TAKE CARE OF YOUR PIANO

This digital piano will supply you with years of musical enjoyment if you follow the simple rules listed below.
WARNING
When using electrical products, basic safety
precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
SAFETY
Power Source - The product should always be
connected to a power supply only of the type
described in the operating instructions or as
marked on the product.
Periods of Nonuse - The power-supply cord of
the product should be unplugged from the
outlet when left unused for a long period of
time.
SERVICE AND MODIFICATION
This product should be serviced by qualified
service personnel when,
• the power supply cord or the plug has been
damaged,
• liquid has been spattered into the unit or it has
been exposed to rain,
• the instrument does not appear to operate
normally or exhibits a marked change in
performance.
• the instrument has been dropped or the cabinet
has been damaged.
• Do not attempt to open the piano or make any
change in the circuits or parts of the unit.
HANDLING AND TRANSPORT
• Never apply excessive force to the controls,
connectors or other parts of the instrument.
• Always unplug cables by gripping the plug
firmly, not by pulling on the cable.
• Disconnect all cables before moving the
instrument.
• Physical shocks caused by dropping,
bumping, or placing heavy objects on the
instrument can result in scratches and/or more
serious damage.
• Carefully check the amplifier volume control
before starting to play. Excessive volume can
cause permanent hearing loss.
CLEANING
• Clean the cabinet and panel with a soft nonabra-
sive dry cloth. This cloth should be for High
Gloss Lacquer Finish Furniture. A wax based
polish specifically for High Gloss Lacquer
Finish Furniture may be used on the cabinet.
Do not use paint thinner or petrochemical
based polishes.
LOCATION
Do not expose the instrument to the following
conditions to avoid deformation, discoloration, or
more serious damage:
- direct sunlight (near a window)
- high temperatures (near a heat source, outside,
or near a window)
- rain or excessive humidity
- excessive dust
-strongvibration
• Leave enough space around the piano for it to
be properly ventilated.
• This instrument contains digital circuitry and
may cause interference if placed too close to
radio or television receivers. If interference
occurs, move the instrument further away from
the affected equipment.
• Avoid placing vinyl objects on top of the
instrument, vinyl can stick to and discolor the
surface.
• The instrument shall not be exposed to dripping
or splashing and no objects filled with liquids,
such as vases, shall be placed on the
instrument.
POWER
• The instrument should be placed where it is
easy to unplug the power plug
• The instrument is unplugged the power plug
during lightning storn, cleaning or not unused
for long periods of time.
• Turn the power switch off when the instrument is
not in use.
• To avoid damage to the instrument and other
devices to which it is connected, turn the power
switches of all related devices off prior to
connection or disconnection of MIDI cables.
• Turn the power off if the main cable is damaged
or the instrument is spattered with liquid.
• Do not switch the unit on and off in quick
succession, this places an undue load on the
electronic components.
• Avoid plugging the AC power cord into the same
AC outlet as appliances with high power
consumption, such as electric heaters or
refrigerators.
For Veneer Style Wood finish a standard polish
is “pledge” is acceptable.
• To maintain the luster of the keys and buttons
wipe with a clean, slightly damp cloth, and then
polish with a soft dry cloth.

PORT
The following socket board is located on the back of the piano.
1. LINE IN — This interface provides stereo audio input to this piano.
2. LINE OUT — This interface provides stereo audio output to an external amplifier
(such as speaker).
3. MIDI OUT/IN — This piano can send or receive MIDI information through the
standard MIDI cable.
The following socket board is located at the left front side of piano bottom case.
1. HEADPHONES — This piano is equipped with two stereo headphone jack. One
socket is for sound in headphone only. When headphone is plugged to another socket,
you may hear sound from both headphone and piano speakers.

2. MIC.VOLUME — This knob can control the volume of the microphone.
3. MICROPHONE — Plug the microphone cable here please.
4. USB — This USB port is for communicating with a computer through a USB cable.

CONTROLPA N E L
1. PIANO/VOICE — This piano has 16 voices to select.
2. METRO — Metronome function can help cultivate a good rhythm sensation when
playing.
3. REVERB — Reverb effect on/off.
4. FUNCTION — Values and effects can be set with this mode.
5. SONG — This piano has 58 simple songs for listening.
6. DEMO — This piano has 15 demonstration songs for listening.
7. RECORD — One user song can be recorded.
8. PLAY/STOP — This button used to play or stop the demo/song/user song.
9. +/- — This two button is used to the choice of music or feature set.
10. VOLUME — Rotate knob to the right can increase the main volume; rotate knob to
the left, reduce the main volume.

STARTPLAYING
VOLUME
The main volume can be adjusted according to your need.
Rotate knob to the right can increase the main volume; rotate knob to the left, reduce the
main volume.
DEMO
This piano a total of 15 demonstration songs, through a simple operation can enjoy the
beautiful music:
PLAY/STOP DEMONSTRATION SONGS
Press the DEMO button, 15 demonstration songs will be broadcasted in circulation
automatically. Display shows the corresponding number and name.
When demonstration song is in play, press the DEMO button again, the song will be
stopped and exit the DEMO function promptly.
SELECT A DEMONSTRATION SONG
Hold down the DEMO button and press a key of keyboard to select a demonstration song.
Please refer the DEMO KEY NUMBER in APPENDIX.
SONG
Besides demonstration songs, this piano a total of 58 easy songs for your enjoyment:
PLAY/STOP SONGS
Press the SONG button to start the song broadcast, Display shows the corresponding
number and name.
SELECT A SONG
Hold down the SONG button and press a key of the keyboard to select an easy song.
Please refer the SONG KEY NUMBER in APPENDIX.
NOTE:The PLAY/STOP button also can play or stop the demo or song.

VOICE
There are 16 voices for your choice
Press the PIANO/VOICE button to select the Grand Piano voice directly.
Hold down the PIANO/VOICE button and press a key of the keyboard to select a
voice. Please refer the VOICE KEY NUMBER in APPENDIX.
The voice also can be selected with the +/- buttons circularly.
REVERB
REVERB ON/OFF
The reverb effect is open by default, and the indicator light is on.
You can press the REVERB button to exit reverb effect, and indicator turns off.
REVERB LEVEL SELECTION
Hold down the REVERB button and press one of the A0、bB0 or B0 key on the keyboard
to adjust reverb level.
There are 5 degrees of reverb level. The A0 key is used for decreasing the depth of the
effect, the B0 key is used for increasing the depth of the effect. Press the bB0 key to
recover the default level. Please refer to the figure below:

METRO
METRONOME ON/OFF
Press the METRO button with the indicator light on, the metronome sound is on and
indicator will hint the beat.
Press the METRO button again with the indicator light off, the metronome sound is
stopped.

TEMPO ADJUST
Hold down the METRO button and press one of the A0、bB0 or B0 key on the keyboard
to adjust metronome tempo.
The range of tempo adjust is 20-250 beats per minute. The A0 key is used for decreasing
the tempo, the B0 key is used for increasing the tempo. Press the bB0 key to recover the
default tempo. Please refer to the figure above.
BEATS SELECTION
Hold down the METRO button and press one of the #C1、bE1、#F1、bA1、bB1 or #C2
black key on the keyboard to select beat of the metronome. There are 6 types of beat
selectable as shown below:

RECORD
PREPARE FOR RECORDING
There is 1 user song can be recorded. First, choose voice, style, tempo and other settings,
and then press the RECORD button with the indicator light on.
START RECORDING
1) Play the keyboard to start recording, the indicator of PLAY/STOP button turns
from flashing to constant, which means the recording has been begun.
2) When the indicator of PLAY/STOP button is flashing (waiting to record), press
the PLAY/STOP button to start recording after 8 guide beats.
NOTE:
1) Once the recording is started, the previous user song will be overlapped.
2) This piano has power-off protection, thus the user song won’t be lost even
in power outage.
END OF RECORDING
When you are recording, press the RECORD button or the PLAY/STOP button to end
the recording, the indicator of RECORD button will be off.

NOTE: The recording will be saved and automatically ended when it is full.
PLAYBACK THE USER SONG
After finishing the record, there are two ways to play the user song.
1. Press the PLAY/STOP button with the indicator light on to playback the user
song directly.
2. Hold down the SONG button and press key A0 on the keyboard to play the user
song.

FUNCTION
LOCAL
When you play the piano, everything you play is transmitted from MIDI OUT. And at the
same time piano produce its own sound. In this situation, it is LOCAL ON.
In certain circumstances, you may need only MIDI output from the piano without its own
sound. Then you can turn LOCAL to OFF.
Hold down the FUNCTION button and press key A0 on the keyboard to turn local on;
press the bB0 key to turn local off. Please refer to the figure below:

MIDI CHANNEL
There are 16 selectable MIDI transmit cannels.
Hold down the FUNCTION button and press one key of C1—bE2 on keyboard to select
a midi channel.

TRANSPOSE
This piano has TRANSPOSE for playing different music mode easily. With TRANSPOSE
mode, you can sharp or flat the key with range -6--5
Hold down the FUNCTION button and press one key of F2—E3 on keyboard to change
transpose value. Press key B2 to recover the default value 0.

BRIGHTNESS
There are 3 levels for brightness effect.
Hold down the FUNCTION button and press one of the A3、bB3 or B3 key to adjust
brightness effect. 1

TOUCH
The piano offers four types of keyboard touch sensitivity settings.
Hold down the FUNCTION button and press one of the F4— bA4 key on the keyboard
to select touch sensitivity type.
Soft is the most sensitive keyboard response which permits maximum sound levels with a
light touch. It is selected by the F4 key.
Normal is an intermediate response suitable for most styles of music. It is selected by the
#F4 key. Normal is the default setting.
Hard is a less sensitive keyboard response which requires a heavier touch to obtain
maximum sound levels. It is selected by the G4 key.
Fixed does not offer any touch sensitivity. Each key plays at full volume no matter how
hard the piano key is hit. It is selected by the bA4.

MASTER TUNE
The range of master tune adjust is -100—+100 cent.
Hold down the FUNCTION button and press one of the C5、#C5 or D5 key to fine tune
the pitch. The C5 key is for lower the pitch, the D5 key is for higher the pitch, press the
#C5 key to recover its default setting 0. Please refer to the figure below:

MICROPHONE IN LEVEL
The range of microphone level adjust is 0—127.
Hold down the FUNCTION button and press one of the C6、#C6 or D6 key to change
level. The C6 key is used for decreasing the level, the D6 key is used for increasing the
level. Press the #C6 key to recover the default level. Please refer to the figure below:

MICROPHONE REVERB
The range of microphone reverb adjust is 0—127.
Hold down the FUNCTION button and press one of the bE6、E6 or F6 key to change
reverb level. The bE6 key is used for decreasing the level, the F6 key is used for
increasing the level. Press the E6 key to recover the default level. Please refer to the
figure below:

echo level. The #F6 key is used for decreasing the level, the bA6 key is used for

MICROPHONE ECHO TYPE
There are 4 types for microphone echo:

type. The A6 key is used for decreasing the type, the B6 key is used for increasing the

MICROPHONE EQ
There are 10 types for microphone EQ:
Hold down the FUNCTION button and press one of the #F7、G7、bA7 key to adjust type.
The #F7 key is used for decreasing the type, the bA7 key is used for increasing the type.
Press the G7 key to recover the default type. Please refer to the figure below:

FACTORY RESET
You can restore the system of piano to the default setting directly with this function (this
also deletes recording data).
Hold down the FUNCTION button and press A7 key on the keyboard to reset. Please
refer to the figure below:
