 hours per day.

6. Auping warranty
The Auping brand name guarantees
many years of problem-free operation.
Auping only uses high-quality, durable
materials. Each product is manu-
factured with the utmost care and
meticulously inspected before it leaves
the factory.
All Auping products come with a
standard warranty. This warranty is
issued by the certified Auping dealer
who sold the relevant product and
whose name and address are listed on
the original invoice.
In addition, you have the option
of registering your purchase at
www.auping com/warranty. Following
registration, you can avail yourself of an
extended warranty with the above
referenced dealer, at no cost, for
almost all Auping products. The term
‘total warranty’ hereinafter refers to the
period of the standard and extended
warranty together. The total warranty
period for this Box Spring Reading Light
is 2 years.
The term of the warranty commences
on the date specified on the consumer’s
invoice.

nContrôlez si la tension de
raccordement correspond à la
tension du réseau de l’habitation.
nMettez la lampe de lecture pour
sommier tapissier hors tension
avant d’entamer son nettoyage.
Retirez la fiche de la prise.
nVeillez à ce que le câble ne puisse
pas être coincé.
nPosez le câble de façon à éviter
tout risque de trébuchement.
nN’utilisez pas la lampe de lecture
pour sommier tapissiers en guise
de support pour effectuer une
traction ou vous appuyer.
nSoyez attentif aux petits enfants
qui pourraient jouer sur ou sous le
lit.

correspond avec les images sur la
page de pliage à la fin de cette
brochure.
1. Accrochez la lampe sur le support
de tête de lit ou sur l’entretoise.
2. Veillez à ne pas coincer le câble
entre le tube et l’attache de la lampe.
3. Serrez lâchement les 2 vis de
l’attache.
4. Réglez la lampe tout droit par serrer
la vis supérieure.
5. Serrez fermement les 2 vis le plus
bas.
6. Insérez les petites fiches des câbles
(et des rallonges) dans le
transformateur.

4. Pannes 5. Entretien
nLes composants électriques de la
lampe de lecture pour sommier
tapissier fonctionnent sur un
courant faible de 12 V. Une panne
éventuelle est gênante, mais
jamais dangereuse.
Contrôlez si :
nla fiche est insérée dans la prise ;
nla tension du réseau est présente ;
nles petites fiches des câbles de
raccordement et des rallonges
sont bien insérées dans le
transformateur et la lampe.
nLe remplacement d’une lampe LED
n’est pas nécessaire. Une lampe
LED offre une durée de vie de
quelque 50000 heures, soit 45 ans
à raison de 3 heures par jour.

6. Garantie Auping
La marque Auping se porte garante de
longues années de fonctionnement
sans le moindre problème. Auping a
recours à des matériaux de qualité
supérieure et durables. Chaque produit
est fabriqué avec le plus grand soin et
contrôlé scrupuleusement avant de
quitter l’usine.
La garantie standard est offerte sur
tous les produits Auping. Cette garantie
est fournie par le distributeur
Auping agréé qui a vendu le produit en
question ; son nom et son adresse sont
mentionnés sur la facture originale.
Vous avez en outre la possibilité de
procéder à l’enregistrement de votre
achat sur www.auping.be/fr/garantie.
Après l’enregistrement, il est possible
de revendiquer gratuitement la garantie
prolongée à l’égard du distributeur
concerné pour pratiquement tous les
produits Auping. La garantie totale
sous-entend l’application conjointe des
périodes correspondant à la garantie
standard et la garantie prolongée. La
garantie totale est de 2 ans.
Le délai de garantie prend effet à la
date mentionnée sur la facture du
consommateur.

nKontrollieren Sie, ob die
Anschlussspannung der
Netzspannung im Haus entspricht.
nBevor Sie mit der Reinigung der
Boxspring-Leselampe beginnen,
müssen Sie sie erst spannungsfrei
machen. Ziehen Sie den Stecker
aus der Steckdose.
nSorgen Sie dafür, dass das Kabel
nicht eingeklemmt werden kann.
nVerlegen Sie das Kabel so, dass
niemand darüber stolpern kann.
nBenutzen Sie die Boxspring-
Leselampe nicht als Stütze, um
sich daran hochzuziehen oder
daran anzulehnen.
nSeien Sie vorsichtig bei kleinen
Kindern, die auf oder unter dem
Bett spielen können.
Die folgenden Schritte entsprechen den
Nummern der Zeichnungen auf der
Ausklappseite.
1. Haken Sie die Lampe an der
Kopfteilstütze oder dem
Abstandhalter ein.
2. Achten Sie darauf, dass das Kabel
nicht zwischen Rohr und Klemme
der Lampe eingeklemmt wird.
3. Befestigen Sie die Klemme
handwarm.
4. Stellen Sie die Lampe gerade.
5. Ziehen Sie die Schrauben gut an,
damit die Lampe festsitzt.
6. Bringen Sie Verlängerungskabel und
Stecker an.

nDie elektrischen Teile der
Boxspring-Leselampe sind in
12-V-Schwachstrom ausgeführt.
Eine eventuelle Störung ist lästig,
aber keinesfalls gefährlich.
Kontrollieren Sie, ob:
nder Stecker in der Steckdose ist;
nNetzspannung vorhanden ist;
nder Stecker des Anschluss- und
Verlängerungskabels im Trafo und
der Lampe steckt.
nEs ist nicht nötig, eine LED-Lampe
auszutauschen. Eine LED-Lampe
hat ca. 50.000 Betriebsstunden.
Bei einer Gebrauchszeit von 3
Stunden pro Tag ergibt sich eine
Lebensdauer von ca. 45 Jahren.

6. Auping-Garantie
Der Markenname Auping ist eine
Gewähr für jahrelange problemlose

genauestens kontrolliert.

Standardgarantie. Eine Garantie-
meldung muss bei dem anerkannten
Auping-Vertragshändler erfolgen, bei
dem das betreffende Produkt gekauft
wurde; sein Name und seine Adresse
stehen auf der Originalrechnung.
Darüber hinaus besteht die
Möglichkeit, einen Kauf auf der Site
www.auping.de/garantie zu registrie-
ren. Nach der Registrierung kann bei
dem oben genannten Vertragshändler
für fast alle Auping-Artikel kostenlos
ein Anspruch auf eine verlängerte
Garantie geltend gemacht werden.
Unter „gesamte Garantiezeit“ versteht
sich nachstehend die Gesamtdauer von
Standardgarantie und verlängerter
Garantie. Auf Leselampe beträgt die
Gesamtdauer der Garantiezeit 2 Jahre.
Die Garantiefrist beginnt an dem
Datum, das auf der Rechnung des
Verbrauchers angegeben ist.

nKontroller at husets
vekselspænding passer til
transformeren.
nAfbryd strømmen og tag stikket ud
til lampen før rengøring.
nSørg for, at ledningen ikke kan
komme i klemme.
nSørg for, at ingen kan falde over
ledningen.
nAnvend ikke læselampen som
støtte til at står ud af sengen og
læn dig heller ikke op ad lampen.
nLad ikke børn lege i eller under
sengen.
Nedenstående beskrivelse følger
billederne trin for trin på foldesiden
bagerst i denne manual.
1. Sæt lampebeslaget på hovedgærdet
beslag eller afstandsholderen.
2. Sørg for at ledningen ikke sidder i
klemme mellem lampe og beslag.
3. Beslaget løsnes let ved at dreje på
de to nederste skruer.
4. Sæt lampearmen horisontalt ved at
dreje skruen i toppen.
5. Stram nu de to nederste skruer, så
beslaget sidder helt fast.
6. Tilslut forlængerledningen (hvis
nødvendigt) og tilslut lamperne til
transformerne.
