Remove the case using our Case Removal guide.
Remove the adjustment
system as detailed in the
Preciso Adjustment Ring
Replacement guide.

Turn the adjustment ring
upside down to inspect
the three tabs on the
micro ring.
If any tabs are broken,
replace the assembly.
To retain your current
calibration after this
inspection, create two
reference marks: one on
the adjustment ring and
one on the calibration
ring. These marks should
align.
Remove the calibration
screw.
Three tabs must
be intact.

Rotate the adjustment
and calibration rings,
unthreading them as
pictured, until they
separate.
Inspect the threading on
the outer diameter of the
adjustment ring. If you
see damage, replace the
assembly.
Inspect the three tabs
on the interior diameter
of the calibration ring.
If damaged, replace the
assembly.
Threading on all
sides must be good

Gently check that
the micro ring is
rmly attached to the
calibration ring. If there is
notable ex, replace the
assembly.
Thread the calibration
and adjustment rings
together by setting the
reference marks near
one another.
*The calibration ring
marker will be to the left
and the adjustment ring
marker will be to the
right*
Align the markers
and remove them if
applicable.

Secure the calibration
screw.
Inspect the base ring for
damage. If any cracks
or mising portions
are found, replace the
assembly. The base
ring must be glued to
the gearbox housing. If
it is not, please see the
Preciso Adjustment Ring
Replacement guide for
further assistance.
