invalidates the granted warranty.
1.1 General safety
• This appliance complies with the
international safety standards.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors
and in the bathroom.
• No responsibility or warranty claim
shall be assumed for damages
arising from misuse or improper
handling of the appliance.
• Never attempt to dismantle or
separate the mounted parts of the
appliance.
• Only use the original parts or
parts recommended by the
manufacturer.
• Always use the appliance on a
stable, flat, clean, dry and non-slip
surface.
• Do not start tocook coffee without
putting water into the coffee pot.
• Do not put any substances apart
from coffee, sugar and water into
the coffee pot.
• Do not drink the cooked coffee
using the coffee pot.
• Due to the manufacturing
technology, steam and odour
may arise at the heating element
of your product during initial use.
It is normal. They will disappear
after a few cycles.
• Do not move the appliance when
it is still hot or when there is liquid
inside the coffee pot.
• Avoid contacting the hot surfaces.
Hold the coffee pot only by its
handle; otherwise there is the
risk of burning. Coffee pot gets
hot during cooking.
• The base (heating surface) on
which the coffee pot is placed
gets hot during operation.
Therefore, do not touch this
area while using and until the
appliance gets cold.
• Ensure that the appliance is
switched off before moving it.
• For additional protection, this
appliance should be connected
to a household current fault
protection circuit breaker of no
more than 30 mA.

• Connect the appliance to a
shockproof socket that has the
correct fuse.
• Do not use it if the power cable or
the appliance itself is damaged.
• Do not use the appliance with an
extension cord.
• Dry the seat of coffee pot before
plugging in the appliance and
seating the parts.
• Do not immerse the appliance,
power cord, or power plug in
water or any other liquids.
• Do not touch the appliance or its
plug with damp or wet hands.
• Position the appliance in such
a way that the plug is always
accessible.
• Prevent damage to the power
cable by not squeezing, bending,
or rubbing it on sharp edges. Keep
the power cable away from hot
surfaces and naked flame.
• Make sure that there is no
danger that the power cord could
be accidentally pulled or that
someone could trip over it when
the appliance is in use.
• Unplug the appliance if any failure
occurs.
• Unplug the appliance before
cleaning it and never clean it
when it is in use.
• Do not pull the power cable of
the appliance to unplug the
appliance from the outlet and do
not wrap its power cable around
the appliance.
• Your mains power supply should
comply with the information
supplied on the rating plate of the
appliance.

symbol for waste electrical and electronic

This symbol indicates that this product
shall not be disposed with other
household wastes at the end of its
service life. Used device must be
returned to offical collection point for
recycling of electrical and electronic devices. To
find these collection systems please contact to
your local authorities or retailer where the product
was puchased. Each household performs
important role in recovering and recycling of old
appliance. Appropriate disposal of used appliance
helps prevent potential negative consequences

3.1 Initial use
Make sure that the appliance stands upright on a
balanced, flat, clean, dry and non-skid surface.
3.2 Cooking
1. Connect the plug to the wall socket.
-The appliance will switch on automatically.
2. Clean the coffee pot (7) by washing under
running water.

To obtain a tasty coffee, make sure
that the inside of the coffee pot (7)
is dry and clean.

First time use: Run the appliance at
least 4 times without adding coffee.
3. Put coffee, sugar and water for one, two or
three persons into the coffee pot (7).

If you notice agglomeration or dry
coffee at the surface it is recom-
mended to stir the coffee mixture
with a plastic or wooden spoon (do
not use metal spoon) before starting
to cook it.

Make sure that there are no water
drops underneath the coffee pot (7)
when preparing the coffee. Otherwise,
an annoying noise will arise when the
water drops get into contact with the
hot base.
4. Place the coffee pot (7) onto its seat.
AWARNING:
Appliance will not
start unless you place the coffee
pot properly onto its seat.
5. Press start cooking button (2).
- The appliance will give an audio warning
(beep) and status light (2) will turn into red as
soon as the appliance starts operating.

Cooking time is 1-1.5 min. for 1 person.
1.5-2.5 min. for 2 persons and 2-3.5
min. for 3 persons.

cooking as the heating surface (5) will
already be hot.

For a tasty coffee, take the coffee
pot (7) from the coffee pot base (3)
without waiting!

Pour coffee swiftly in order to
ensure the foam and grounds are
fully transferred to the coffee pot.

Keep the start cooking button (2)
pressed for 3 sec. to cancel cooking
coffee for any reason.
6. When the coffee is ready, the appliance will give
an audio warning and status light (2) will start
to flash in red.
7. When the coffee is ready, transfer it to the
coffee cup and serve.
AWARNING:
Pay attention not to
stain the heating surface. If coffee
spills onto the heating surface, wipe
it with a lightly dampened cloth.

3.3 Quantities
This is an easy-to-use appliance designed to cook
coffee. You can cook foamy coffee that suits to your
tastes by using the quantities in the table. Following
quantitiesare providedonlyfor informationpurposes.
You can adjust them as per your personal tastes.
•Add sufficient coffee for one, two or three
persons by using the measuring spoon, desired
amount of sugar and required amount of water
for your cup size (recommended cup size is 65
ml) into the cooking reservoir.
•The specified amounts correspond to a
medium-sized cup for one person. You can use
the measuring spoon provided as the measuring
spoon for the coffee. To prepare delicious coffee
with foam, please use fine, fresh coffee that is
suitable for Turkish coffee.
3.4 Sleep mode
If no operation is performed on the device for 3
minutes, it will give an audio warning (beep) and
switch to stand-by mode. When an operation is
performed (coffee pot is placed/removed onto/
from its base or the start button is pressed) 2
audio warnings (beeps) is given. Status light turns
into white and the appliance becomes ready to
operate.

4.1 Cleaning
AWARNING:
Do not carry the
appliance when the coffee pot is
placed onto its base. Coffee pot
may get damaged.
AWARNING:
Never use gasoline,
solvent, abrasive cleaning agents,
metal objects or hard brushes to
clean the appliance.
AWARNING:
Never immerse the
appliance or its power cable in water
or in any other liquid.
1. Unplug the appliance before starting any
cleaning procedure.
2. Wait for the appliance to cool down.
3. Remove the coffee pot (7) from its base (3).
4. Clean the coffee pot (7) under running water.

Do not clean the heating surface (5)
and coffee pot with abrasive sponge
or steel wool. Wash it with a soft
sponge. Pat particular attention not
to scratch these surfaces.
AWARNING:
Never wash the
coffee pot (7) in dishwasher.
AWARNING:
Do not wash any part
oftheappliance apartfrom thecoffee
pot. You can wipe with a damp cloth.

In order to preserve the taste of the
coffee you would prepare, clean the
coffee pot (7) after every cooking
operation without waiting.
5. Use a damp and soft cloth and a little amount
of soft cleanser in order to clean the exterior of
the appliance.

6. Place the coffee pot (7) onto its seat.
4.1.1 Descaling
To remove thetraces (scales) that may buildup inside
the coffee pot as a result of usage in time without
damaging theinnerbottomsurface of thecoffee pot,
pour a cup of half water-half vinegar mixture into
the coffee pot and press start cooking (2) button.
At the end of cooking, rinse the coffee pot (7) and
use it as usual.
4.2 Storage
•If you do not intend to use the appliance for a
long time, store it carefully.
•Please make sure that the appliance is
unplugged, cooled down and totally dry.
•Store the appliance in a cool and dry place.
•Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
4.3 Handling and
transportation
•During handling and transportation, carry
the appliance in its original packaging. The
packaging of the appliance protects it against
physical damages.
•Do not place heavy loads on the appliance or the
packaging. The appliance may be damaged.
•Dropping the appliance will render it
nonoperational or cause permanent damage.

First check whether the appliance is plugged in or not.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS
The following conditions apply only in relations to the warranty expressly given on this Warranty Advice Form supplied with the product. This
warranty only applies to appliances purchased and used in Australia or New Zealand and is in addition to )and does not exclude, restrict or
modify in any way( other rights and remedies under a law to which the appliances relate, including any non-excludable statutory guarantees in
Australia and New Zealand. It applies to the original purchaser and for appliances used in domestic applications only.
1. This warranty does not apply:
(a) if the identification number attached to the appliance has been altered, rendered illegible or removed;
(b) to light globes;
(c) to paint and vitreous enamel finishes and glass;
(d) to surfaces damaged by use of aerosols or cleaners;
(e) if the appliance has been –
(i) subject to misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, fire or floods;
(ii) connected or improper, inadequate or faulty electricity, gas, water or drainage services or intake or exhaust
ducts or flues, or operated using incorrect or contaminated fuels or lubricants;
(iii) installed, maintained or operated otherwise than in accordance with the instructions furnished by Beko including the
improper use of detergents, bleaches, cleaners or other additives;
(iv) damaged by foreign objects in the appliance;
(v) serviced, repaired or altered otherwise than by Beko authorised service agents of Beko, or using other than Beko
approved replacement parts.
2. The purchaser shall be responsible for any expenses involved in making the appliances readily accessible for servicing, the purchaser
shall be responsible for any costs of transporting the appliance or parts thereof to and from the nearest Beko authorised service agent.
3. This warranty is the only expressed warranty given by Beko.
4. Beko reserves the right to determine whether or not the fault is caused by faulty workmanship or material or that any part is defective.
5. Where permitted by law, this warranty shall not apply to loss suffered through or resulting from the non-operation or the ineffective
operation of the appliance or any part of the appliance.
6. The purchaser must produce proof of the date of purchase together with this Warranty Advise Form when making a claim.
7. Subject to your statutory rights as to the merchantable quality of the product or accessory. In the event of a product or accessory being
replaced during the guarantee, the guarantee on the replacement will expire at the original date, i.e., 12 months from the original
purchase date.
8. Australia: For Appliances and services provided by Beko in Australia, Beko goods come with a guarantee by Beko that cannot be
excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for
any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the Appliance repaired or replaced if the Appliance
fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. ‘Acceptable quality’ and ‘major failure’ have the
same meaning as referred to in the Australian Consumer Law.
9. New Zealand: For Appliances and services provided by Beko in New Zealand, the Appliances come with a guarantee by Beko
pursuant to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act, the Sales of Goods Act and the Fair Trading Act. Where the Appliance
