supply.

port*.Plugthe Adapter spower supply intoawall outlet.

For the bestresults,place the UniversalWireless AV Adapter (the
Adapter)nexttoyour TV or AV equipmentinan openlocation
away fromlarge metalobjectsandmagnetssuchasthose foundin
speakers.Raisingthe Adapter above floor level can improve the
strengthofyour wireless signal.
Note:Oncesetup,thedeviceneedstobe restored tofactorydefaults
(eitherviafirmware GUIor viaholding the reset button for10seconds,
andthen repeatingthesetupprocess).

Integrated 802.11n Wireless Bridge:
Utilizes Dual-Band network technology (2.4GHz and 5GHz), allowing
interference-free bandwidth to all your connected AV devices
Integrated 4-Port 10/100 Switch
Your Adapter has a built-in, 4-port network switch to connect your
wired AV devices to the Internet.

ResettingtheUniversalWireless AV Adapter
RestartyourAdapter
ResetButton
The “Reset”button isused inrarecaseswhen the Adaptermayfunction improperly. Resetting
the Adapterwill restorethe Adapter snormaloperation whilemaintaining the programmed
settings. You can alsorestorethe factorydefaultsettingsbyusing the “Reset”button.

ResettingtheUniversal Wireless AVAdapter
Pushand releasethe “Reset”button. The light on the Adapterwillmomentarilyflashand then
becomesolidagain, indicating the reset iscomplete.
RestoringYourAdaptertoFactoryDefaults
Press andholdthe “Reset”button foratleast 10 seconds, and then releaseit.Thelighton the
Adapterwillbecomeblue/amberinan alternating flashpatternindicating that theAdapterisready
tobe set up again.

Troubleshooting
BelkinSetup cannotfind myUniversal Wireless AVAdapter.
IfBelkinSetup isnotable tocommunicate withyour Adapter
duringthe installation process,pleasemake sure thatthe wireless
router isturnedon andhasInternetconnectivity.
The Adapter ishavingtroubleconnectingtomywireless network.
BlinkingAmber LED:
Thisindicatesthat theAdapterisnotconnectedtoyourwireless
network. PleasemovetheAdapterclosertoyourrouter.

SolidAmber LED:
Thisindicatesthat theAdapterisconnectedtoyourwireless
network,butthesignalisweak.Youmightexperienceslower
performance. Pleasemove theAdapterclosertoyourrouter.
Mywireless networkperformance isslow,inconsistent,suffersfromweak
signal,or I’mhavingdifficultymaintainingaconnection withmywireless
network.
Wirelesstechnologyisradio-based,whichmeansconnectivity
andthethroughputperformance betweendevices decreases
whenthedistancebetweendevicesincreases.Otherfactorsthat
will causesignaldegradation (metalisgenerallytheworst
culprit)areobstructionssuchas wallsandmetalappliances.
Notealsothatconnectionspeedmaydecreaseasyou move
yourAdapterfartherawayfromtherouter.

Belkinwillrepairorreplace, atitsoption,anydefectiveproduct free of charge
(except forshipping chargesforthe product).Belkinreservesthe right to
discontinue anyofitsproductswithoutnotice,and disclaimsanylimited warranty
torepairorreplaceanysuchdiscontinued products. Intheeventthat Belkinis
unabletorepairorreplacethe product(forexample, becauseit hasbeen
discontinued), Belkinwilloffereitherarefund oracredit towardthepurchaseof
anotherproduct fromBelkin.cominan amount equaltothe purchasepriceof the
productasevidenced on the originalpurchasereceipt asdiscountedbyits
naturaluse.

Allabovewarrantiesarenulland voidif the Belkinproductisnot providedto
BelkinforinspectionuponBelkinsrequest at the soleexpenseofthe purchaser,
orif Belkindeterminesthat the Belkinproducthasbeen improperlyinstalled,
altered inanyway, ortampered with.The BelkinProductWarrantydoesnot
protect against actsof Godsuchasflood,lightning, earthquake, war, vandalism,
theft, normal-usewearand tear,erosion, depletion, obsolescence,abuse,
damage due tolowvoltagedisturbances(i.e.brownoutsorsags), non-authorized
program, orsystemequipment modificationoralteration.

Toget serviceforyourBelkinproduct youmust takethe following steps:
1. Contact BelkinInternational, Inc., at 12045 E.Waterfront Drive, Playa
Vista, CA90094, Attn: CustomerService, orcall(800)-223-5546, within15 days
of the Occurrence. Beprepared toprovide thefollowinginformation:
a. The partnumberof the Belkinproduct.
b.Whereyoupurchased the product.
c.Whenyou purchased theproduct.
d. Copyof originalreceipt.

2. YourBelkinCustomerServiceRepresentativewilltheninstructyou on
howtoforwardyourreceipt and Belkinproduct and howtoproceed withyour
claim.
Belkinreservesthe right toreviewthe damaged Belkinproduct. Allcostsof
shipping the Belkinproduct toBelkinforinspectionshallbe bornesolelybythe
purchaser. If Belkindetermines,initssolediscretion, thatitisimpracticaltoship
the damaged equipment toBelkin, Belkinmaydesignate,initssolediscretion,an
equipment repairfacilitytoinspect and estimatethe costtorepairsuch
equipment. The cost, ifany, of shipping the equipment toand fromsuchrepair
facilityand of suchestimateshallbe borne solelybythe purchaser. Damaged
equipmentmust remainavailableforinspectionuntilthe claimisfinalized.
Wheneverclaimsaresettled,Belkinreservesthe righttobe subrogated under
anyexisting insurancepoliciesthe purchasermayhave.
