digital scale. Please read all operating
instructions carefully before use.
Scales
are
precision
instruments and should
always
be
handled with proper
care.
To
ensure
years
of
reliable service, keep these
simple
tips
in mind:
•
Do
not
exceed
the
scales
maximum
capacity.
Overloading
your
scale can permanently
damage
it!
• Avoid exposure
to
extreme
heat
or
cold.
Scales
perform
best
at
normal room temperature.
temperatures
have
changed dramatically, recalibration
may
be
necessary.
•
Allow
your
scale to
warm
up
for
30-60
seconds
before performing calibration (if available).
• Store
your
scale in a clean, dry location. Dust, dirt,
and moisture can accumulate
on
the
weighing sensors
and
electronics causing innacuracy
or
malfunction.
• Avoid using
your
scale
in
close proximity to strong
radio
wave
emitting devices such
as
computers, cash
registers,
and
cordless phones.
•
Always
weigh
on a flat
andlevel
surface, free
from
vibrations
and
drafts.
The
corner
of
a
room
is usually
the
most
stable.
•
Gently
apply all
items
to
be
weighed.
Do
not drop
items
onto
the
weighing platform.
• Avoid droooino
your
scale.

MOUSE
OPERATION
This
device
is plug-and-play, designed
to
work
without
the
need
for
installing drivers.
1. Plug the small end
of
the
included
USB
cable
into
the
Mouse
Scale.
2. Insert the
large
end
of
the
USB
cable into an
open
USB
port on
your
computer.
3.
The
computer
should recognize
the
new
input
device
momentarily and begin working.
NOTE:
You
should
leave
the
Mouse
Scale
plugged
into
your
USB
port
for
one
hour
to
fully
charge
before
using
the
scale
unplugged.

SCALE
OPERATION
Place
the
scale
on
a horizontal
flat
surface.
1. Press [
(I)
Ikey.
2. Wait until "0.0"
or
is displayed.
3. Place the object(s) on
the
weighing platform.
4. By pressing
the
[ M I key,
you
can switch between
weighing
units.
5. The removable cover can also be used
as
a
weighing tray.
6.
To
turn
the
scale off,
press
and
hold
the
[
(I)
I key.

WEIGHING
1. Turn
on
the
scale
as
described above.
2. Place a
tray
or
container
on
the
scale platform.
3. Press [(I)Ibriefly,
then
release. "0.0" will be
displayed.
4. You can
now
add
items
to
the
container
or
tray to
obtain just
the
weight
of
the
contents.
5. When
the
container is removed, a negative number
will be dlsplayed. Press
[(I»)
agaln to zero
the
scale.

CALISRATION
This scale has come pre-calibrated at the factory. Only
re-calibrate ifyou are experiencing trouble weighing.
MSC-100
uses
a
100g
calibration
weighl
MSC-600
uses
a 500g
ca
libration
weighl

MSC-100
Calibration:
1. Turn the scale OFF.
2. While holding
the
[M
) key,
tap the
[(I)
I key to turn
the scale on then release both keys.
3. The display will
show
a random number, press the
[M)
key again.
4. The display will flash "100.00". Place the required
on
the
platform and wait
for
3 seconds.
display will
show
"PASS" and "100.00". Remove
the weight and press [(I)Ito turn
the
scale off.
Calibration is complete!

Calibratlon:
1. Turn
the
scale OFF.
2. While holding the
[M)
key, tap
the
[(I»)
key

The display will
show

"Zero" followed "500.0". Place
the required weight on the platform Ihen press the

TROUBLESHOOTING
The primary reasons for inaccuracy or malfunction
are low batteries. incorrect calibration. overload or
operating on an unstable surtace. Please keep this
in
mind and maintain and operate your scale properly.
This scale is a precise instrument and must be
handled
