IMPORTANT NOTES:
The document is divided into chapters depends on the console type or TNP and
motherboard installed in the console or TNP.
Read the relevant section of this document at least once before starting the installation.
If in doubt contact your reseller or Avolites for support direct.
Perform the upgrade in an area with good work lighting and clear working space.
Have a small container handy to put screws in as you remove them.
Please note that it is possible that your console does not have a motherboard listed below,
this can be because the original MB had failed, and the original MB was not available
anymore. In this case contact Avolites direct to establish which kit you may need.
After the installation of the Avokey you can use the console as normal with software
versions before V12. In order to use V12 you will need to download it and install as per
normal, this is then followed by the “authentication” process to licence the console or TNP
for V12. This only needs to happen once.
See the V12 installation notes for further information
Console an and TNP licenses are Hardware locked, therefore once authenticated against a
specific console or TNP the dongle will only work in that product.

using and anti-static strap connected to
the console or by touching the internal
metal PSU housing when working inside
the console like connecting the AvoKey

2. Tiger Touch Pro
Fujitsu D3243 (F-V10 upgraded units)
Place the console on a stable base
Assure that the Console is not connected to the mains supply
Open the console by removing the three screws at the front edge of the console, these
screws may be No.2 Pozi drive or T20 Torx, lift the front and hook the stand on the right
side of the console to the moulding fixing.
Locate the USB Hub board near the front edge
Consoles with the UPS Board fitted
Check if the UPS board USB connection is directly to the MB
If it is directly connected to the MB, go to step xx
2.1 U-UPS connected to the U-Hub
UPS board USB connected to U-HUB PCB
A. Unscrew the two fixings then remove the cable retention comb
B. Disconnect UPS USB cable from USB-6 port
C. Re-fit the cable retention comb and secure with the retained fixings (M3x12
screw, spring washer & flat washer). Push the comb in the direction of the arrows
before tighten the screws

C. Re-fix the PWM Loom (grey ) to the safety frame with cable ties

D. Unplug the UPS USB cable from U-UPS board (or DC-UPS-C board) and discard
the cable

E. Locate the Hub USB cable on the MB, (this cable can be black or Grey with a
10way between the PSU and the MB
F. Cut the two cable ties holding this cable
G. Disconnect the 2x5 USB connector from the motherboard port
H. Locate the other side of this cable on the U-HUB board and disconnect
I. Cut the cable-ties (arrows) then remove the UPS USB cable and discard the cable

J. Locate the 2xUSB2 port on motherboard
K. Connect supplied 10Way USB to Type B and U-HUB feed cable ( 2x5 connector side
to located the 2xUSB2 port on motherboard with the Red wires up

L. Cable-tie connected cable with the IO cable to the motherboard frame as shown
below, make sure it does not protrude more than 12.5mm (1/2”) above the frame
M. Route 10way USB to Type B and U-HUB feed cable under the USB cable bundle
N. Connect 10way USB to Type B and U-HUB feed cable ( USB-B type end) to U-UPS
board (or DC-UPS-C board)
O. Place the cable excess of the UPS connection under the U-UPS board (arrow)

P. Connect 2x5 connector end from 10way USB to Type B and U-HUB feed cable
to the IDC3 port on U-HUB with the red wire towards the back
Q. Secure the cable with 2x cable-ties to the safety frame
R. Locate Blue colour USB3.0 port on motherboard (near the ATX connector)
S. Plug the AvoKey stick into the located USB3.0 port
T. Close the console with previously removed M4 screws

3. Relicensing
You will now need to relicense your console. During the working week most licenses are
returned within hours of the request, but if you are in special need of a fast licence turnaround
you should contact [e-mail], or call [phone] between 9am and
5pm UK Time and we will endeavour to ensure you receive your licence in the shortest possible
time.
4. Letting us know
We care about our products, and therefore we want to know as much as we can about each
console that we have made. This upgrade is major and we want to keep track of that. So email
us the details as listed below so we can update our records.
