a) Faultywalloutletconnectionsorlooseplugscancausetheoutletorplugtooverheat.Be
suretheplugfitstightintheoutlet.
b) Heatersdrawmorecurrentthansmallappliances;overheatingoftheoutletmayoccur
evenifithasnotoccurredwiththeuseofotherappliances.
c) DuringusecheckfrequentlytodetermineifyourplugoutletorfaceplateisHOT!Ifso,
discontinueuseoftheheaterandhaveaqualifiedelectriciancheckand/orreplacethe
faultyoutlets.


SetupswithtwoBedJetVETunitspluggedintothesameACcircuitshouldsetLowPowerswitch
ONtoavoidtripping/overloadingthecircuitbreaker.InstallationswhereonlyoneBedJetVETis
usedinaroomshouldleaveLowPowerSwitchOFFtoutilizethefullpowerofthesystem.


WARNING:FailuretocomplywiththecorrectLowPowerONswitchsettingwithmorethan
oneBedJetinstalledonthesameroomACbranchcircuitmayresultinoverloadedelectrical

BedJetVETWirelessRemoteControl:  
AllBedJetVEToperatingmodesareactivatedviathewirelessradioremotecontrol,thereareno
exteriorbuttonslocatedontheBedJetVETbaseunitformanualoperation.Withchargedbatteries
installed,theremotecontrolkeyswilllightupautomaticallywhenpickedup,indicatingremoteis
readyforuse.TheBedJetVETwillbeeptoacknowledgeanycommandreceivedfromtheremote
control.Thewirelessremotecontrolispre‐pairedtoyourBedJetVETunitatthefactory.
However,ifyourBedJetVETisverifiedpoweredON(powerbuttonLEDisON)andwirelessremote
buttonslightupandarepressedbuttheBedJetdoesnotactivate,thenre‐pairtheremotecontrol
tobaseunit.
PairingaNewRemote:Pressandholdthe“LowPower”buttononthebackdisplayoftheBedJet
VETuntilitblinks,indicatingtheunitisinpairingmode.PressandholdtheOFFkeyonyour
remotecontroltocompletethepairing.Successfulpairingwillbeacknowledgedbythreebeeps.















from43°Cto32°Cusingthe+/‐ buttons.Audioannouncementindicatescurrenttemperature
setpoint.
Auto‐shutoffTimerAdjustment:Activationofanyairmodedefaultstheauto‐shutofftimerto4
hours.Onceactive,auto‐shutofftimecanbefurtheradjustedby30‐minuteincrementsusingthe

theunit.Theunithas20fanspeedsettingsandwillstopbeepingwhenupperorlowerfanspeed
limitsarereachedusingthe+/‐buttons.
ProgrammableOne‐TouchMemoryRecall:Frequentlyusedsettingscanberecalledusingthe
one‐touchmemorybuttons.Simplyturntheunitonandsettopreferredtemperature,fanspeed
andauto‐shutoffsettingsandthenpressandholdanymemorykeyfor3secondstosave.When
theunitisinstandby,pressandquicklyreleasethesamememorykeytoactivatetheunitand
recallthesavedsettings.
HEPAFilterChangeReset:Theunitcontainsapermanentserviceclockofoperatinghours.When
400‐hourintervalsarereached,a“CHANGEFILTER”audioalertwillbeheard.Resetthe“CHANGE
FILTER”audioalertaftertheHEPAfilterhasbeenchanged(SeeMaintenancesection)by
simultaneouslypressingthesetupbutton(gearicon)andOFFbuttontheremotecontrol.









Maintenance
TheonlymaintenancerequiredfortheBedJetVETisperiodicreplacementoftheHEPAfilterand
periodiccleaningofthewashableHEPAprefilter.
HEPAPREFILTERCLEANING:ThewashableblackfoamprefilterisinstalledontopoftheHEPA
filterandhelpsextendthelifeofyourHEPAfilter.CleantheHEPAlifetimewashablepre‐filter
every2monthsorwhenvisuallydirty.SimplyremovetheblackfoamprefilterfromHEPAfilter(it
isattachedtofrontofHEPAfilterwithVelcro)andcleanunderrunningwater.Reinstallprefilter
whendryandgentlypushthegrilluntilitsnapsbackinplace.
HEPAFILTERREPLACEMENT:TheHEPAfilterisrecommendedtobereplacedevery400hoursor
every6monthsofregularuse.TheBedJetVETcontainsaHEPAfilterserviceclock.At400hours
theBedJetVETwillgiveanaudiblealertremindertoreplacetheHEPAfilter.
HEPAFILTERSERVICEALARMRESET:Holddownthegeariconbuttonontheremotecontrolwhile
simultaneouslypressingtheOFFbutton.TheHEPAfilterservicealarmshouldnowberesetforan

productthatiscausedbyabuse,misuse,andoperationcontrarytoorinconsistentwiththewritteninstructionsoran
actofGod(suchasaflood)isnotcovered.BEDJETLLCdoesnothaveanyobligationsifourinspectionrevealsthatthe
producthasbeenaltered,modified,damaged,subjectedtoorinvolvedinanaccident,disassembled,repairedor
attemptedtoberepairedbysomeoneotherthanus,orusedinamannerinconsistentwithitsintendedpurpose.

Indirect,special,incidental,orconsequentialdamages(includinganylostrevenues,lossofuseorlostprofits)arenot
recoverableunderthewarranty,orwithrespecttothesaleoruseoftheproduct.Innoeventwillourentireliabilityto
youexceedthepurchasepriceactuallypaidbyyoufortheproduct,oranydefectiveportionthereof,whicheverisless.
