AvantreeSaturnisa2‐in‐1BluetoothreceiverandtransmitterwhichincorporatesthelatestaptXcodecforlesslatency,
highaudioquality.TheSaturnisverysimpletouse,andcanmakeanyaudiodeviceBluetoothenabled.Itcanbeusedto
enableaphonetotransmitmusictoahomestereosystemorjustaseasily,toallowaCDplayerorotherdeviceto
transmittoaBluetoothspeakersystemorheadphonedevice.Withitscompactdesignanditsabilitytorecharge,this
itemcanbeusedagainandagain,wheneverorwhereveryouwanttouseit.

3.HowtouseSaturnasaTransmitter?
Beforepairing,pleasemakesureyourBluetoothreceiverdevicesupportstruestereoaudio.(SuchasBluetoothstereo
headsetAvantreeSacool,BluetoothspeakerAvantreePlutoAir.)
A. EnsureSaturnisoff,thenpushtheswitchbuttontoTXmode.
B. GetSaturnintopairingmodebypressingandholdingMFBforaround6‐8secondsuntilLEDflashesbluerapidly.
C. GetyourBluetoothstereoreceiverdeviceintopairingmodeatthesametime.
D. ConnectSaturntotheaudiooutputportoftheaudiosourcesuchasyourTV,iPodetc.viatheaudiocable.
E. Keepthemwithin1meter,waituntilbothLEDsslowsdown,whichmeanstheyareconnected.
NOTE:
1) Thepairingmodewilllast2minutes.Saturnwillenterstandbymodeifnodevicescanbeconnectedwith2minutes.
2) SaturncanpairwithstereoBluetoothreceiverdeviceswithPINcode“0000”,“1111”,“8888”or“1234”.
3) PleasedonotchangeTXorRXmodeafterpoweringonSaturn.Whenyouneedtopairanotherdevice,pleaseturn
offthedevicefirstly,thenchoosethemodeyouneed.
4.HowtouseSaturnasaReceiver?
A. EnsureSaturnisoff,thenpushtheswitchbuttontoRXmode.
B. GetSaturnintopairingmodebypressingandholdingtheMFBbuttonforaround6–8secondstillBlueandRedLED
lightblinksquicklyandalternatively.
C. TurnonBluetoothofyoursmart‐phone,searchfor“AvantreeSaturn”,clickonyourphonetoconnect.(E.g.iPhone:
tap“Settings”→“General”→”Bluetooth”→“On”)
D. ConnectSaturntotheaudioinputportofhomehi‐fistereosystemviatheaudiocable.
NOTE:
1) Thepairingmodewilllast2minutes.Thereceiverwillenterstandbymodeifnodevicescanbeconnectedwithin2
minutes.
2) Ifpairingfailed,pleasepoweroffSaturnandpairagainaccordingtoabovementionedprocedures.
3) PleasedonotchangeTXorRXmodeafterpoweringonSaturn.Whenyouneedtopairanotherdevice,pleaseturn
offthedevicefirst,thenchoosethemodeyouneed.
4) WhenSaturnisusedasareceiver,youmayshortpressMFBoncetocontrolpause/playofmusic.
5.PowerOn/Off
PleaseensureSaturnisoff,thenpushtheswitchbuttontothemode(TXorRX)whichyouneed.
TurnOn:PressandholdtheMFBbuttonforabout3secondsuntiltheblueLEDisonfor1second
TurnOff:pressandholdtheMFBbuttonforabout3secondsuntiltheredLEDisonfor1second,andthengooff.
6.Reconnection
Oncebeingpoweredon,Saturnwillreconnectwiththelastconnecteddeviceautomaticallywithin5seconds.Ifnot,
youmaypressMFBoncetostimulatetheprocess.
NOTE:
Saturnwillautomaticallypoweroffifnodevicescanbeconnectedwithin5minutes.
7.GetMaximumStableRange.
Pleasekindlymakesurethereisnoobstacle(wallcorneretc.)betweenreceiverandtransmitter;alsomakethe2
devicesatthesameside.
8.Charging
WhentheLEDblinksred,youshouldrechargethedevice.Itnormallytakesabout3hourstofullychargethebattery.
TheLEDwillstayredwhenchargingandwillturnoffwhenchargingiscomplete.
Chargingrequirement:
YoucanconnectSaturnviathesuppliedMicroUSBcabletoyourownUSBchargers(wallcharger/travelcharger/car
charger,etc.)with5V/500mA‐1AorPCUSBport.It’soktousemostmobilephonechargersonthemarket.
NOTE:
1) Itcanbeusedwhilecharging.
2) TheUSBoutputsofsomeTVsorlaptopsareunstable.Whenusedwhilecharging,wesuggestyouconnecttoawall
chargerinsteadofaUSBport.
3) Ifyouhavenotusedthedeviceforafewmonths,LEDmightnotturnredwhenfirstcharging.Itmighttake15‐35
minutesbeforetheLEDturnsred.
4) Wesuggesttofullychargethedeviceatleasteverytwomonths.
9.Using2SaturnsasaPair
A. PushoneSaturnintoTXmode,pressandholdMFBbuttonuntilLEDflashesbluerapidly;
B. PushanotherSaturnintoRXmode,pressandholdMFBbuttonuntilLEDflashesredandbluealternatively.
C. Keepthemwithin1meterandwaitforaround7seconds,untiltheLEDbeginstoflashslowly,whichmeansthey
arenowpairedandconnected.
D. ConnecttheTXonetosoundsourcesuchasTV,MP3,games,etc.andtheothertothereceivingitem,suchasa
speakerorheadphones.
10.RestoreFactoryDefaultSettings
YoumayneedtoresetSaturnifitisnotworkingasexpected.WhenSaturnisresettofactorydefaultsettings,allthe
pairedmobilephoneinformationwillbeerased.
EnsureSaturnisoff,pressandholdMFBbuttonforaround10–12secondsuntilREDandBLUELEDsarebothonfor1
second.Saturnnowhasbeenresettoitsoriginalsettings.Afterbeingpoweredonagain,itwillenterpairingmode
directly.
