1.1 General safety
• Ths applance comples wth the nternatonal safety
standards.
• Do not use the applance outdoors and n the
bathroom.
• No responsblty or warranty clam shall be assumed

• Never attempt to dsmantle or separate the mounted
parts of the applance.
• Only use the orgnal parts or parts recommended by
the manufacturer.
• Always use the applance on a stable, flat, clean, dry
and non-slp surface.
• Do not start to cook coffee wthout puttng water
nto the coffee pot.

• Do not put any substances apart from coffee, sugar
and water nto the coffee pot.
• Do not drnk the cooked coffee usng the coffee pot.
• Due to the manufacturng technology, steam and
odour may arse at the heatng element of your
product durng ntal use. It s normal. They wll
dsappear after a few cycles.
• Do not move the applance when t s stll hot or when
there s lqud nsde the coffee pot.
• Avod contactng the hot surfaces. Hold the coffee
pot only by ts handle; otherwse there s the rsk of
burnng. Coffee pot gets hot durng cookng.
• The base (heatng surface) on whch the coffee pot
s placed gets hot durng operaton. Therefore, do not
touch ths area whle usng and untl the applance
gets cold.
• Ensure that the applance s swtched off before
movng t.
• For addtonal protecton, ths applance should be
connected to a household current fault protecton
crcut breaker of no more than 30 mA.

• Connect the applance to a shockproof socket that
has the correct fuse.
• Do not use t f the power cable or the applance tself
s damaged.
• Do not use the applance wth an extenson cord.
• Dry the seat of coffee pot before pluggng n the
applance and seatng the parts.
• Do not mmerse the applance, power cord, or power
plug n water or any other lquds.
• Do not touch the applance or ts plug wth damp or
wet hands.
• Poston the applance n such a way that the plug s
always accessble.
• Preventdamage tothepowercable bynotsqueezng,
bendng,orrubbng ton sharpedges. Keepthe power
cable away from hot surfaces and naked flame.
• Make sure that there s no danger that the power
cord could be accdentally pulled or that someone
could trp over t when the applance s n use.
• Unplug the applance f any falure occurs.

only. It s not desgned for professonal use n:
- staff ktchen areas n shops, offces and other
workng envronments;
- farm houses;
- by clents n hotels, motels, and other resdental
type envronment

• Do not use the applance for anythng other than ts
ntended use.
• Ths applance can only be used to cook coffee.
• Extreme cauton s advsed when beng used near
chldren and persons who are restrcted n ther
physcal, sensory or mental abltes.
• Ths applance may be used by chldren who are at
the age of 8 or over and the people whose physcal,

nexperenced or not knowledgeable about the

play wth the applance.

1.2 Complance wth the WEEE Drectve and
dsposal of waste products
Thsproduct doesnotnclude harmfulandprohbted materalsspecf-
ed n the “Regulaton for Supervson of the Waste Electrc and
Electronc Applances” ssued by the Mnstry of Envronment and
Urban Plannng. Comples wth the WEEE Regulaton. Ths applance
has been manufactured wth hgh qualty parts and materals whch
can be reused and are sutable for recyclng. Therefore, do not dspose the appl-
ance wth normal domestc waste at the end of ts servce lfe. Take t to a collec-
ton pont for the recyclng of electrcal and electronc equpment. Ask the local
authorty n your area for these collecton ponts. Help protect the envronment
and natural resources by recyclng used products.

2 Operaton
2.1 Cookng
Before addng coffee, rnse at least four tmes wth clean water.
To obtan a tasty coffee, make sure that the nsde of the coffee-
makng reservor s dry and clean.
If you notce agglomeraton or dry coffee at the surface, t s
recommended to str the coffee mxture wth a plastc or wo-
oden spoon (do not use metal spoon) before startng to make
the coffee.
Make sure that there are no water drops underneath the cof-
fee-makng reservor when preparng the coffee. Otherwse,
an annoyng nose wll arse when the water drops get nto
contact wth the hot base.
WARNING: Whle addng coffee, sugar and water, do not
exceed the maxmum level (5) lne nsde the coffee-makng
pot (4).
WARNING: Do not put any other object other than the pro-
vded spoon or wooden spoon nto the pot.
WARNING: Applance wll not start unless you place the
coffee pot properly onto ts seat.

Cookng tme s 1-1.5 mn. for 1 person. , 1.5-2.5 mn. for 2 persons
and 2-3.5 mn. for 3 persons, 3-4 mn. for 4 persons.
For a tasty coffee, take the coffee pot (4) from the coffee pot
base (2) wthout watng!
Pour coffee swftly n order to ensure the foam and grounds are
fully transferred to the coffee pot.
Keep the start cookng button (1) pressed for 3 sec. to cancel
cookng coffee for any reason.

2.2 Quanttes
Ths s an easy-to-use applance desgned to cook coffee. You can cook
foamy coffee that suts to your tastes by usng the quanttes n the table.
Followng quanttes are provded only for nformaton purposes. You can
adjust them as per your personal tastes.
•Add suffcent coffee for one, two, three or four persons by usng the
measurng spoon, desred amount of sugar and requred amount of
water for your cup sze (recommended cup sze s 65 ml) nto the cof-
fee-makng reservor.
•These amounts are for a one-servng medum cup. You can use the me-
asurng spoon provded wth the product for measurng the amount of
coffee. For a foamy, delcous coffee, use fne grnd fresh coffee su-
table for makng Turksh coffee.

sugar.

3 Cleanng and care
3.1 Cleanng
WARNING: Never use gasolne, solvent, abrasve cleanng
agents, metal objects or hard brushes to clean the applance.
WARNING: Never mmerse the applance or ts power cable
n water or n any other lqud.
WARNING: Use a dry cloth to wpe the water droplets that
appear on the sensor glass after consecutve coffee-makng
cycles.
WARNING: Never wash the coffee pot (4) n dshwasher.
3.1.2 Descalng
To clean the stans (deposts) that mght appear n the coffee-makng re-
servor n tme wthout harmng the nner base surface, pour one dessert
spoon of ctrc acd crystals to the coffee-makng reservor and pour bo-
lng water on t, so that water flls 1/3 of the pot. Wat for 10 mnutes. At
the end of the watng process, you can rnse the coffee-makng reservor
(4) and use t agan.
WARNING: If you do not perform the descalng process for a
long tme, the base of the water reservor of the applance gets
covered wth lme and becomes noperable.

3.2 Storage
•If you do not ntend to use the applance for a long tme, store t care-
fully.
•Please make sure that the applance s unplugged, cooled down and
totally dry.
•Store the applance n a cool and dry place.
•Keep the applance out of the reach of chldren.
3.3 Handlng and transportaton
•Durng handlng and transportaton, carry the applance n ts orgnal
packagng. The packagng of the applance protects t aganst physcal
damages.
•Do not place heavy loads on the applance or the packagng. The appl-
ance may be damaged.
•Droppng the applance wll render t nonoperatonal or cause perma-
nent damage.
