Congratulations on purchasing the VBell DP-104 SIP IP Video Door Phone. This door phone
is suitable for all your business, and home, door entry communication needs.
The DP-104 SIP IP Video Door Phone is easily to setup and configuration via a web browser.
Just using your smartphone or tablet, you can see, answer and talk to visitors who at your
door and open door for them. Whether you are at home or abroad, you can watch and talk
with visitors and open door remotely. Most burglaries happen during the day when no one is
at home. With the VBell DP-104 SIP IP video door phone you can respond to visitors at
anytime and anywhere. Now we provide a new choice of household intercom system for
modern people.

Chapter 1 Introduction
The DP-104 SIP IP Video Door Phone is a new, elegant video door intercom with a compact
shape that has an easy-to-install surface mount. It is development and manufacture by
Avadesign Technology Co., Ltd. and designs with IoT technology and smart home
applications. With the V-Bell IP video door phone, can run on the Internet and smartphone
APP, we provide a new access control system and intercom cloud service which supporting
both video and two-way voice intercom, and remote control to open the door.
If you want to identify who is at your door before you answer the phone or before letting them
in, then the DP-104 IP video door phone is available with a built-in IP camera supporting up to
1280 x 720 HD video. This video can be viewed in a web browser and shows real-time video
on a PC or on a mobile phone/tablet that supports iOS and Android.
Therefore, using your smartphone to talk with visitors who at your door. No indoor intercom is
needed. When the visitor presses the "Call" button of the DP-104 IP video door phone, you
can answer the visitor's call even if you are abroad. You can see the image of the visitor, talk
to the visitor, and open the door for the visitor remotely. It is great for unattended lobbies, front
doors, gates, warehouse doors, or anywhere visitors may require assistance. And whether
you are at home or not, using your smartphone can remote 24-hour monitor your door image
at anytime and anywhere. Now we provide a new choice of household intercom system for
modern people.

Can be combined with the IP Phone as a tool of open door
When the IP video door phone is dialed into the IP-PBX, it rings to the specified IP phone
extension, and the caller opens the door by pressing the key.
COMS 1280 x 720 HD Camera Sensor and 112 degrees Wide Range Video View angle
The DP-104 SIP IP video door phone is a built-in IP camera supporting up to 1280 x 720
high density resolution video. It provides much better image than VGA/D1 (640x480) door
phones. Especially when displayed on middle-to-large size screens, DP-104 shows
clearer images and have no image delays.
Build-in One Relay output port (control door lock or alarm)
The DP-104 SIP IP video door phone build-in one relay output can control the door lock or
connect to an alarm.
Build-in One DI port ( for Door sensor, PIR, Emergency button)
The DP-104 SIP IP video door phone build-in one DI can connect to a door/window
sensor or an emergency button. It can also connect to an infrared sensor for door
intercom application or call help in an emergency situation.
Build-in RFID MiFare Card Reader (Optional)
User can access to the door by Mifare card.
Build-in Power over Ethernet (PoE)(IEEE802.3af ) (optional)
The power of DP-104 SIP IP video door phone is supply by PoE. No external power
adapter is needed.

able to run on the Internet, providing cloud intercom, and with more audio and video services.

1.3 How it works?
Remove your existing doorbell. You will then see at least two wires in your wall. Ignore it.
Connect power adapter to the DP-104 SIP IP Video Door Phone that not build-in PoE to
power it and mount it near to your door. Connect the DP-104 to your Internet router using
Ethernet cable. Done! You will now receive instant alerts with sound on your smartphone or
tablet if someone pushes the call button of DP-104 Door Phone, you can see and talk with
your visitor in real-time.
You can also use your smart phone to remote monitoring the activities at your door.

Chapter 2 How to Install
The V-Bell DP-104 SIP IP Video Door Phonerequires minimal configuration for a typical
installation.
2.1DP-104 Door Phone Installation
2.1.1 Open carton
Open the carton and take out the DP-104 SIP IP Video Door Phone. Your package should
include:
One DP-104 SIP IP Video Door Phone
One Roof for surface-mounted
One Panel for surface-mounted
One DI/DO cable
One connector
Three screws
One Quick Installation Guide
If items are missing or damaged, notify your Avadesign representative. Keep the carton and
packing material.
2.1.2 What else you need？
One external power adapter: OUTPUT: DC 12V 1.0A
One RJ-45 cable
p.s. You also can buy the power adapter from Avadesign Technology Co., Ltd. This is an
optional item.
2.1.3 Remove two stickers
There are two layers of transparent stickers on the surface of DP-104 SIP IP video door
phone. For the voice quality and pressing the “CALL”button smoothly, please remove
the first layer of sticker at first. Then remove the second layer of sticker that shown as .below.

2.1.4 Wiring and mounting on the wall:
Select a location, Surface-mount the DP-104 IP Video Door Phone at desired location.
Feed the Ethernet cable through the cable square hole which dimensions 35 x 35mm
shown as below:
Fix the DP-104 IP video door phone on the wall using a roof or a panel and two screws as
shown the diagrams below:

You can fix the DP-104 IP video door phone on the roof/panel with a screw.
2.1.5 Plug in
Connect RJ-45 cable and power supply to the DP-104 SIP IP video door phone. Then plug
into an available outlet.

2.1.6 Access VBell service
The DP-104 SIP IP Video Door Phone will access the VBell service directly and start to work
automatically.
Now, you can test the DP-104. The DP-104 SIP IP Video Door Phone allows entry with
pressing a key. Caller at the front door and press “CALL” button , person inside the
building can talk to callers, look at caller, then open the door.

2.2 VBell APP Installation and Instructions for use
Next, learn how to install VBell APP on your smartphone / tablet to provide you the intercom
cloud service.
2.2.1 How to Download
You can find Apple Store or Google Play Store on the
screen of your smartphone / tablet. Please download "VBell" APP form Apple store or Google
Play Store.
Please confirm your operating system version of your smartphone / tablet before downloading.
We recommend iOS version 9.0 and above, Android version 5.0 and above.
2.2.1.1 Android Smartphone/ Tablet Download Method
You can find Google Play Store on the screen of your smartphone / tablet.
At first, click “Play Store”icon then please search for “vbell”on following screen.

Then you can install “VBell” on your smartphone.
The screen will show as below:
Please wait a minute for the VBell app file download. The size of VBell app file is 13.33MB.
The screen of your smartphone will show the percentage of downloading. When the
download has completed, you will see the screen as below.

2.2.1.2 iOS Smartphone/ Tablet Download Method
You can find Apple Store on the screen of your smartphone / tablet.
At first, click “Apple Store”icon then please search for “vbell”. Found VBell now! Then please
click “INSTALL” button on the screen of your smartphone. As described in Section 2.2.1.1
above.

Please wait a minute for the VBell app file download. The size of VBell app file is 19.7MB. The
screen of your smartphone will show the percentage of downloading. When the download has
completed, please click “OPEN” button on the screen of your smartphone to create VBell
application.
2.2.2 How to apply for a new account
Now you will see the VBell page as follows.
Please click “New Account”button to create a
new account with free cloud service.
Please input your account name and password
without restriction.
Step 6: When you have finished
the input work, please
click on “Send” button.

success message of a new
account registration on the
screen. And click “Ok”button

Step 9: Please click “I know”button to skip
this page.
Step 10: You need to add your new door
phone. Please click ”Add

bottom of screen.

The account application of the IOS smart phone / tablet is the same as above steps 2 ~ 10.
The color of screen and the type of button are different from Android smart phone. Please
reference to the following screen.
2.2.3 How to add your new door phone

【Remark】If you lost the Quick Installation Guide, please feel free to contact your Avadesign
representative. Tell him/her the MAC number on the bottom of your new door
phone that shown as below. Avadesign representative will provide the Activation
Code for you.

Then you will see the successful information after scanning. Please press “ok”button. At the
same time, you will see the activation code of your new IP door phone display on the screen.
Now you will see the screen as below:
