Step1:Setupequipment
1. Setupthestanchions(barrierpoles)4feetapart.
2. OpentheBallistiScancase,removelaptopPC,andsetasidethe2metalsensors.
3. AttachthetwosensorsontopofthestanchionsusingthesuppliedVelcrostrips.

4. Toprotectpedestriansfromtrippingoverthesensorcables,coverthepathwaywithamat.

Step2:Runapplication
1. ConnectUSBcablefromtheDSPtothelaptopPC. 
2.
ConnectthelaptopPCpoweradaptorcabletothelaptopPCandplugintowallsocket. 
3.
OpenthelaptopPCandpressthepowerbuttontostart.Nopasswordisneeded. 
4. Clickonthemetaldetector’siconinthetaskbar: 

5. Clickonthe“Setting”icon.

6. ClickontheUSBradiobutton.Thenclickthe“Apply”button.
7. Clickonthe“Port”button.
8. Clickonthe“Connect”button.Click“Confirm”.

9. Clickonthe“Sound”tab.
10. Clickonthe“Alarm”checkbox.
11. Clickonthe“Sound0”radiobutton.Thenclickthe“Save”button.
12. Click“Confirm”thenclickonthe‘X’tocloseoutthemenu.

