•Read and follow the instructions published by the vehicle’s battery manufacturer and the manufacturer of any
equipment you intend to use in the vicinity of the battery. Review all caution markings on these products and on
the engine.
•DO NOT allow the positive (red) and negative (black) booster clamps of the Jump starter to come into contact with
each other or a common piece of metal at any time. Sparking, explosion, or damage to the unit may result. The
safety switch should be off at all times except when using the Jump Starter to re-start your battery (see
instructions).
•hen jump starting a vehicle, make sure that the positive and negative booster clamps are properly connected to
the vehicle and the battery. Failure to connect the clamps properly may cause sparking, an explosion, or damage
to the unit.
•DO NOT smoke or allow a spark or flame near the vehicle’s battery and engine.
•AL AYS wear eye protection when working with batteries.
•KEEP THIS JUMP STARTER OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
•If battery acid comes into contact with eyes, flush the eyes with water for at least 10 minutes and seek medical
attention immediately.
•Never operate this unit near any flammable gasses, liquids, or near an open flame.
•If skin or clothing comes into contact with battery acid, immediately wash the affected area with soap and water
and seek medical attention.
•Be sure to remove all metal items (watches, necklaces, rings, etc,) before using the Jump Starter.
•DO NOT expose the Jump starter to moisture.
•DO NOT use the Jump Starter in extremely hot conditions.
•Always turn the Safety Switch off when not in use.
•DO NOT open the Jump Starter. There are no serviceable parts in this unit. If you do open this unit up you will void
the warranty.
•Only charge the unit with the 120V AC charger supplied with the unit.
•Keep this unit away from any sources of moisture or humidity such as rain or snow.
•Only use the 12V outlet with 12V accessories.

If the electric circuit is overloaded with other appliances your Jump Starter may not operate properly. The
Jump Starter should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from other operating appliances.

Although your Jump Starter is easy to operate for your safety the warnings below must be followed:
1. Do not place the Jump Starter near a heat source.
2. Never leave the Jump Starter unattended while connected to the electrical outlet.
3. Use the Jump Starter on a stable surface away from water.
4. Do not unplug the Jump Starter by pulling on the power supply cord.
5. The Jump Starter must be unplugged:
A. Before any cleaning or maintenance.
B. After charging.

CHARGING THE BATTERY
The Jump Starter has a built in rechargeable battery. Although it arrives partially charged from the factory we
recommend that you fully charge it before the first use.
Charging Socket Red Charging Light
•Plug the AC/DC Adapter into the power outlet and then plug the opposite end into the charging socket.
The red LED light above the charging socket will illuminate to show that the unit is charging. When the
light changes color to green the battery is fully charged and should be disconnected from the power
outlet.
•DO NOT continuously charge the unit for more than 36 hours.
•Use ONLY the power cords provided with this unit. Otherwise you may damage the unit and void the
warranty.
•Charge this unit between 6-12 hours after each use and every 2 months unless the LED lights indicate
otherwise.
• To recharge with the Car Charging Adapter plug the small end into the charging socket and the other
end into your vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket or 12V power port. Full charging will take approximately
6-12 hours. NOTE: Some vehicle’s cigarette lighters and 12V power ports do not operate unless the
ignition switch is in the accessory position.

Press and hold the battery test switch on the front of the unit when the battery is not charging. The battery level
indicator lights will illuminate to indicate the amount of charge remaining in the Jump Starter.
•When the battery is fully charged the green High indicator will light up.
•When the battery is at 50% or lower only the yellow Low indicator will light up.
•When the battery must be recharged only the red indicator will light up. You must recharge the Jump
Starter before using it.

If your vehicle’s battery is too weak to start your car you can use the Jump Starter to start it.
•Make sure all the accessories in your vehicle are turned off (lights radio AC heater etc.).
•Make sure there are no 12V accessories attached to the Jump Starter and that the work light is turned
off.
•Securely connect the RED positive (+) booster clamp to the corresponding positive (+) terminal of your
vehicle’s battery.
•Securely connect the BLACK negative (-) booster clamp to a grounding point such as the metal of the
vehicle frame as far away from the battery as possible. DO NOT connect the clamp to the negative (

•Turn the battery safety switch to the ON position. Start your vehicle.
•Once the vehicle has started turn the battery safety switch to the OFF position disconnect the black
booster clamp first and then disconnect the red booster clamp from the battery.
•NOTE: if your vehicle does not start within 10 seconds allow the Jump Starter internal battery to cool for
3 minutes before attempting to start the vehicle again.

•The 12V power port will operate most 12V accessories with a draw of 10 amps or less. When fully
charged the Jump Starter will power a 10 amp accessory for 20-40 minutes a 6 amp accessory for
approximately 40-60 minutes and a 4 amp accessory for approximately 1 ½-2 hours.
•To power your 12V accessory plug the large end in to the 12V power outlet port.

The Jump Starter is equipped with an LED work light. Simply press the light switch to turn the light ON or OFF.

The Jump Starter is equipped with a USB port. Plug the USB end of your adapter into the USB port and press the
USB switch. The USB Indicator light will illuminate.

If the fuse needs to be replaced unscrew the fuse turning the knob counter-clockwise. Gently pull on the fuse
and replace it with a 15 Amp fuse. Insert the fuse gently into the knob and place it back into the fuse
receptacle. Turn the knob clockwise to secure the fuse in place.
