DSP must not be subjected to moisture or excess humidity. No user serviceable parts.
Unit case will become hot during use. Do not hot box. Do not touch during operation.
Be clear in the first instance what your goals are before you begin your installation. The DSP
offers an enormous range of options which would have different cabling and amplification needs
depending on your choices. Spending some time planning will definitely be of benefit.
Ensure the DSP is connected to a solid, high quality ground point that is separate from the vehicle
systems. The DSP has to bring together and compensate for potentially many signal ground
variations and it needs a stable power supply as reference.
Do not allow unused uninsulated cables in the Molex connectors to touch each other, as this will
cause potentially serious damage to the circuits.
It is very important when adding additional processing that the system is correctly set in terms of
gain/level matching. Use the highest outputs possible without clipping from source unit into the
DSP, and then the highest output possible from the DSP (again without clipping) to the amplifiers,
which should be gained as little as possible to achieve their optimum performance. When
incorporating flexibility for different media into the gain structure we recommend a recording be
used that was recorded at the desired level of headroom.

7.Common Fault Solutions
Common Troubleshooting:
Resetting to factory settings after powering down the unit can sometimes help to remedy software
and connection problems.
If there is no sound, check to ensure that mute is not activated.
Audio source priority is: USB, Bluetooth, then original car source.
If USB software connection fails please check that the computer is recognising the cable
connection with a chime sound.
