
Run the shoulder strap up from the injured
elbow, round the neck and over the uninjured
shoulder. Feed it through the D-ring on the
outside of the sling and back on itself.
Adjust the height as required and secure the
strap firmly with the hook & loop fastening

• Oedema control
• Paralysis
• CVA
Place the injured arm into the sling, ensuring the
elbow and forearm are supported securely to
avoid discomfort
Hold the top of the sling closed and attach the
securing strap to the front of the sling near the
elbow, fold over and secure
Close the sling 5 - 7 cm up from wrist using the
D-ring strap, ensuring that thew side facing D-ring
is positioned on the inside of the sling

INDICATIONS FOR USE
To use as a shoulder immobiliser, follow steps
1 to 5 above then attach the ommobilisation
strap to the front of the Hig Arm Sling, 3-5cms
away fron the securing starp.
Run the immobilisation strap around the waist.
Feed the immobilisation strap through the side
facing D-ring (as shown) and secure with hook
& loop fastening.
