IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances especially when children are present, basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of re, electric shock, and/or
injury to persons, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use any handles or knobs. Parts become hot during
use.
3. To protect against electrical shock, do not place cord, plug or appliance in water or
other liquid.
4. This appliance should not be used by children. Close supervision is necessary
when any appliance is operated near children.
5. Do not leave appliance unattended while in use.
6. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before
cleaning and putting on or taking off parts.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance
malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest
authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
8. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer
may result in re, electrical shock or injury.
9. Do not use outdoors.
10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
11. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
12. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil, water
or other hot liquids.
13. Always attach magnetic plug to appliance rst, then plug cord into the wall outlet.
To disconnect, remove plug from the wall outlet, then remove magnetic plug from
the appliance.
14. Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
15. Be sure Rosettes are properly attached to handle before using. See page 5 for
detailed instructions.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
PRODUCT MAY VARY SLIGHTLY FROM ILLUSTRATIONS
This appliance is for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. It may be plugged into an AC electrical outlet
(ordinary household current). Do not use any other electrical outlet.
CORD PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of
electric shock, this plug is intended to t into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does
not t into the outlet, reverse the plug and try again. If it still does not t, contact a qualied
electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it rmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion marks. If any are found,
this indicates that the appliance should be serviced and the line cord replaced.
5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could place undue stress on the
cord where it enters the appliance and cause it to fray and break.
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from
entanglement or tripping over a longer cord. Longer detachable power-supply cords or
extension cords are not recommended for use with this product.
DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE LINE CORD SHOWS ANY DAMAGE, OR IF
APPLIANCE WORKS INTERMITTENTLY OR STOPS WORKING ENTIRELY.
IMPORTANT
During the rst few minutes of initial use, you may notice smoke and/or a slight odor. This is
normal and should quickly disappear. It will not recur after appliance has been used a few
more times.

BEFORE USING
Solid surface countertops can be easily scratched, cracked, scorched, or damaged, especially
when exposed to heat. To prevent damage, the following precautions should be observed
when using this product:
• Always use a trivet under heat generating sources such as Slow Cookers, Toaster Ovens,
Skillets, Deep Fryers, Treat Makers, etc.
Carefully unpack the funnel cake maker and all parts. Remove all packaging materials,
including any stickers or labels. Clean the interior and exterior surfaces of the funnel cake
maker with a damp cloth or sponge. Wipe dry with a soft cloth. NEVER IMMERSE THE
FUNNEL CAKE MAKER OR CORD IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID. Position the
funnel cake maker on a dry, level, heat-resistant surface. It is recommended to operate this
appliance on a separate outlet and circuit from other appliances to avoid overloading the
circuit.
Attach the pwer cord to the unit by aligning the magnetic plug end of the cord assembly with
the two electrical pins located in the recessed area of the base. When properly aligned, the
plug will magnetically attach itself to the appliance. For proper connection, the magnetic plug
end must be parallel with the countertop.
Important: The magnetic cord was designed to detach easily from the funnel cake maker. As
a result, if it is bumped or touched during use it could possibly detach causing the unit to stop
heating. Avoid contact with cord during operation. If contact occurs, verify that the cord is still
properly connected.
HOW TO MAKE FUNNEL CAKES
1. Position the funnel cake maker on a dry, level, heat-resistant surface.
2. Attach the magnetic plug to the appliance and plug the power cord into a 120V outlet,
preferably on a separate outlet from other appliances to prevent the circuit from being
overloaded.
3. Fill the funnel cake maker with 4 cups of vegetable oil. DO NOT FILL PAST THE MAX
FILL LINE.
4. Turn temperature to the desired setting. Suggested temperature is 375°for funnel cakes.
NOTE: Power Indicator Light will be illuminated indicating the power is on.
5. Allow the oil to heat for approximately 10 minutes. Prepare your funnel cake batter while
the funnel cake maker is heating.
6. Using the provided batter bottle, ll with approximately 1 cup of prepared batter. Starting
in the center, squeeze the batter into the oil in a circular motion, moving outward to create
a 6 or 7 inch round funnel cake.
7. Fry in the oil for approximately 1-3 minutes on each side or until batter is completely
browned on both sides.
8. Using the drip-through spoon and tongs, remove the funnel cake and place on paper
towels to drain excess oil.
TIP: Sprinkle powdered sugar or desired toppings while hot.
9. Repeat steps 5-8 for remaining batter.
10. Allow funnel cakes to cool and serve.
11. When nished cooking, remove plug from wall outlet and allow the appliance to cool
before moving, cleaning or storing. CAUTION: DO NOT REMOVE OIL WHILE HOT.
ALLOW FUNNEL CAKE MAKER TO COOL COMPLETELY BEFORE MOVING OR
DRAINING OIL.
HOW TO MAKE ROSETTE COOKIES
1. Position the funnel cake maker on a dry, level, heat-resistant surface.
2. Properly attach the Rosette Iron with the Handle before use.
3. Attach the magnetic plug to the appliance and plug the power cord into a 120V outlet,

preferably on a separate outlet from other appliances to prevent the circuit from being
overloaded.
4. Fill the funnel cake maker with 4 cups of vegetable oil. DO NOT FILL PAST THE MAX
FILL LINE.
5. Turn temperature to the desired setting. Suggested temperature is 375°for rosette
cookies. NOTE: Power Indicator Light will be illuminated indicating the power is on.
6. Allow the oil to heat for approximately 10 minutes. Prepare your rosette batter while the
funnel cake maker is heating.
7. Take the rosette iron by the handle and dip in the oil to heat for approximately 10 seconds.
This will help keep the fried rosettes from sticking to the rosette iron once fried.
8. Remove the rosette iron from the oil and dip hot iron in prepared batter. Be careful not
to fully immerse the rosette iron in the batter or allow batter to come up over the top of
the rosette iron.
9. Holding the handle, place the rosette iron in the oil for approximately 30 seconds or until
batter is golden brown.
10. Remove from the oil and carefully remove fried batter from the rosette iron with a small
utensil. DO NOT USE FINGERS. Place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
TIP: Sprinkle powdered sugar or desired toppings while hot.
11. Repeat steps 5-8 for remaining batter.
12. Allow rosette cookies to cool and serve.
13. When nished cooking, remove plug from wall outlet and allow the appliance to cool
before moving, cleaning or storing. CAUTION: DO NOT REMOVE OIL WHILE HOT.
ALLOW FUNNEL CAKE MAKER TO COOL COMPLETELY BEFORE MOVING OR
DRAINING OIL.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try
to repair it yourself.
1. Before cleaning, unplug from outlet and allow to cool completely. Oil retains its
temperature for a long period of time after use. Do not attempt to move the funnel cake
maker while it is still hot.
2. After unit and oil has cooled competely, empty cooking oil, or cover with storage lid.
3. Wash unit and accessories with warm water and mild detergent, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
NEVER IMMERSE THE FUNNEL CAKE MAKER OR CORD IN WATER OR ANY
OTHER LIQUID. Do not place in the dishwasher.
4. NEVER USE ABRASIVE CLEANERS OR SCOURING PADS TO CLEAN THE FUNNEL
CAKE MAKER, AS THOSE MAY DAMAGE THE SURFACES.
To store, be sure all parts are clean and dry. Store appliance in its box or in a clean, dry
place. Never store it while it is hot or wet. Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance; keep
it loosely coiled.

RECIPES
Funnel Cakes
Ingredients:
• 3 eggs
• 2 cups milk
• ¼ cup sugar
• 3 ½ cups our
• ½ tsp salt
• 2 tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp ground cinnamon
• Powdered sugar for topping
Directions:
1. Add milk, sugar and eggs to bowl and beat well. Set aside.
2. In separate bowl mix our, salt, baking powder and ground cinnamon.
3. Add dry mixture to the wet mixture and mix.
4. Using the provided batter bottle, ll with approximately 1 cup of prepared batter.
Starting in the center, squeeze the batter into the oil in a circular motion, moving
outward to create a 6 or 7 inch round funnel cake.
5. Fry in the oil for approximately 1-3 minutes on each side or until batter is completely
browned on both sides.
6. Using the drip-through spoon and and tongs, remove the funnel cake and place on
paper towels to drain excess oil.
7. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or desired toppings and serve.
Makes about 6 funnel cakes
Tip: Top with cinnamon-sugar, fruit, chocolate syrup or any desired toppings!
Chocolate Funnel Cakes
Ingredients:
• 3 eggs
• 2 cups milk
• ¼ cup sugar
• 3 ½ cups our
• ½ tsp salt
• 2 tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp vanilla
• 2 tbsp cocoa powder
• Powdered sugar for topping
Directions:
1. Add milk, sugar, eggs and vanilla to bowl and beat well. Set aside.
2. In separate bowl mix our, salt, baking powder and cocoa powder.
3. Add dry mixture to the wet mixture and mix.
4. Using the provided batter bottle, ll with approximately 1 cup of prepared batter.
Starting in the center, squeeze the batter into the oil in a circular motion, moving
outward to create a 6 or 7 inch round funnel cake.
5. Fry in the oil for approximately 1-3 minutes on each side or until batter is completely
browned on both sides.
6. Using the drip-through spoon and and tongs, remove the funnel cake and place on

Fried Churros
Ingredients:
• 1 cup water
• ½ cup butter
• 2 tbsp brown sugar
• ½ tsp kosher salt
• ¼ tsp vanilla
• 1 cup our
• Cinnamon-sugar for topping
Directions:
1. In saucepan add water, butter, brown sugar, kosher salt and vanilla. Heat to a rolling
boil.
2. Remove from heat and add our, mixing well.
3. Fill the batter bottle with dough.
4. Squeeze some dough into the oil a couple of inches in length and cut dough.
5. Fry in the oil for approximately 1 minute on each side or until browned evenly.
6. Using the drip-through spoon, remove the fried churros and place on paper towels
to drain excess oil.
7. Roll in a cinnamon-sugar mix and serve.
Makes about 12 fried churros
Fried Rosette Cookies
Ingredients:
• 2 eggs
• 1 egg yolk
• 1 cup milk
• ⅓ cup sugar
• 1 cup our
• ¼ tsp salt
• 1 tsp vanilla
• ½ tsp ground cinnamon
• Powdered sugar for topping
Directions:
1. Add milk, sugar, vanilla, eggs and egg yolk to bowl and beat well.
2. Add our, salt and ground cinnamon. Mix well.
3. Take the rosette iron by the handle and dip in the oil to heat for approximately 10
seconds.
4. Remove the rosette iron from the oil, drain and dip hot iron in prepared batter. Be
careful not to fully immerse the rosette iron in the batter or allow batter to come up
over the top of the rosette iron.
5. Holding the handle, place the rosette iron in the oil for approximately 30 seconds or
until batter is golden brown.
6. Remove from the oil and carefully remove fried batter from the rosette iron with a
small utensile. Place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
7. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
Makes about 50 rosette cookies

Simple Cronuts
Ingredients:
• 2 cans crescent dinner rolls
• Desired toppings and / or lling
Directions:
1. Separate crescent rolls into 8 rectangles. Press perforations to seal sections
together. Stack 2 rectangles on top of each other and fold in half. Repeat with
remaining rectangles.
2. Use a 3-inch biscuit cutter to cut 1 round from each stack.
3. Fry in hot oil for 1 ½ minutes on each side or until browned evenly.
4. Using the drip-through spoon, remove the cronuts and place on paper towels to
drain excess oil.
5. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or desired toppings and serve.
Makes about 6 cronuts
Fillings: Take vanilla or chocolate pudding and inject into the fried dough for a lled cronut.
Toppings: Top with cinnamon-sugar, caramel, chocolate, glaze, frosting or any desired
toppings.

of purchase, this product will be free from mechanical defects for a period of one (1) year.

during the warranty period. Should this product become defective by reason of improper
workmanship or material defect during the specied warranty period, Select Brands, Inc. will
repair or replace the same effecting all necessary parts replacements for a period of one year
from the date of purchase. Transportation charges on parts, or products in whole, submitted
for repair or replacement, under this warranty, must be borne by the purchaser.
CONDITIONS: This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial
retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is
required to obtain warranty service or replacement. Dealers, service centers, or retail stores
do not have the right to alter, modify or in any way, change the terms and conditions of this
warranty. Warranty registration is not necessary to obtain warranty on Select Brands, Inc.
products. Save your proof of purchase receipt.
ABOUT YOUR PRODUCT WARRANTY: Most warranty repairs are handled routinely, but
sometimes requests for warranty service may not be appropriate. For example, warranty
service would NOT apply if the product damage occurred because of misuse, lack of routine
maintenance, shipping, handling, warehousing or improper installation. Similarly, the warranty
is void if the manufacturing date or the serial number on the product has been removed or the
equipment has been altered or modied. During the warranty period, the authorized service
dealer, at its option, will repair or replace any part that, upon examination, is found to be
defective under normal use and service.
NORMAL WEAR: This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting
from any of the following: Negligent use or misuse of the product; Improper voltage or current;
Use contrary to the operation instructions; Deviation from instructions regarding storage
and transportation; Repair or alteration by anyone other than SELECT BRANDS, INC. or an
authorized service center. Further, the warranty does not cover Acts of God, such as re,
ood, hurricanes and tornadoes.
SELECT BRANDS, INC. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages
caused by the breach of any express or implied warranty. Except to the extent prohibited
by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or tness for a particular purpose
is limited in duration to the duration of the above warranty. Some states, provinces or
jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental o consequential damages or
limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusion may
not apply to you. This warranty gives you specic legal rights, and you may also have other
rights that vary from state to state or province to province.

to resolve warranty issues over the phone. If telephone resolution is not possible, the

procedures. This warranty is effective for the time periods listed above and subject to the
