Product Precautions
Cleaning the Smart Lid
‧ To prevent damage to the water
resistance of the smart cap, do not
use sharp objects when cleaning
the smart cap.
‧ Use a soft sponge with warm
water and a little detergent to
clean the smart lid.
‧ Do not submerge the smart cap
into water to prevent damage to
the electronic components.

Cleaning the Bottle
‧ Use a soft sponge with a long handle and apply
warm water and neutral detergent to clean.
After washing, rinse thoroughly and wipe dry.
‧ Clean the surface of the bottle with soft cloth or
moist sponge using mild detergent. The product
must be thoroughly cleaned before and after use.
‧ The inside of the bottle should be completely
dry, when the bottle will not be used for a long
period of time.
‧ For regular maintenance, use food grade
vinegar + water (ratio 1:10) and let it sit for
30 minutes before rinsing out.

Start Using DrinKup
Suggest to use iOS 9.0 or Android 4.4 and above for the best
experience.
1. Charge the Smart Lid
(1) Before using DrinKup smart bottle, please charge the smart lid
to prevent no power when setting up the device and help
prolong the battery life.
(2) During charging, the smart lid will light up when charging is in
progress. The light will turn off when charging is completed.
(3) Smart lid will on automatically once it starts charging.
(4) Place back the waterproof rubber seal when charging is
completed and turn counter clockwise to close the waterproof
protective ring on the lid before turning on. (For charging details,
please refer to the P 11 Charging the Smart Lid section.)
2. Secure the Smart Lid on the Bottle
Before using DrinKup, ensure that the
smart lid is fully screwed on to the
bottle. If not, the smart lid will not
display any signal. Before using it is
recommended to hand wash the
bottle first (For more information,
please refer to P3 Product Precautions
Section)
3. Download the DrinKup App
After you have installed the app,
please open the app and follow
the steps to register your
DrinKup account or log in to
your registered account. After
that, please follow the steps
from the app to pair your
DrinKup with your smart device
to ensure the information can be
sync between your DrinKup and
the DrinKup App.
4. Start using DrinKup after finishing pairing
If your DrinKup is nearby and bluetooth on your smart device is
on, it will sync automatically when you open the DrinKup app.
Ensure the smart lid is
fully screwed on to the
bottle.

Smart Lid Operation Instructions
1. Secure the Smart Lid on the Bottle
Before using DrinKup, ensure that the smart lid is fully screwed on
to the bottle. If not, the smart lid will not display any signal.
Before using it is recommended to hand wash the bottle first
(For more information, please refer to P 3 Product Precautions
Section)
2. How to turn on:
Smart lid will on automatically
once it starts charging.
(For charging details, please refer
to the P 11 Charging the Smart Lid
section.)
3. How to turn off:
DrinKup will last for 30 - 90 days on a full charge, user do not
need to turn it on/ off everyday.
(1) Go to "Setting"
(2) Select a DrinKup that you want to turn off
(3) Click "Turn Off" button beside "Smart Lid"
(4) Click "Confirm" on the pop up window
(5) The word "Power off" will shown beside "Smart Lid" and a
"OFF" signal will appear on your smart lid when it is successfully
turned.

2.Water Balance Status Display
Close the smart lid tightly, keep
it steady for 1 second and tilt it
to read your hydration status.
3.Temperature Detection
Flip DrinKup upside down for a few seconds until it vibrate and
turn the bottle back in its upright position, the screen will
automatically show the current temperature of the water in the
bottle. (It normally takes 5 – 8 seconds)
Basic Functions
1.Hydration Balance Detection
After taking a drink from the smart bottle, close the smart lid
tightly. Place it on a flat surface or hold it steady for 5 seconds
and it will finish recording.

6. Turn On/ Off Smart Lid Alert
Smart lid will vibrate once your water intake level is lower than 80%.
You can turn on/ off smart lid vibration alert via DrinKup app.
Step 1: Select "Setting" at bottom right to find "Bottle settings".
Step 2: Select a DrinKup that you want to turn off it’s vibration notification.
Step 3: Click "Turn On" or "Turn Off" beside "Vibration Notification"
and click "save".
Step 4: Smart Lid will appear turn on/off signal as well when it is
successfully turned on/off.
5. Stale Water Display
When the smart bottle has not been used for more than 24 hours,
opening the smart lid will display a "X" to show the water is stale.
4. Temperature Too Hot Display
With the smart lid tightly on and water temperature is above 50°C
(122.0 °F), when you turn open the smart lid it will display a "HOT"
on the LED.

Smart Lid Display Overview
After Hours
Your bottle is not within the hydration
time period set. During this time
DrinKup will not log information when
you are drinking water.
In the app you will be able to see your
hydration results for the day.
Temperature
Instant water temperature display,
by activating the temperature sensor.
Too Hot
When the temperature of the water in
the bottle exceeds 50°C (122.0 °F),
A "HOT" signal will appear to remind
you to be careful when drinking.
(This function will activate after the smart lid is fully
tightened onto the bottle for over 5 minutes.
"HOT" signal will appear when the water
temperature is above 50℃±5℃.)
Smart Lid is On
Hydration Balance
The hydration balance can be
displayed on the smart lid. The ideal
hydration balance to keep is more
than 90%.
Smart Lid is Off
Drink Reminder
When your water balance is below
80%, DrinKup will remind you
automatically and a "heart" icon will
appear frequently until your water
balance is higher than 80% or when
the time is out of recording period.
Not Pairing
The water bottle and smart device has
not been paired yet. Please follow the
paring procedure to start using the
smart bottle.

Data Sync In Process
Moving >>> signal will appears
when DrinKup is syncing with the
DrinKup App.

Static >>> signal indicates that your
DrinKup needs to be sync with the
DrinKup App immediately to regulate
the time of your smart lid.
Firmware Update
During a firmware update from the
DrinKup app, this will display on smart
lid. After update has been completed,
will be restarted and a "ON" will be
displayed on the smart lid.
Stale Water
After 24 hours without using the bottle,
the bottle will display "X" to show the
water is stale.
Tilt to Pair
Please tilt DrinKup to finish pairing.
Successfully Paired
This display indicates your DrinKup is
now paired with your smart device.
Smart Lid Vibration Notification Off
Smart lid will not vibrate even
when your water intake level
is lower than 80%.

Smart lid will vibrate once your water
intake level is lower than 80%.

Temperature Detection in Process
The lid is detecting temperature. It will
automatically detect the drink's
temperature when lid is tighten. This
light will display if lid is opened during
this process. (About 5 minutes)
Lower Than 10% Battery Left
This display indicates your smart lid
has lower than 10% battery left, a
charging display will appear if you
keep charging it.
Low Battery Display
This display indicates that your smart
lid needs to charge.
Data Sync In Process
Flip open the USB port rubber piece.
Push in the small hole located under the
USB charging port with a paper clip until
you see the lid display "ON".

Charging the Smart Lid
After fully charging the smart lid, DrinKup will work from 30~90days before
the next charge. Actual time will depend on how you use the device.
Smart Lid charging instruction：
Before using DrinKup smart bottle, please charge the smart lid to prevent no
power when setting up the device and help prolong the battery life.
1. Make sure the smart lid is completely dry
Please make sure that the lid is dry before charging with the USB.

2. Low Battery Display
When your battery is running low, the LED will
display the battery charge icon when you screw
the lid tightly on the DrinKup bottle. Your
DrinKup will continue to record your hydration
information until the battery runs out.
You can also use the DrinKup app to check the
battery life of your DrinKup.

Please be reminded to cover the USB
seal completely and turn the protective
ring to left when you are going to wash
or start using your DrinKup to prevent
water damage.
6. Charging Display
This display indicates your smart lid has
lower than 10% battery left, a charging
display will appear if you keep charging it.
Charging will take 1 to 2 hours. The LED will turn off when charging
is complete.

Safety & Precautions
‧ Follow the instructions carefully before charging the product.
‧ Do not use any damaged power adapters or USB cables.
‧ Do not twist or pull the USB cable. Damaged USB cable may cause risk
of electric shock, short circuit, and fire.
‧ Do not modify, change, drop, or cause damage to the product .
‧ In the case you encounter problems with the installation or use of the
product, do not use force to avoid damaging the product.
‧ Avoid charging in hot or humid environments to prevent sparks and
electric shock.
‧ Make sure to dry hands before removing the charging cable to avoid
danger and damage to the product.
‧ If the device is not used for long periods of time, charge the battery
once every three months to prolong the battery life and prevent
damage to the device.
‧ Do not use a power adapter other than DC 5V.
‧ Charge battery between temperatures of 0° and 40° C (32° to 104° F).
Charging the device in higher temperatures may cause the damage to
the device.
‧ Do not let water come in contact with the battery.
‧ Do not place the smart lid with metal objects. Metal objects that
contact with the positive and negative terminals of the Micro USB may
cause a short circuit or damage to the device.‧ Improper use of the
product may result in fire, explosion, or other hazards.
‧ Do not place the smart lid close to a fire to avoid explosion.
‧ Do not use the product as a toy to play with children and please place
it in safe areas.
‧ Dispose a damaged smart lid in accordance with your local
regulations.
‧ Do not use the smart lid with other bottles not designed by DrinKup.
‧ Do not drop the smart lid on the ground.
‧ Do not use dishwasher or a dish dryer.
‧ Do not use abrasive powder, metal cleaning balls, cleaning naphtha, or
cleaners containing chlorine to avoid scratches, rust, or corrosion on
the surface of the product.
‧ Do not use dry ice or carbonated drinks to prevent pressure from
rising, which may cause the smart lid to eject or get stuck.
‧ Do not fill with acidic drinks, liquids containing salt or hot soups.
These liquids make cause poor insulation function.
‧ Milk, beans juices, fruit juices and other drinks should be consumed
within 30 minutes to avoid corruption.
‧ Do not heat it in a microwave.
‧ Do not boil it.
‧ Do not place in the refrigerator or freezer.
‧ Do not use the smart bottle for anything other than keeping drinks
cold or hot.
‧ Be careful when storing hot drinks in the bottle.
‧ Do not open the smart lid while the bottle is titled or near your face.
