12.1 How to use the sport ball needle
• Insert the needle into the air chuck on
the high pressure hose (6) and push the
air chuck clamp down until it locks into
place. Inate to the desired pressure.
• Insert the moistened sport ball needle
into sports ball valve and inate.
• Remove sport ball needle from the ball
and from the air chuck after Ination.
Note: The pressure required for most
sports balls ls too low for accurate reading
on gauge.
12.2 How to use the Presta valve adaptor
The Presta valve adaptor can be used for
Presta valve stems as described below.
Before inating a tyre with a Presta valve,
loosen the locking nut on top of the valve.
Once Ination is complete, tighten the lock-
ing nut to seal the tyre valve.
• Loosen the Presta valve locking nut.
• Thread the Presta valve adaptor onto
the valve stem with the adaptors interior
threads.
• Position the air chuck clamp in the
unlock position.
• Clamp the end of the air chuck down
onto the Presta valve adaptor by press-
ing air chuck clamp down until it locks
into place.
• Inate the tyre.
• After ination, remove air chuck and
Presta valve adaptor and tighten locking
nut with your ngers. Do not use tools.
12.3 Accessories storage
When not in use, adaptors and needles
provided with the compressor can be
placed in the storage area (7) located on
the right side of the compressor.
12.4 Hoses storage
When not in use, the hoses provided with
the inater can be placed in the storage
areas located on both sides of the
compressor.
13. The digital gauge
The digital gauge shows the current pres-
sure and the pre-set pressures. Pressure is
indicated in psi, bar, kPa, and kg/cm2.
• Press the mode button in the centre to
turn on the digital gauge.
Note: Make sure digital gauge is set at 0
before use. If gauge reads “Err’’ or needs
resetting, remove the battery and replace it
after at least 10 seconds.
Note: Pressing the mode button briey
displays the last pre-set value in die cur-
rently set units.
• To change the units in which the air
pressure is displayed the compressor
must be in the measuring mode (cur-
rent value is displayed). Press and hold
the mode button until the display
switches to the next unit. The units are
indicated on the right side of the
display.
• Use the (+) and (-) buttons to set the
target value. When setting the target
value, pressing the mode button will
increase the value more rapidly. When
the desired target value is displayed,
press and hold any of the buttons until
the target value ashes. The target
value is now set. The current pressure
value is displayed.
14. The automatic shut-off
The digital gauge will turn off after ve min-
utes of non-use. To manually shut off, press
and hold the (+) and (-) buttons until the
display turns off.
15. Work light
The compressor is equipped with a work
light (5). The work light will be automatically
switched on when power switch is at the
position of “I” or “II”. It will be switched off
automatically when the power switch is at
the position “O”.
16. Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING: Remove the battery before car-
rying out any maintenance/cleaning of the
tool.
16.1 Cleaning
• Use only a moist cloth to clean the unit.
Do not use aggressive chemicals which
may dissolve plastic parts, or abrasives.
Always keep the ventilation slots clean
and free from obstructions.
