iQ™(PRO) Series,
Winner of 6 Technology Awards:
The intelligent projector concept
For boardrooms, training facilities, customer centers, and auditoriums. The iQ Series is
the intelligent projector concept you can build on.
Convince AND impress. Make sure your message is powerful and clearly
understood. Display multiple information sources simultaneously. Whether it’s a live
news broadcast, a spreadsheet, or a corporate movie shown alongside your
presentation, do it all on one screen with a single iQ projector. Switch input sources
in no time! The iQ Series will never leave you in the dark.
As an AV facility manager, you need absolute reliability. You can’t afford a projector
that fails during a critical presentation. You need a projector that is easy to set-up and
even easier to maintain! You also demand the best in image quality. The iQ series
gives you razor sharp, bright images with true colors. And with Barco, you can
count on connecting any future peripherals to an iQ Series projector.
The Barco iQ Series is specifically designed and engineered to increase your business
efficiency.
Smart people make smart presentations with iQ.

"Barco's revolutionary iQ G350
(and iQ R350) front LCD
projectors break new ground
with a unique built-in seamless
switcher and scaler for mixing
interlaced and progressive-scan
signals at any resolution. You
can also tile up to four signal
sources on both projectors in
windows of any size, in any
order, and at any depth -
another first for the industry."

Sound and Video Contractor
Show multiple source windows simultaneou
Make sure your audience gets the whole picture,
the big picture, and the picture-in-picture.
Use our advanced technology to get
the exact message you want across.
Add effective images alongside your
presentation, like your ad campaign,
live news broadcasts, a DVD source or
even a product drawing. Do it all - on
one screen and by using one projector.
The standard iQ projector allows you to
show up to three sources simul-
taneously (2 data and 1 video). With
the optional input boards, you can add
a second analog video connection or a
digital video connection. This way you
can display simultaneously 2 data and
2 video sources, a unique feature of the
iQ projector Series.
Efficient decision making often means
exchanging and retrieving information
in a fast and efficient way. Previously,
when exchanging data during
collaborative meetings, laptops needed
to be connected and disconnected, and
information was shown in a sequential
way.
Now, the iQ enables you to connect 2
laptops simultaneously, so data can be
compared easily .
Innovative dual-lamp
system
All iQ Series projectors come with an
advanced dual-lamp system to
maximize light efficiency and reliability.
If one lamp should fail, the iQ’s auto-
sensing feature instantly switches to
the other lamp. All without going into
standby mode.
Choose the
brightness you need
Depending on your application, your iQ
projector can be set to operate at its
highest brightness or or at a reduced
brightness, but with improved TCO.
During the first 100 operation hours of
the lamp, you can choose between the
following operation modes:
• Full Power Mode: the iQ will be
operating at 5,000 ANSI lumens (in
dual lamp mode) with a 1500-hour
lamp system lifetime.
• Economy Mode: the iQ will be
operating at 3,500 ANSI lumens (in
dual lamp mode) with a 3000-hour
lamp system lifetime.
Switching to single-lamp mode means
doubling the lamp system lifetime
(6000 hours in Economy Mode).
Silent by design
The carefully designed magnesium
housing ensures optimal cooling and
airflow, resulting in a low noise level
(<37 dBa in Economy mode).
Higher contrast level
The iQ Series combines high-quality
1.4" poly-silicon LCD technology and
BARCO’s renowned image processing
expertise.
The result is an unsurpassed color
reproduction and truly impressive
images. With our precision optical
elements, a high-contrast level of more
than 800:1 is achieved.

As you add sources with your remote
control, you can resize and move the

create the perfect layout for your
meeting. Save and load your preferred

The iQ projector
allows you to digitally
zoom inside a
window and scroll for
the details you want to emphasize. All
actions take place without freezing the
image, thanks to iQ’s real-time image
processing capability.
Use your iQ projector
for videoconferencing.
Simply connect a standard codec and
video camera to the projector and your
meeting room becomes a
videoconferencing space. Your iQ
projector displays your local audience,
the remote audience*, and the shared
presentation.
* The optional Audio Switcher and Video Input
board allows to display 2 video sources

Barco's patented True Color
Reproduction (TCRPlus) software
enhances the quality of conventional
video sources. The result is vibrant
images with remarkable color depth,
sharpness, and clarity.
The UHP Lamp, with its blue-weighted
color point, makes it the ideal projector
for data presentations.
Optimal character
readability
Barco’s pixel map processing
technology adds even more versatility
and compatibility. The projector
optimizes the resolution of the
incoming source automatically to map
the resolution of the LCD panels. You
get crisp graphics with smooth and
exceptionally readable characters.

The iQ array of input connections is
enough to impress the most
sophisticated electronics user. And
they're all located for easy access in
the cable basket on the projector’s
front panel. The iQ Series offers unique
video application possibilities. Connect
up to seven composite video sources or
up to three S-Video sources. An
intelligent video switcher is included to
provide easy management of the
various connections.
There is no need to go to the expense
of external switchers.
The iQ comes standard with following
connections: all RGB configurations,
D15 connection, Composite Video, S-
Video, Component Video and DVI. This
Series also displays an extremely wide
range of signals, including analog data
to digital video and from the latest
HDTV sources to all of today’s popular
RGB computer formats.
DVI (Digital Visual Interface) is the new
open industry specification for digital
connectivity. It replaces today's multiple
standards for data connections. The
digital signal from a computer is
transmitted directly to LCD panels with
minimal degradation or interference.
