Determining the width of Solidare Verso under a patio canopy
Patio canopy, no angled frame
Patio canopy, one-sided angled frame
Mounting bracket by the angled frame must be flush with inside of girder. Because of the different
widths of Piazza and Stanza girders, the cut-off sizes will differ.

Determining projection Solidare Verso
Use the Excel file to determine the projection of the Solidare Verso under the Piazza or Stanza (ask our
sales department) or calculate the projection using the formula below. Fill in for a° the angle of the
canopy.
ATTENTION: When using the formula there is 3 mm margin between the Solidare Verso and the post. If
you prefer a greater margin, take a larger cut-off size for the projection of the canopy (167 mm for the
Piazza or 153 mm for the Stanza).
Projection Solidare Verso=(projection Piazza - 167 mm)/cos a° -(tan a° * 99 mm)+(tan a° * 34 mm)
Projection Solidare Verso=(projection Piazza - 153 mm)/cos a° -(tan a° * 99 mm)+(tan a° * 34 mm)

Place the bearing cap as shown in the picture.
Assembly of fabric roller
Fitting the bearing cap
Attaching the fabric to the tube
Positioning the pulley wheel
Align the front of the pulley wheel with the front surface of the
bearing cap as shown in the picture. Then fasten the pulley wheel
with the two Allen screws and the adjusting screw.
File the fabric slot of the steel roller to allow the
fabric to be easily pulled into the slot. Slide the
fabric tendons into the fabric. Pull the fabric into
the fabric slot of the tube and roller and roll the
fabric up along the top. If necessary, use silicone
spray to allow the fabric to slide more easily into
the fabric slot.
Slide the pulley wheels on both sides of the fabric roller, but
do not fasten them yet.

Placing the motor
Place the motor in the tube as shown in
the picture.
Align the front of the pulley wheel with the front
surface of the bearing cap as shown in the picture.
Then fasten the pulley wheel with the two Allen
screws and the adjusting screw.
Positioning the pulley wheel
Thread the cord through the hole in the cord pulley wheel and secure it
with a double knot. Then roll the cord in the opposite direction to the
fabric neatly around the cord pulley wheel four rotations.

Assembly of front bar
Fitting the plastic end caps
Screw on the plastic end caps for zipper fabric
with 3.5 x 32 mm self-tapping screws
(countersunk head/cross-head).
Place the springs in the front bar and slide the support
blocks over the springs and screw them into place with
4.2 x 13 mm self-tapping screws (2 screws per spring).
Fastening the springs
Attaching stickers strips
Attach the cord tensioner stickers to the
inside of the front bar as shown in the
picture. Place the red line on the stickers
at the right distance from the side
of the front bar. (56 cm for short
spring, 91 cm for long spring).
Hook in the front bar sealing profile and screw it on through
the drilled hole using a self-tapping
screw 3.5 x 32 mm.
