Ifthecameraismountedsothatyoucannotlooattheimageandaccessthelensatthesame
time,usetheFocusAssistant,seeFocusassistantforoptionallensesonpage20.

1.GotoSettings>Image>Focus.
2.ClicFine-tune.
3.Adjusttheautofocusareatocoverthepartoftheimagethatyouwanttobeinfocus.
Ifyoudon’tselectanautofocusarea,thecamerafocusesontheentirescene.We
recommendthatyoufocusonastaticobject.
4.ClicResetfocus.
5.Loosenthezoomandfocuspullersonthelensbyturningthemcounter-clocwise.
6.Movethezoomandfocusringtosetzoomandfocusandchectheimagequalityin

8.Iftheimagefocushasslightlychangedwhiletighteningthezoomandfocuspullers,

9.Ifyouwanttoslightlyadjustthefocusposition,movetheFocuspositionslider.

•Theviewinfrontofthecamerashouldnotbechangedduringfocusadjustment(steps
5and6).Ifthecameraismoved,orifangerorotherobjectisplacedinfrontofthe
lens,steps3–7willhavetoberepeated.
•Ifmovementsinfrontofthecameracannotbeavoided,theFocusAssistantshouldnot
beused.
•Ifthecameraismountedsothatthefunctionbuttoncannotbeaccessed,youcanstill
usetheFocusAssistant.Followtheinstructionsbelowbutmountthecameraafterstep
4,pressingthefunctionbuttoninsteadandsipstep7.
TofocusyournetworcamerausingtheFocusAssistant,followsteps1–4underAdjustzoomand
focusforoptionallensesonpage20beforeyoustartwiththestepsbelow.
1.Mountorplacethecamerasothatitcannotbemoved.
2.Loosenthezoompullerbyturningitcounter-clocwise.Movethepullertosetthe
zoomlevel.Re-tightenthezoompuller.
3.Setthecameratoitsextremedistant-focuspositionbylooseningthelocscrewforthe
focusringandturningthefocusringfullycounter-clocwise.
