Useful information
1- Suggestions on opening time of the wine before it is tasted :
Normal quality wines Just before drinking
Quality white wines Approximately 10 minutes before
Young red wines Approximately 10 minutes before
Dense and mature red wines Approximately 3-60 minutes before
2- How long an opened wine can be stored?
Mouth of the wine bottles that you did not fully consume after opening and
intend to stored in order to drink later must be securely closed and the bottle
must be stored in a cool and dry place. Carbon dioxide in the wine mixes into
the air (evaporates) together with various valuable aromatic substances and
thus, the bouquet and taste of the wine lose its freshness.
Therefore, the best and the most enjoyable option is to completely consume
the opened wines and those at best time to drink.
However, wines that are securely closed can be stored in cool places with the
following periods (not advised).
Normal and quality white wines Normal and high quality red wines
%75 Full bottle 3 – 5 days 4 – 7 days
%50 Full bottle 2 – 3 days 3 – 5 days
Less 1 days 2 days
3- Suggested optimum service temperatures of some wines
6 °C Sweet white wines
6 – 8 °C Semidry white and sparkling wine
8 – 10 ° C Dry white and dry rose
16 – 18 ° C Dry red wines
Silver
Inner surfaces of the refrigerator are rendered antibacterial by means of the
silver-ion additive. Thus, growth and reproduction of bacteria on interior body
parts are prevented.
