MOUNTING LOCATION
INSTALLATION
The GS8 is a solar outdoor light with motion sensor. The solar panel acts as the major energy source: it
converts sunlight into electricity and recharges the internal battery. Please note that when installing the
lamp, the solar cells require as much DIRECT SUNLIGHT as possible (at least 5-7 hours). The longer the
solar cells are exposed to direct sunlight, the longer the lamp will stay ON during the night.
When the lamp is in a location that receives less sunlight, it will operate for fewer hours per night, depend-
ing on the selected lighting mode. Night lighting time can also vary depending on how bright the sky is on
any given day.
Insufficient charging of the battery will affect performance and may result in the fact that the lamp goes off
before dawn because the battery was not fully charged.
The solar panel is best directed as much as possible towards the south in order to maximize exposure to
direct sunlight. Please note that the four different seasons (and the sun’s angle in these 4 season periods)
can affect the lighting time of the lamp.
Select a location that is not located close to other light sources, such as for example street lighting,
because this enables the lamp to be switched off automatically. Maximum lighting time depends on
sunlight and daytime charging. Minimum charging time is 5~7 hours in direct sunlight.
·Cut the Measure Card from packing box.
·Choose a stable, solid and supportive surface and make sure the lamp is mounted faced towards the
sun. Mounting height is 2-4 meters.
·Use the Measure Card to mark the screw positions.
·Drill the wall and screw the lamp onto the wall using the supplied wall plugs and screws. Leave at least
5 mm of the screw above the surface hatch to fix the lamp properly.
·This lamp is intended only for outside use.

You have chosen to purchase a AURAXY Solar LED Wall Light GS8. We thank you for this purchase and
hope that your experiences with this product will be pleasant ones. Prior to using this product, you should
carefully read these user instructions so that you can install and operate your GS8 accordingly. Please
keep these user instructions so that you can reference them later on.

MOTION SENSOR RANGE
OPERATION
MODE 1: OFF
One motion sensor can be used in a range of
max. 10 meters. Actual range of the motion
detection sensor depends on mounting height
as shown in the illustration. TROUBLESHOOTING
DISPOSAL
Make sure the solar panel is kept dust free and clean. Clean it regularly (1x per month) with a dry cloth
and with warm soapy water. Dirty solar panels may not fully charge the battery. This can lead to premature
aging of the battery and may result in unreliable operation of the device.
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection facilities.
Contact your local government for information regarding the collection systems available. If electrical
appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and
get into the food chain, damaging your health and wellbeing. When replacing old appliances with new
ones, the retailer is legally obligated to take back your old appliance for disposals at least free of charge.
Problem 1: Light does not turn on if something or someone moves into the detection range.
Possible solution: Make sure that:
· The motion sensor is clean (if not, please clean it).
· The solar panel is clean (if not please clean it)
· The solar cell was mounted so that it is able to receive as much as possible direct sunlight during the
day
· The battery is sufficiently charged (if not, leave the lamp for 1-2 sunny days charging in the OFF
position)
Problem 2: Light flashes incorrectly or low light
Possible solution:
· Weak battery. Let the lamp charge again for 1-2 sunny days (or 3-4 “Ordinary” days) in the OFF
position.

The GS8 has 4 lighting modes, which can be selected using the Mode Switch :
1. MODE 1: OFF
2. MODE 2: AUTO
Push the Mode Switch on AUTO position. The main light and back light will turn ON automatically at night
(<30 LUX) at full light (100%) when motion is detected in the detection range. About 20 seconds after the
last motion has been detected, the main light and back light turn OFF.
3. MODE 3:
Push the Mode Switch on position. The main light and back light will turn ON automatically at night
(<30 LUX) at full light (100%) when motion is detected in the detection range. About 20 seconds after the
last motion has been detected, the main light turns to 3% of full light and the back light turns ON and keep
on working till the morning time or till the battery is empty.
4. MODE 4:
Push the Mode Switch on position. The main light and back light will turn ON automatically at night
(<30 LUX) at full light (100%) when motion is detected in the detection range. About 20 seconds after the
last motion has been detected, the main light turns OFF and the back light turns ON and keep on working
till the morning time or till the battery is empty.
5. Push the Mode Switch on OFF position, the lamp is turned OFF completely. The solar cells will charge
the battery without activating the lamp. Leave the lamp in this position for at least 2 or 3 sunny days so the
battery can be fully charged before using it.
