9. Click on set up wizard in the top left of the screen below the iiNet logo.
10. Place a tick in the box for VoIP Account 1 or 2 and enter your VoIP Phone number
(with no spaces) and VoIP password.
On the back of the physical ATA unit you will see two ports for the telephone cord,
ensure that you have physically connected the telephone in the corresponding
physical Line 1 or Line 2 port in the back of the ATA unit.
11. Select the state in Australia that you are residing in from the drop down menu next to
the state option.
12. Ensure you have the correct details entered with no spaces andthen click on the
apply changes button.
13. Click on the ‘restart ATA’ button
14. Click ‘OK’ –the ATA will restart and take approximately 14 seconds.
15. You should notice the lights on the front of the ATA will illuminate –you should see
the following lights:
a) Power -
b) Connected –
c) and either phone line 1 or 2 illuminated.
Troubleshooting
If, after completing the above steps you do not see either phone line 1 or 2
illuminated please ensure that you are connected to the internet by trying to surf the
web. If you are confident you are connected to the internet then please ensure that
you have entered your VoIP phone number and password correctly (step 10 through
to 14 above). If after checking these two issues you still see no line 1 or 2
illumination then please turn off the ATA and wait for 1 hour before turning the ATA
back on –if after a few minutes the ATA Line 1 or 2 light does not illuminate please
