7 Technical description
This device is equipped with a Hall sensor and provide continuous information about the battery
status.
The following values can be shown on the display:
• Remaining battery capacity (%) and (Ah)
• Flowing current (A)
• Battery voltage (V)
• Remaining battery running time (h) (with current consumption)

8.1 Mounting the device
A
1. Disconnect the positive connector from the battery.
2. Remove all cables from the positive connector.
3. Guide through all positive cables in the Hall sensor opening.
4. Connect the positive connector to the battery.

5. Install the wall mounting box to the sufficiently hard surface and secure with 4 screws.

6. Connect the cable to the battery monitor display and the Hall sensor.
Install the device as illustrated (fig. 3, page 5).
7. Install the battery monitor display into the mounting box and secure with 4 screws.
8. Connect the red wiring to the battery positive connector and the blue wiring to the battery
negative connector.
NOTICE! Damage hazard
Before drilling any holes, make sure that no electrical cables or other parts of the vehi-
cle can be damaged by drilling, sawing and filing.
NOTE
Make sure the arrow with the positive symbol(+) on the Hall sensor is facing to the bat-
tery positive connector.
NOTE
Optionally the Hall sensor can be installed to the negative side also. That time make
sure the arrow with the negative symbol (-) on the Hall sensor facing to the battery neg-
ative connector.
NOTE
The battery monitor display can be installed directly into the wall if it has sufficiently
sturdy surface.

9 Setting up the device
9.1 Quick Overview
I
The device is automatically detected the operational voltage (12V or 24V).
9.2 Battery type selection
1. Push and hold the button (fig. 2, 1) for 5 seconds to enter the setup menu.
2. Push the button to navigate in the setup menu.
3. Select the BatTyp and push and hold the button for 5 seconds to adjust the battery type.
4. Push the button to select the correct battery type.
5. Wait for about 10 seconds.
✔The battery type is stored.
9.3 Battery capacity selection
1. Push and hold the button (fig. 2, 1) for 5 seconds to enter the setup menu.
2. Push the button to navigate in the setup menu.
3. Select the BatCap and push and hold the button for 5 seconds to adjust the battery capacity.
4. Push the button to select the nominal battery capacity.

9.4 Hall sensor calibration

1. Push and hold the button (fig. 2, 1) for 5 seconds to enter the setup menu.
2. Push the button to navigate in the setup menu.
3. Select the RESET 0.0A and push and hold the button until the OK is displayed.
4. Wait for about 10 seconds.
✔The Hall sensor is successfully calibrated.
10 Using the device
10.1 Switching On/Off
➤Push the button (fig. 2, 1) to turn on the device.

➤Push the button (fig. 2, 1) to switch between the displayed values.

• The remaining battery capacity (Ah).
• The remaining battery capacity (%).
NOTE
• Keep the button pressed to change the values more quickly.
• Settable capacity between 10 Ah - 999Ah.
NOTE
• The calibration is only necessary if there is definitely no current flowing and the dis-
play does not show 0.0 A.
• Make sure no consumers can draw current from the battery. If necessary, remove
the cables from the Hall sensor opening.
NOTE
• If the button (fig. 2, 1) is inactive for 30 seconds, the display back light turns off.
• If the button (fig. 2, 1) is inactive for 120 min, the display turns to standby mode.
The measurement continues in the background and is indicated by the Pflashing
symbol.
NOTE
If the display back light is off, the firs press only turns on the back light and the second
press switches the value.

The device is maintenance-free.
➤Occasionally clean the product with a damp cloth.
12 Troubleshooting
NOTE
• If the remaining running time is greater than 7 days, the display shows: >>>.
• The smallest value is 0:05h.
•2d:15h means 2 days and 15 hours.
NOTE
When power is drawing from the battery, the flowing current (A) is negative "-".

13 Warranty
The statutory warranty period applies. If the product is defective, please contact your retailer or the
manufacturer's branch in your country (see dometic.com/dealer).
For repair and warranty processing, please include the following documents when you send in the
product:
• A copy of the receipt with purchasing date
• A reason for the claim or description of the fault
Note that self-repair or nonprofessional repair can have safety consequences and might void the
warranty.

ser Anleitung geeignet.

7 Technische Beschreibung
Das Gerät ist mit einem Hallsensor ausgestattet und stellt fortlaufend Informationen über den Bat-
teriezustand bereit.
Auf der Anzeige können folgende Werte angezeigt werden:
• Restkapazität der Batterie (%) und (Ah)
• Fließender Strom (A)

Die elektrische Installation und Einrichtung des Geräts müssen von einer qualifizier-
ten Elektrofachkraft durchgeführt werden, der seine Fähigkeiten und Kenntnisse im
Zusammenhang mit dem Aufbau und der Bedienung von elektrischen Geräten und
Installationen unter Beweis gestellt hat und der mit den geltenden Vorschriften des
Landes, in dem das Gerät installiert und/oder verwendet werden soll, vertraut ist
und eine Sicherheitsschulung erhalten hat, um die damit verbundenen Gefahren zu
erkennen und zu vermeiden.

8.1 Gerät montieren

1. Trennen Sie den Plusanschluss von der Batterie.
2. Entfernen Sie alle Kabel vom Plusanschluss.
3. Führen Sie alle Pluskabel durch die Öffnung des Hallsensors.
4. Schließen Sie den Plusanschluss an die Batterie an.

5. Montieren Sie den Wandmontagekasten auf einer ausreichend harten Oberfläche und befesti-
gen Sie ihn mit 4 Schrauben.
WARNUNG! Gefahr durch Stromschlag
Die Installation darf nur durch einen qualifizierten Elektriker durchgeführt werden.

ACHTUNG! Beschädigungsgefahr
Vor dem Anbringen von Bohrungen ist sicherzustellen, dass keine elektrischen Kabel
oder andere Teile des Fahrzeugs durch Bohren, Sägen und Feilen beschädigtwerden
können.
HINWEIS
Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Pfeil mit dem Plussymbol (+) am Hallsensor zum Plusan-
schluss der Batterie zeigt.
HINWEIS
Optional kann der Hallsensor auch auf der Minusseite montiert werden. Stellen Sie
dann sicher, dass der Pfeil mit dem Minuszeichen (-) am Hallsensor zum Minusan-
schluss der Batterie zeigt.
