2 (9) Manual VAKA Reservation

Introduction
VAKA reservation is used to temporarily grant certain users access to rooms, such
as laundry rooms or saunas. The users must reserve a shift to be able to use their
tags to open the doors to the reserved room. For VAKAreservations, a few rules
are set in the software such as how long each interval is and how often they can
be reserved. The reservation function is web based which allows reservation to be
made from a web browser, not just the reservation panels.
The manual "VAKA Reservation User Guide" is designed for customers and their
users.
Technical conditions
The reservation panels are powered via PoE and communicates with a B60 via net-
work, either to the WAN or LAN side of the B60. B60 has a DHCP server which can
be activated on the LAN side to distribute IP addresses between 10.0.0.11 and
10.0.0.20.

Mounting
The reservation panel should be mounted with its locks on the top, with some
space above, in a room where the temperature does not exceed 50 °C or under-
cuts 0 °C and preferably where it is not exposed to direct sun light. Recommenced
mounting height is 140-150 cm. With acceptability in mind, the reservation panel
should be mounted with a slight upwards tilt 90-100 cm above the floor.
To access the PoE connector and mounting holes the shell must be removed. The
shell is removed by unlocking the two locks and tilting the shell forward. If the shell
has to be removed when the panel is mounted it should be slowly tilted until it could
rest perpendicular to the rest of the panel.
