This section contains safety instructions that will
help protect from risk of personal injury or material
damage.
Failure to follow these instructions voids any grant-
ed warranty.
1.1 General safety
• This appliance complies with international safety
standards.
• This appliance may be used by children who are at
the age of 8 or over and the people whose physical,
perceptive or mental skills are impaired or who
are inexperienced or not knowledgeable about
the appliance as long as they are supervised or
informed and made understood the safe use of the
appliance and the encountered dangers. Children
should not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and maintenance should not be performed
by children unless they are older than 8 years old
and supervised.
• Keep the appliance and its power cable so that they
are inaccessible by children under 8 years old.

• Ifthepower cableor theapplianceitselfisdamaged,
do not use it. Contact an authorised service.
• Your mains power supply should comply with the
information supplied on the rating plate of the
appliance.
• For additional protection, this appliance should be
connected to a residual current device with a rating
of no more than 30 mA.
• Use the appliance with a grounded outlet.
• Do not use the appliance with an extension cable.
• Prevent damage to the power cable by not
squeezing, bending, or rubbing it on sharp edges.
• Do not touch the plug of the appliance with damp
or wet hands.
• Do not immerse the appliance or its power cable in
water.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is
plugged in.
• Exterior surface gets hot while the appliance is
in use. Do not touch hot surfaces to avoid risk of
burning.

• Do not leave metal cooking utensils and items on
cooking plates.
• Operate and store the appliance on a stable surface.
• Do not attempt to dismantle the appliance.
• Only use the original parts or parts recommended
by the manufacturer.
• Unplug the appliance before cleaning and let it
completely dry after cleaning.
• Clean only the outer surface and the plates
according to the instructions in the Cleaning and
Care chapter.
• The appliance is not suitable for outdoor use.
• The appliance should not be operated with an external
clock timer or separate remote control system.
• Food items can catch fire due to overheating. Do not
allow the appliance to get in contact or be covered
with flammable items such as curtains, fabric, wall
panels and etc.
• Never use the appliance in or near places where
combustible or inflammable ambience or places are
present.

• Do not use charcoal or similar flammable fuels with
this appliance.
• If you keep the packaging materials, store them out
of the reach of children.
1.2 Compliance with the WEEE Regulations
and Waste Disposal
This product complies with EU WEEE Directive (2012/19/EU). This prod-
uct bears a classification symbol for waste electrical and electronic equip-
ment (WEEE).
This symbol indicates that this product shall not be disposed
with other household wastes at the end of its service life. Used
device must be returned to offical collection point for recycling
of electrical and electronic devices. To find these collection
systems please contact to your local authorities or retailer
where the product was puchased. Each household performs important
role in recovering and recycling of old appliance. Appropriate disposal of
used appliance helps prevent potential negative consequences for the en-
vironment and human health..

1.3 Compliance with RoHS Directive
The product you have purchased complies with EU RoHS Directive
(2011/65/EU). It does not contain harmful and prohibited materials speci-
fied in the Directive.
1.4 Package information
Packaging materials of the product are manufactured from recy-
clable materials in accordance with our National Environment
Regulations. Do not dispose of the packaging materials together
with the domestic or other wastes. Take them to the packaging
material collection points designated by the local authorities.
1.5 Things to do for energy saving
Switch off and unplug the appliance after using it. Select appropriate tem-
peratures when cooking your food.

3.1 Intended use
This appliance is intended only for
household use and cooking; it is not
suitable for professional use.
3.2 Initial use
Since smoke may be emitted during
first use, operate the product with
no load and make sure that the
room is well-ventilated.
3.3 Starting the
appliance
A
WARNING:
Make
sure that both cook-
ing plates (6/7) are
fitted before operat-
ing the appliance.
1. Plug in the appliance.
2. Push the locking slider (2) down
to position “ ”.
3. Set the thermostat button (4)
which is at position “0” to the
desired cooking position.
3.4 Toasting and
grilling
1. Set the thermostat button (4)
to the desired temperature
position (1-4).
– Thermostat light (5) lights up
in red and goes off when the
set temperature is attained.

Cooking plates will
not start heating
between position "0"
and "1".
2. Hold the upper lid from the han-
dle (1) and open upwards.
3. Toast or grill in the desired posi-
tion.
– Place the food on the cooking
plate(s) (6/7).
Plates closed
This position is suitable to use up-
per and lower cooking plates (6/7)
in closed position when grilling. It is
preferable to prepare sandwiches,
toast/sandwich toast, pizza, waf-
fle, burgers etc.

Thermostat must be
set to temperature
position "4" for grill-
ing.
Plates of the appliance are
in grill oven position
This position must be preferred for
foods that should not be pressed as
in toasts but require to be heated
from above too.
– When the upper lid is in 90o
position, pull it upwards from its
handle (1) and recline towards
the front.
– Repeat these steps in reverse
order to close again.
Plates half-open
It must be used to cook on the low-
er cooking plate (6/7).
– Lift the upper lid (1) from the
handle and leave it at 90o
position.
WARNING:
Upper
cooking plate is hot
(6/7).
Two plates in horizontal
position
This position provides two large
grilling areas. It must be preferred
for cooking sausages, steak, fish,
vegetables etc.
– When the upper lid is in 90o
position, pull it upwards from its
handle (1) and recline backwards
until it attains horizontal
position.
– Repeat these steps in reverse
order to close again.

WARNING:
Use
cutlery which are
wooden or made of
heat-resistant plastic
to turn the food or
take the food from
the cooking plates.
4. When the cooking procedure is
complete, take the food from the
plate(s) by lifting upper lid from
the handle (1) in closed or half-
closed position.

WARNING:

5. Set the thermostat button (4)
to position "0".
6. Unplug the appliance and wait
for it to cool down.
7. Hold the upper lid from the han-
dle (1) to close.
3.5 Oil collection
containers
•Use oil collection containers (8)
for foods that may release fats
or other liquids.
•Both plates of the appliance are
equipped with oil flow channels
(3).
•Use one oil collection container
(8) when the plates are in closed
position and two when they are
in open position.
1. Place oil collection container(s)
(8) under the oil flow channel(s)
(3) (see 2.1, figure 9).
2. Take out and clean the oil collec-
tion containers (8) at the end of
the operation (see 4.2).

3.6 Detaching /
attaching the plates
WARNING:
Make
sure that the appli-
ance is completely
cold before touching
the cooking plates
(6/7). Do not touch
the cooking plates
when hot.
1. Hold the upper lid from the han-
dle (1) to open.
2. Push the plate locking latches
located on the front side of the
lower and upper cooking plates
(6/7).
– Remove the plates by hand.
3. To attach the cooking plates
(6/7) again, place the cook-
ing plates into the seats at the
inner-back section of the appli-
ance and seat the in place.
3.7 Double-sided
cast cooking plates
Cooking plates (6/7) can be used
double sided in flat and grill posi-
tions. You can use flat side of the
plate to cook eggs.

3.8 Cooking setting and durations
Thermostat settings and approximate cooking durations for certain foods
are provided on the lid of the appliance.

4.1 Cleaning
1. Set the appliance to " " position
and unplug it.
2. Wait for the appliance to cool
down completely.
3. Remove the cooking plates (6/7).
(see 3.5).
•Use a damp cloth to clean the
outer surface of the appliance.
Dry off the outer surface thor-
oughly.
•You can keep the cooking plates
(6/7) in lukewarm water for
about 5 minutes and then clean
them with some dishwashing liq-
uid and a soft sponge.
•You can wipe the inner body sec-
tion where plates are attached
with a slightly damp cloth.

Never let electrical
parts contact water
or get damp.

When cleaning the
cooking plates (6/7),
use only a sponge
or a soft cloth not
to damage the non-
stick coating.
AWARNING:
Do not
wash the cooking
plates (6/7) in
dishwasher.
•Dry all parts with a soft towel be-
fore starting to use the appliance
after cleaning it.

White
water stains may
form on the cooking
plates if left wet.

4 Cleaning and care

WARNING:
It is
recommended to
clean the cooking
plates after they
have cooled down
after each cooking
process in order to
facilitate cleaning.
4.2 Storage
•Unplug the appliance and let it
cool down before storing it.
•Hold and close the upper lid from
the handle (1) and set the locking
slider (2) to position “ ”.
•You can store the appliance in
the upright position.
•If you do not intend to use the
appliance for a long time, store it
carefully.
•Store the appliance in a cool and
dry place.
•Keep the appliance and cable out
of the reach of children.
4.3 Handling and
transportation
•During handling and transporta-
tion, carry the appliance in its
original packaging. The packag-
ing of the appliance protects it
against physical damages.
•Do not place heavy loads on the
appliance or on the packaging.
The appliance may get damaged.
•Dropping the appliance may ren-
der it non-operational or cause
permanent damage.

• Vaše mrežno napajanje strujom mora biti u skladu
sa informacijama na pločici na aparatu.
• Za dodatnu zaštitu, ovaj aparat bi trebalo da bude
povezan sa uređajem diferencijalne struje čija
nominalna jačina struje nije veća od 30 mA.
• Aparat koristite sa uzemljenom utičnicom.
• Nemojte koristiti uređaj sa produžnim kablom.
• Sprečite oštećenje kabla za napajanje tako što ga
nećete stiskati, savijati ili trljati ga po oštrim ivicama.
