PREPARATION
1. Assemblingthemetal–
detector.
Assemblingthemetaldetector is
easyandyoudonotneedany
specialskillsandtoolstodoit.Just
followthesesteps:
-connectingthesearchingcoil:
Releaseandtakeoutthenut,
tightenupthesearchingcoil,put
thehandleofthemetaldetector in
thecrampofthesearchingcoil.Put
backthescrewin theholeand
tightenupthenut.Nowthe
searchingcoilisconnectedtothe
handle.
-adjustingthelength ofthe
handle:
a)Turnthelockingnut ofthe
handleclockwiseuntil itloosens.
b)Pulltheplastichandle,thatis
belowthehandleofthemetal
detector.Prolongor shortenthe
handle,sothatwhenyoustandup
holdingtheequipment,the
searchingcoiltobe2to5cm
abovethegroundlevel,with your
handloosen.Thentightenupthe
nut of thehandle.
-connectingthecableofthe
searchingcoil:
(1)Windupthecableofthe
searchingcoilaroundthehandle.
Leavethecablelooseenough,so
youcanadjustthesearchingcoil
whenyouoperateonrough
ground.
(2)Whenyouput theplugofthe
searchingcoilin theswichofthe
controlpanel,makesureallthe
pinsoftheplugarein the
respectiveholes.

2. Chargingthebatteries:
Yourmetaldetector issupplied
with builtinbatteriesanddoesnot
needadditionalbatteries.
Ifthemetaldetector isturnedon,
turnitoff(theknobTUNEisalso
on/off button.Turnit anti–
clockwisetoturnoff the
equipment).Connectthecharging
devicejacktotheRECHARGE
socketofthemetaldetector.Then
connectthechargingdevicetothe
contact.Whenrechargesthered
light ofthechargingdeviceison.
Thechargingcontinues12to16
hours.Oncechargedthemetal
detector canfunctionupto45
hours.
Youcanprolongthetimethe
detector worksbyusing
headphones,thatneedlessenergy
thanthebuilt in speakers.
BATTERY TESTING: Whenthe
detector isturnedon,ifthebattery
statusindicator LOWBATison,if
theequipment doesnotstart,if the
soundisweakor difficulttoadjust,
rechargethebatteries.
3. Usageof theheadphones:
Youcanconnectapairof
headphones(notincludedinthe
equipment) tothemetaldetector.
Thiswayonlyyouwillhearthe
signalofthedetector.Using
headphonesalsoprolongsthelife
ofthebatteriesandmakeseasier
for youidentifyingthesoundsignal
youhear,for betterdetection.To
connecttheheadphonesput their
cableintothecorrespondingsocket
onthecontrolpanel.Thebuilt in
speakerturnsoffautomatically
whenyouconnecttheheadphones.
SAFEHEARING: in ordertoprotect
yourhearing, you mustfollowthese
adviseswhenyouusethe
headphones.
-adjustthesoundonthelowest
levelbeforeyoustartdetecting.
Thenstartadjustingitthewayyou
feelitbetter.
Donotput tohighthelevelofthe
sound. Itmaycauseyou
permanentloseofhearing
Onceyou haveadjustedthelevelof
thesound, donotincreaseit.With
thetimeyourearsadapttothe
levelofthesoundandsometimes
evensoundlevelthatseemstonot
disturbyou,couldresultharmful
for yourhearing.
SAFE MOVEMENT:
Donotusetheheadphonesona
placeswith heavy traffic.Although
someheadphonesallowyoutohear
othersounds,usingthemonplaces
with heavytrafficisriskytoo.

metals.Sowhenitdetectsanon–
ferrousmetal,producesasolid
soundsignalandwhendetectsa
ferrousmetalyouhearan
interruptedsoundsignal.Besides
thatthedetector issuppliedwith a
pointersystem,whichisanother
way todiscriminatethemetals.The
systemhas amiddlepoint and
whenyoudetectaferrousmetal
thepintergoesleft–FERROUS,
andwhenyoudetectanonferrous
metalgoesright–NONFERROUS.
4. Criticalsoundandon/off
(TUNE) knob:
TheTUNEknobservesason/off
buttonandfor adjustingthecritical
soundtoo.Toturnthedetector off,
turnlefttheknob. Turntheknob
leftandyouwill hearalittleclick,
whichmeansthatthedetector is
turnedon.Keepturningrightand
youwill hearthesoundslowly
increasing. Adjustthebuttonto
hearaveryweaksound. Theweak
soundiscalledcriticalsound. The
detector ismostsensitivewhenthe
criticalsoundistuned.
5. GROUNDBALANCE knob
GROUNDBALANCEknobserves
toeliminatethemineralization
effectofthesoil.
Operation:
Turnonthemetaldetector –turn
theTUNEknobright.Liftthe
detector to40–50 cmofthe
ground:1.release
the“Discrimination”button(All
METAL); 2.turntheTUNEknob
maximum right.3.turnthe
GROUNDBALANCEknobtomiddle
position.4.Keepthedetector lifted
andyouwillhearloudand
uninterruptedsound. 5.Start
turningleftslowlytheTUNEknob
until thesoundbecomesweakor
barelyhearable.Thisisthecritical
soundandinthatpositionthe
detector has thebiggestdetection
depth.6.Thennearthesearching

level.Nowpay attentiontothis:

Whenyouhavesetthe
equipment totheground, youcan
workwith it.Whenyousearchhold

slowlythesearchingcoilat2-5cm
abovethegroundlevel.Thenyou
can startdetecting.
DETECTION
1.Preparation:
Afterchargingthebatteries,
turntheTUNEknobtotheright to
turnonthedetector.Thensetthe
criticalsound. Afterthatsetthe
detector tothegroundusingthe
GROUNDBALANCEknob. Thenthe
detector isreadytowork.You
shouldconnectthesearchingcoil in
aplacewherethereisnotany
metal.Whenyousearchholdthe
handleofthedetector andsweep
thesearchingcoilslowlyat2-5cm
overtheground. Whendetects
metal,thedetector reacts
producingsoundsignalandthe
controlpanelreadsthechange.
Takeoffall theclocks,metal
buttonsetc.thatyouarewearing
anddonotwearany bootswith
metalon them.
Note:
-thesearchingcoilwill notdetect
anythingifit’snotmoving

2.Testandoperationoutdoors
(1) Findplotofgroundoutdoors,
wherethereisnotany metal.Put
downasampleoftheobjectthat
youwant thedetector tofind. If
youuseas asampleanyvaluable
object,marktheplacewhereyou
areburyingit in ordertofindit
later.
(2) Keepthesearchingcoilat2–
5cmabovethegroundandsweep
it slowlyleftandright overthe
placethatyouhaveburiedthe
object.
CARE ANDMAINTENANCE
1. ifthemetaldetector doesnot
workproperly,itispossiblethat
thebatteriesarelow,soyouhave
torechargethem.Theplugofthe
searchingcoilshouldnotbewet,
becausethedetector will loseits
capacity.Theplugcan beusedonly
afteritiscarefullydried. donot
usethedetectorwhenitrains
orwhenthesun shinestoo
strong.
2. Donotnearthesearchingcoil
toovensor otherhotobjects.
Everymetaldetector has warranty
thatallowsfree repairuntilitstime
limit.Thewarranty dropsoff ifthe
