INTRODUCTION
Personal posture trainer BACKBRO is a great daily assistant to remind you to sit
up straight. This device is perfect for people who work with a computer.
BACKBRO is an electronic device for daily use that is placed on a neck. The
design and positioning of the device gives the user the ability to train not only
spinal muscles but also neck muscles on a daily basis. BACKBRO helps the user
to get the right posture, therefore, increasing self-confidence and self-awareness,
while also reducing the potential spine, vascular, and respiratory problems in the
future.
We recommend an active lifestyle. Regularly stretch your muscles, exercise in
between work. BACKBRO personal posture trainer does not replace physical
activities.
BACKBRO brand and devices are made in Latvia by SIA “Emelat” (registration
number 42403047948).
PACKAGE
Do not damage the packaging when unpacking, as it is intended for further
storage and transport of BACKBRO. The package contains one BACKBRO
personal posture trainer and one micro-USB charging cable. The package

To prevent the device’s direct contact with the user's skin, it is placed in a skin
safe genuine leather cover which is not removable or changeable.
FIRST USE
Place the BACKBRO on your neck and feel how the device fits your neck. If it is
too tight or you feel a pressure, remove it and bend the strap of the device so
that its curvature gets smaller or the radius of curvature increases. Place again
and check for comfort. If the device does not fit your neck and is too loose,
remove it from the neck and bend the strap of the device so that it gets a greater
curvature or a reduced radius of curvature. Repeat the above steps as needed.
Adjust the curvature of the BACKBRO so that the device does not create
pressure points on the neck.
In order to achieve the desired result faster, it is important to create an
ergonomic and comfortable workplace.
Do not apply pressure or bend the device in the extended middle part.

DAILY USE
1. Put BACKBRO around your neck
BACKBRO is controlled by gestures. When you take it in your hands, the device
goes to standby mode. Place it around your neck so that the opening of the
charging socket faces downwards.
2. Choose your preferred sitting position
Take the posture you want to achieve. Experienced users are advised to stand
with the back flat against the wall and to set BACKBRO in this position.
3. Set BACKBRO position
While holding the body in the desired position, set the device to the desired
position by two consecutive taps on the BACKBRO surface. When done, the
device vibrates once and remembers that position.
When BACKBRO vibrates twice in a row, the device informs you that you are not
in the set position and you need to take a starting position. To switch it off,
remove it from the neck and put the BACKBRO so that the opening of the
charging socket is facing upwards and place the device on a horizontal surface or
place it in its original packaging.
Physiotherapists recommend that BACKBRO should be used for no more than
four hours a day, and no more than two hours a day for new users, and preferably
intermittently.
CHARGING
When the BACKBRO has a low battery, it will vibrate the SOS signal in the Morse
code. In this case, you need to charge the device. Connect it to a standard 5 V
USB port (such as a computer USB port) using a micro-USB charging cable. To
fully charge an empty battery, leave it to charge for two hours. Charge the device
at least once every three months, even if it has not been used. Do not leave the
device unattended during charging. BACKBRO will vibrate once when it is fully
charged.

STORAGE
When you have finished using BACKBRO, place the device on a horizontal
surface with the opening of its charging socket facing upwards. For longer-term
storage and transport, we recommend using the BACKBRO packaging box
designed for this purpose. The package includes a magnet, near which the
BACKBRO switches off. Do not place in any liquids, BACKBRO is not waterproof.

SIZING GUIDELINES
BACKBRO is available in three sizes. The small (S) size is intended for users with a
neck circumference of 31 - 35 cm, the medium (M) size 35 - 41 cm, and the large
(L) size 41 - 47 cm.

When caring for your BACKBRO, keep the following tips in mind:
●Do not use abrasive cleaners to clean BACKBRO;
●Do not expose BACKBRO to any chemicals, such as flammable liquid;
●If you experience any kind of discomfort or notice signs of skin irritation
where BACKBRO touches your body, please discontinue its use and
contact our support team;
●Do not attempt to disassemble or service BACKBRO;
●Protect BACKBRO from impact shocks.
●Do not expose BACKBRO to extremely high temperatures above +45 °C or
low temperatures below 0 °C;
●Do not expose BACKBRO to direct sunlight for extended periods of time;
●Do not leave BACKBRO near open flames.

Hazardous Voltage
WARNING

●BACKBRO requires a USB connector for charging;
●Make sure that you are using certified USB power supply;
●Power supply should be Limited Power Supply (LPS);
●Do not attempt to charge the device using an outdoor outlet. Only use
indoor AC/DC adapters;
●Do not expose the AC/DC adapter to rain, steam or wet conditions;
●Handle the AC/DC adapter by the plug, not the cord;
●Keep the device away from liquid, heat sources, and steam;
●Do not connect the AC/DC USB power connector to the device while in or
near water;
●Do not submerge the device under running water during charging;
●Do not place or store an appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub
or sink;
●Do not place or drop into water or other liquid.
Built-in Battery Precautions
CAUTION
This product contains a lithium-ion rechargeable battery. There is a risk of
explosion if batteries are not handled appropriately.
●The batteries are not designed to be replaced;
●Do not expose the device to temperatures exceeding 45 °C when the
device is in use;
●Damage inflicted on the battery could cause an explosion and/or fire;
●Do not dismantle, open or shred the battery;
●Do not expose the battery to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight;
●Do not short-circuit the battery.
