Allgemeines
Durch den einfach anzubringenden SC43 kann die Zeitschaltuhr für Lichtsen-
sor Centronic TimeControl TC52 / Zeitschaltuhr Funk für Lichtsensor
Centronic TimeControl TC511 sofort in eine komfortable Sonnenschutz-
Steuerung (Beschattung der Pflanzen und Möbel) erweitert werden.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Der SC43 darf nur in Verbindung mit der Zeitschaltuhr für Lichtsensor
Centronic TimeControl TC52 / Zeitschaltuhr Funk für Lichtsensor Centronic Ti-
meControl TC511 verwendet werden.
Der Anschluss von Fremdgeräten muss in Rücksprache mit dem Fachhandel
durchgeführt werden.

Lichtsensor
Funktion des SC43
Sie haben durch den SC43 die Möglichkeit Ihre Pflanzen und Möbel vor zu
starker Sonneneinstrahlung zu schützen.
Der SC43 sollte immer so angebracht werden, dass er die Sonneneinstrah-
lung so früh wie möglich erkennt. Wird der eingestellte Sonnenwert überschrit-
ten, erscheint im Display „SONNE“. Der Rollladen oder die Jalousie fährt auto-
matisch ab in die Zwischenposition, oder bis zum SC43, stoppt und fährt den
SC43 wieder frei.
Beschattungsfunktion:
Wird der Lichtwert länger als 3 Min. überschritten -> Rollladen fährt ab.
Wird der Lichtwert länger als 15 Min. unterschritten -> Rollladen fährt auf.
SONNE
Der Schwellenwert ist auf 06 voreingestellt.
Beim Wert -- ist die Sonnenschutzfunktion ausgeschaltet. Der Helligkeitswert
lässt sich von 01 (stark bewölkt) bis 15 (direkte Sonneneinstrahlung) einstel-
len.
Im Display werden der aktuelle und der einzustellende Sonnenwert angezeigt.
Der einzustellende Wert blinkt.
Dämmerungsfunktion:
Wird der Dämmerungswert nach 12:00 Uhr unterschritten -> Rollladen fährt
zu.
DAEMMER
Der Schwellenwert ist auf -- voreingestellt.
Beim Wert -- ist der Dämmerungsfunktion ausgeschaltet.
Der Helligkeitswert lässt sich von 01 (Nacht) bis 15 (frühe Dämmerung) ein-
stellen.
Im Display werden der aktuelle und der einzustellende Dämmerungswert an-
gezeigt. Der einzustellende Wert blinkt.
TEST-Mode
(Kann erst nach ununterbrochenem AUF-Befehl aktiviert werden)
In diesem Modus können Sie den SC43 überprüfen. Ist der Test-Modus aktiv,
erscheint TEST im Display.
Im TEST-Modus werden die Zeiten der Beschattungsfunktion verkürzt.

Montage / Anschluss
Montage SC43 an die Zeitschaltuhr für Lichtsensor Centronic TimeCon-
trol TC52 / Zeitschaltuhr Funk für Lichtsensor Centronic TimeControl
TC511
Montage am Gerät
1. Kürzen Sie das Kabel auf die gewünschte Länge (z.B. mit einem Seiten-
schneider).
2. Isolieren Sie das Kabel ca. 5 mm ab.
3. Stecken Sie das Kabel in die Anschlussklemme.
4. Stecken Sie die Anschlussklemme in die Buchse ein (siehe Bild).
Fenstermontage SC43:
Vor der Montage des Sensors ist die Scheibe gründlich zu reinigen.
Befestigen Sie den SC43 mit dem Saugnapf am Fenster.

Nur wenn ein Lichtsensor im Gerät eingesteckt ist, wird Ih-
nen dieses Dialogfenster angezeigt.
6. Sie haben die Funktion URLAUB bestätigt. SONNE erscheint.
7. Ein zuvor eingestellter Wert erscheint
8. Mit der +/- Taste können sie den Sonnenwert verstellen. (Die linken beiden
Stellen im Display zeigen den aktuellen Lichtwert an)
9. Bestätigen Sie Ihre Eingabe mit OK. Verfahren Sie mit der Einstellung
DAEMMER wie bei SONNE beschrieben.
10. Drücken Sie 2 x die MENUE-Taste, um wieder in den Betriebsmodus zu
gelangen.

Reinigen Sie das Gerät nur mit einem geeigneten Tuch. Verwenden Sie keine
Reinigungsmittel, die die Oberfläche angreifen können.

General
The timer for light sensor Centronic TimeControl TC52 / radio timer for light
sensor Centronic TimeControl TC511 can be instantly extended to form a con-
venient sun protection control unit (shade for plants and furniture) using the
SC43, which is easy to attach.
Explanation of pictograms
CAUTION CAUTION indicates a hazardous situation
which, if not avoided, could result in in-
jury.
ATTENTION ATTENTION indicates measures that must
be taken to avoid damage to property.
Denotes user tips and other useful in-
formation.
Warranty
Structural modifications and incorrect installation which are not in accordance
with these and our other instructions can result in serious injuries, e.g., crush-
ing of limbs. Therefore, structural modifications may only be carried out with
our prior approval and strictly in accordance with our instructions, particularly
the information contained in these Assembly and Operating Instructions.
Any further processing of the products which does not comply with their inten-
ded use is not permitted.

Safety instructions
General information
•Only use in dry rooms.
•Only use unmodified original parts from the control unit manufacturer.
•Keep children away from control units.

•Keep people out of the system’s range of travel.
Intended use
The SC43 may only be used in combination with the timer for light sensor
Centronic TimeControl TC52 / radio timer for light sensor Centronic TimeCon-
trol TC511.
The connection of external devices must be carried out in consultation with
specialist retailers.

Light sensor
Function of the SC43
The SC43 lets you protect your plants and furniture from excessively strong
sunlight.
The SC43 should always be attached so that it senses the sunlight as soon as
possible. If the sun value that has been set is exceeded, "SUN" appears on the
display. The roller shutter or the venetian blind automatically lowers to the in-
termediate position, or as far as the SC43, stops and clears the SC43 again.
Shade function:
If the light value is exceeded for longer than 3 min. -> roller shutter moves
down.
If the light intensity is below the light value for longer than 15 min. -> roller
shutter moves up.
SUN
The threshold value is preset to 06.
At this value -- the sun protection function is off. The brightness value can be
set to anywhere between 01 (heavily overcast) and 15 (direct sunlight).
The display indicates the current sun value and the sun value to be set. The
value to be set flashes.
Twilight function:
If the light intensity is below the twilight value after 12:00 -> roller shutter
closes.
TWILIGHT
The threshold value is preset to --.
At this value -- the twilight function is off.
The brightness value can be set to anywhere between 01 (night) and 15 (early
twilight).
The display indicates the current twilight value and the twilight value to be set.
The value to be set flashes.
TEST mode
(Can only be activated after a continuous UP command)
This mode lets you test the functionality of the SC43. If Test mode is active,
you will see TEST on the display.
In TEST mode, the shade function times are shortened.

Installation / connection
Installation of the SC43 on the timer for light sensor Centronic Time-
Control TC52 / radio timer for light sensor Centronic TimeControl
TC511
Installation on the device
1. Cut the cable to the desired length (e.g. with diagonal pliers).
2. Strip approx. 5mm of the cable.
3. Connect the cable to the terminal.
4. Connect the terminal to the socket (see fig.).
Attaching the SC43 to the window:
The glass must be thoroughly cleaned before affixing the sensor.
Affix the SC43 to the window with the suction cup.

serted in the device.
6. You have confirmed the HOLIDAY function. SUN appears.
7. The previously set value, if any, appears
8. You can adjust the sun value using the +/- buttons (the two left digits on the
display indicate the current light value).
9. Confirm your setting with OK. Set TWILIGHT in the same way as SUN.
10. Press the MENU button twice to switch to Operating mode.
