BASIC MAINTENANCE
Your steel laboratory table system components are manufactured with a chemical resistant powder
coating that is designed to withstand most of the standard chemicals used in a laboratory
environment. However, prolonged exposure may cause fading or discoloration. To assure that your
new casework keeps similar appearance for years, regularly clean all surfaces.
Clean up liquid spills immediately within the hour.
All exterior surfaces should be wiped regularly with glass cleaner or a solution of water and mild
dish soap. It is important to make sure that this cleaner is compatible with any other chemicals
within the laboratory. Any scratches or surface damages should immediately be touch-up to avoid
corrosion of the exposed metal. Never use abrasive material or steel wool since it might scratch
the finish.
The counter top surfaces can also be cleaned the same way. It is important to immediately wipe
any chemical spillage that may occur and rinse the surface with water. To bring the original luster
back, generously apply lemon oil with a gentle cloth and remove excess.
A meticulous examination of the electrical cables, plumbing hoses and connectors should be
accomplished at least once a year.
Stainless steel components and countertops should be cleaned with stainless steel cleaner. Wipe
only in the direction of the grain to avoid scratching the surface.
Touch-up Paint
For more information about touch-up paint, please get in touch with your local supplier or directly
with the Bedcolab/Bedco after sales service representatives.

BASIC USE
The Symphony 2 Modular Bench System is the ultimate in adaptable laboratory furniture offering a
stable platform with the most complete mobility and flexibility to meet the challenges facing today’s
laboratories.
In addition to easily adjustable work surface and shelving heights, this stand-alone modular table
assembly can be conveniently converted from single unit for wall type applications to double bench
island configuration and vice versa.
The Symphony II Tables are designed and manufactured under the United States Patent No.
D739,554 and the Canadian Patent No. CA2,865,076. The fully integrated plumbing and electrical
services, using quick disconnect fixtures mounted to flexible hoses, allows to quickly and
economically reconfiguring the lab layout at the owner’s discretion.
SYMPHONY TABLE USE
1. The electrical raceway and optional under-counter leg mounted outlets are pre-wired in
the table core structure and connected with a flexible conduit and connector to be
plugged to the ceiling panel female fittings.
2. All plumbing fixtures for water, gas, air, vacuum or other services (optional), are supplied
with the outlets on one of the core structure uprights and pre-piped inside the upright to
quick connect fixtures located on top of the upright. Flexible hoses with quick disconnect
fittings are servicing the tables to the ceiling panel female fittings. The plumbing servicing
can be done through the access panels located on the exterior side of each upright by
unfastening the screw located on top of the access panel and lifting up the panel.
