AVerIR Set Up (optional installation features)
The remote control is compatible with Microsoft Vista Media Center Edition. If you want to use the
remote control on Windows Vista Media Center, you need to install the driver with AVerIR function
and set Windows Vista Media Center as the default TV application. To activate the AVerIR function,
please visit AVerMedia website(http://www.avermedia.com)for the most updated driver and follow
the steps below:
Install the AVerIR
1. Download the driver with AVerIR function according to your device model from AVerMedia
website.
2. Double-click the name of the .exe file you downloaded to install the driver
Note: It will overwrite your existing driver.
3. If installation success, you can see an added “AVerMedia Infrared Receiver” item in Device
Manager.
4. Right-click AVerQuick, choose “Setting”, and select the preferred application in the
“Application” tab. Then you can use the remote control packaged with AVerMedia product to
remote the Windows Media Center.
Uninstall the AVerIR
If you want to remove the AVerIR function, do the following:
1. Go to Control Panel>Program and Features.
2. Select “AVerMedia H777 Hybrid DVB-T” and click Uninstall/Change.
3. Then you need to install the driver without AVerIR function again to work AVerMedia device
normally.
NOTE:
If you reinstall the driver without AVerIR function without removing the driver with
AVerIR first, this may cause a device manager error from can not find the AVerIR
device, so we recommend to uninstall the driver with AVerIR first.

(1) Turn on/off the application. If the computer is on, put the computer in standby mode.
(2) Turn off/on the sound. Turn off/on the sound.

(15) Move backwards in intervals. Rewind currently playing media; if pressed repeatedly, it cycles
to 3 rewind speeds from slowest to fastest
(16) Skip forward in intervals. Speed up currently playing media; if pressed repeatedly, it
cycles to 3 fast forward speeds from slowest to fastest

-Go to the next item in the playlist.
-Stand By / Hibernate mode, exit the
application or turn off the computer.
For Playlist, skip to the next item.
For Recorded TV, skip ahead of 29 sec.
(18) Stop the playback, recording, TimeShift, etc. Stop currently playing media.
(19) Switch fromreal-time TV or Radio to TimeShift mode. Pause
(20) Activate the Picture in Picture (PIP) / Multi-Channel
