2. About Picklist Mode
Overview. Picklist mode enables the digital scanner to decode only barcodes that are aligned under the laser
crosshair or LED aiming dot. This feature is useful in applications where multiple bar codes may appear in
the field of view during a decode session and only one of them is targeted for decode. It allows users to
easily select and scan a single barcode from a field of barcodes.

3. Enabling Picklist Mode on the BCS3608ex & BCS3678ex
3.1 Issue/Question
How to enable picklist mode in BCS3608ex & BCS3678ex?
3.2 Applicable to
All devices of BCS3608ex & BCS3678ex series.
3.3 Resolution / Answer
Two options available to program it:
1. Use of programming barcodes.
2. Use of Zebra freeware Tool 123 Scan Utility.
Select one of the following picklist modes for the digital scanner:
Disabled Always - Picklist mode is always disabled.
Enabled in Hand-held Mode - Picklist mode is enabled in Hand-held mode.
Enable Always - Picklist mode is always enabled.
Enabled in Hands-free Mode - Picklist mode is enabled in Hands-free mode.
Picklist Mode temporarily overrides the Disable Decode Aiming Pattern parameter. You
cannot disable the Decode Aiming Pattern when Picklist Mode is enabled.

Scan one of the following picklist modes for the digital scanner:

123 Scan Utility is a freeware utility available on the Zebra support & download page.

Start 123 Scan Utility.
Connect your scanner with it.
Select the menu “7. General”.
Select the sub menu “System” and scroll down to “Picklist Mode”.

DataWedge
4.1 Issue/Question
How to enable picklist mode in TC26ex-NI, TC77ex-NI, MC27ex-NI & MC93ex-NI using Datawedge?
4.2 Applicable to
All devices running with Android 11.
Instruction is created on TC77ex-NI with the following software version.
Picklist mode is as well running on later versions or older Android versions (e.g. Android 10).
Possibly the menu navigation to find the picklist mode is different there.

SE4600, or SE4750).
MC92N0ex with Android device with a built-in 2D imager (SE4500 or SE4750).
5.3 Resolution / Answer
Select one of the following picklist modes for the digital scanner:
Disable - Disables Picklist mode; you can decode any barcode within the field of view.
Hardware Picklist - Picklist mode is enabled by sending a command to hardware.
Software Picklist - Picklist feature is handled in the software; no commands are sent to hardware.
Performance may vary on some devices if Hardware or Software Picklist modes are set.
