Important Safeguards
When using any electrical appliance, especially when children are
present, basic precautions should always be followed, especially the
following: -
READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND KEEP THEM
HANDY FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
•Always operate this electrical appliance from a power source of
the same voltage as indicated on the identification plate.
•This electrical appliance was not intended for use by young
children or infirm persons without supervision.
•Do not operate this electrical appliance with a damaged cord,
plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in
any manner. Return this electrical appliance to the manufacturer
for examination, repair or adjustment.
•Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with this electrical appliance.
•Always “unplug the electrical appliance” immediately after use.
•Under no circumstances should this electrical appliance be
placed in water or other liquid.
•Do not use this electrical appliance with wet or moist hands.
•If this electrical appliance falls into water, “unplug it” immediately.
Do not reach into the water.
•Do not operate this electrical appliance if it is not working
properly, or it has been damaged or dropped into water or any
other liquid.
•This electrical appliance must only be used for its intended use
as indicated in the instruction manual. This electrical appliance is
only for domestic household use.
•Do not leave this electrical appliance unattended when in use.
•Do not operate this electrical appliance outdoors.
•Ensure that the cord is kept away from heated surfaces.

•Switch off and remove the plug from the power outlet before
cleaning and when not in use. To unplug, grasp the plug and pull
from the power outlet.
•Do not carry this electrical appliance by the cord.
•Do not place or store this electrical appliance in a position where
it may fall into a bathtub, hand basin, sink or other body of water
or any other liquid.
•Always use this electrical appliance on a dry and level surface.
•Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or
working surface.
•Do not place this electrical appliance near a gas flame, electric
element or in a heated oven.
•Do not use this electrical appliance with an extension cord.
•Do not operate this electrical appliance where aerosol products
are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
•Always follow cleaning and usage instructions
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of shock or damage
to the product, do not disassemble any serviceable parts
inside.
Before First Use
•Read all instructions carefully and keep them for future
reference
•Carefully unpack the food processor and make sure all the
parts as listed in the manual are located in the box.
•We recommend you keep all the packaging material in a
safe place in case you wish to repack the product for
shipping purpose.
•Wipe off any dust from the surface with a clean, slightly
dampened cloth (not dry) and then thoroughly dry them.
•Do not use any abrasive cleaners as they may scratch the
surface.
•We recommend you wash all the removable parts (refer to
diagram) to clean any manufacturing residue from the
surface of the new parts.
CAUTION: The blades are very sharp. Take
precautions to prevent cutting yourself.

Operating Instructions
CAUTION: The appliance will not work if the blender
and processor bowl is not positioned properly and both lids
are not turned and locked in place. Refer to more
instructions below.
1/ Cap (for blender lid)
•The cap is removable from the lid while the blender is in
operation to allow additional food to be added. It also
allows air expansion for blending hot food (between 30-
60 degrees C)
2/ Lid
•Blender will only work if lid has been closed and locked
in a clockwise direction until both lower and upper
spouts are aligned. To open, press the knob on the
handle to release and open in an anti clockwise
direction.
3/ Release button for blender cover
•To open, press the knob on the handle to release and
open lid in an anti clockwise direction.
4/ Blender bowl with interlocking switch activator
•Blender bowl will blend up to 5 cups of liquid. It mixes
liquids and dry ingredients.
•Can crush ice cubes, liquefy vegetables and fruits; make
ice drinks, milkshakes and thick shakes. Puree foods for
babies, special diets; turn food leftovers into soups and
sandwich spreads. Blend sauces; make breadcrumbs,
grind coffee beans and much more.
•Blender base has to be locked into the brackets on the
motor base in an anti clockwise direction. Blender lid has
to be closed and locked in a clockwise direction until
both lower and upper spouts are.
5/ Switch
•Used for both Blender and Food Processor functions.
•The blender cannot be used unless the mixing bowl (10)
and mixing bowl lid (9) are put in place.
•To activate both blender and processor, blender base
has to be locked into the brackets on the motor base in
an anti clockwise direction with the handle facing the
right side of the food processor. Blender lid has to be
closed and locked in a clockwise direction until both

lower and upper spouts are aligned. Processor bowl has
to be seated neatly on the base of the plastic housing
and the lid with plastic clip is closed and locked in place
(located between the processor bowl and motor housing)
in an anti clockwise
.
•To activate processor without the blender, blender drive
cover must be closed and locked in an anti clockwise
direction. Processor bowl has to be seated neatly on the
base of the plastic housing and the lid with plastic clip is
closed and locked in place in an anti clockwise
6/ Motor Base
•Contains the motor which runs both the blender and
processor. The motor base provides drive and electrical
interlocking locations for both blender bowl base and
processor bowl interlocking lid.
CAUTION: Do not immerse the motor base, its
flexible cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
7/ Plastic spatula
•Plastic spatula is used for scraping food down the sides
of blender and processor bowl.
CAUTION: Before disassembling the product or
removing food, turn off the power point switch and
disconnect plug from the power point
8/ Food Plunger and dispensing chute
•Plunger fits into the dispensing chute. Always use
plunger when slicing or shredding as it allows you to
vary the pressure when using the cutter blade. It also
stops food from splashing out of the chute when using
the stainless steel blade, plastic mixing blades or slicing
and grating disk.
9/ Processor cover with plastic interlock switch activator
clip

•Cover has a safety interlocking tab moulded to the lid.
Lid must be fitted and locked in place to turn either the
blender or food processor into operation
10/ Processor Bowl
•Made of clear plastic and attaches to the motor base by
placing over the drive shaft over the moulded studded
base and locked in place by the lid closed.
11/ Slicing and grating disc
•For slicing, place the disc with slicing blade facing
upward and insert into drive shaft. Lock disc with the clip
in a clockwise
.
•Slices firm vegetables and fruits such as cabbage,
apples, pears, stone fruit (stone removed), star fruit, cold
cuts, cooked meat, firm cheese and more. Use firm, ripe
produce for best slicing results.
•For grating or shredding, place disc with grating blade
facing upward and insert into drive shaft. Lock disc with
the clip in a clockwise direction.
•Grates or shreds firm vegetables and fruits such as
cabbage, apples, pears, stone fruit (stone removed), star
fruit, firm cheese, hard chocolate, cold cuts and cold
meat. Use firm, ripe produce for best slicing.

12/ Stainless Steel Blade (knife blade)
•Blades are sharp. Always handle the blade by the plastic
centre. Lift the drive shaft out of the processor bowl and
place the blade with the plastic housing into the bottom
of the shaft. Then slide the protective housing out and
place the drive shaft into the bowl before use.
•Remember the plastic housing for the stainless steel
blade is there to prevent you from cutting your fingers.
The plastic housing will stop the blade from rotating if it
is left with the blade in the drive
•Chops raw or cooked meats, fish or poultry, hard
vegetables, onions, mushrooms, nuts and more.
•Mince vegetables, meat, poultry, fish and nuts
•Crumb bread, biscuits, cereals and etc
•Puree cooked fruits and vegetables( except soft fruits
like strawberries etc)
•Grate meats, hard cheese and etc.

CAUTION: Remember that the plastic housing for
the stainless blade is there to prevent you from cutting your
fingers. The plastic housing will stop the blade from rotating
if it is left with the blade in the drive shaft.
CAUTION: Blades can cut. Handle carefully. Keep
hands and utensils out of the container while operating to
prevent the possibility of severe personal injury and or
damage to the product. Use a rubber or plastic spatula only
when the blade has stopped rotating.
13/ Plastic Housing for stainless steel blade
•The plastic housing for the stainless blade is there to
prevent you from cutting your fingers.
•Always place blade with plastic housing into the bottom
of the shaft to prevent severe personal injury.
•It also stops the blade from rotating if it is left with the
blade in the drive shaft.
14/ Plastic Blade
•Plastic mixing blade fits into the drive shaft at the
bottom of the bowl
•Mixes pie and pasta dough, pastry, cakes, soft meat and
vegetable mixtures
•Cut shortening and butter with flour for pastry dough
•Blend sauces, gravies, beverages and soups
•Put on pulse button, it will whip cream and egg whites
15/ Food Processor Drive Shaft
•Shaft adaptor is used to house the shaft stem, food
processing disk and blades
16/ Blender Drive Cover
•Is used to cover the blender drive and activate the safety
interlock to allow the processor to operate
Helpful Hints
Things the Processor does not do:
•Mash potatoes
•Slice, shred or soft cheeses, dried fruits, hard boiled
eggs, hard nuts or raw meat.
•Shred onions or lettuce
•Grind coffee beans
•Liquefy fruits and vegetables
•Crush ice
•Process frozen meat
Things the Blender does not do:
•Beat egg whites
•Whip cream
•Blend raw meat
•Mix heavy dough
•Blend large pieces of cooked meat
Things which can damage the Processor or Blender:

•Cheese which is so hard you have trouble cutting it
•Solidly frozen meat
•Bones and other inedible parts of food
•Spices grounded alone like whole cloves which has a
high oil content
•Using the blender container to store food or beverages
Care and Cleaning
•Before disassembling the appliance, turn off the
appliance and unplug the power cord from the power
supply.
•Carefully remove the stainless or plastic blades from the
bowl or blender jar, empty the contents and scrape the
sides with a plastic or rubber spatula.
•Clean the exterior of the appliance with a soft dampened
cloth. Remove stubborn spots with a moistened (not wet)
cloth with soapy water or mild non abrasive detergent or
cleaner.
•Avoid soaking the accessory parts and blades in water
for long periods of time.
•Wash in warm soapy water after each use. Carefully
hold the blades by the plastic centre and if necessary,
use a nylon bristle brush to reach all parts.
•After each use, wash the processor bowl, blender jar
and lids in warm soapy water. Avoid the use of scouring
pads, harsh detergents, solvents and polish, abrasive or
aerosol cleaners as they may damage the surface of the
product.
•After washing, rinse all parts and dry thoroughly with a
clean, soft cloth.
NOTE: Avoid the use of scouring pads, harsh

appliance.
•Dishwasher Machine Washing
•Carefully place the shredding and slicing blades to be
washed in the cutlery basket of your dishwasher. All
other accessories except the processor bowl, lid, blender
jar and cover are suitable for washing on the top rack of
your dishwasher machine. When loading, make sure the
parts will not fall through the rack during washing.
•Confirm all parts are thoroughly dry after washing before
storing or reconnecting to the power supply.
NOTE: The processor bowl and lid; blender jar and lid
are not suitable for washing in a Dishwasher Machine
NOTE: Ensure that the food processor is clean and dry
before storing. Recipes
Lamb or Mutton Broth
Serves 4-6
500g neck of lamb or mutton, or 2 lamb shanks
5 cups water
2 tablespoons barley
1 onion peeled & cut to fit food chute

1 carrot peeled & cut to fit chute
1 white turnip peeled & to fit chute
1 tablespoon parsley
Salt and freshly grated black pepper to taste
Place meat and bones in a large saucepan, simmer gently for
1.5 hours. Top up with water if necessary. Cool, remove fat and
bones, leaving any meat pieces in soup. Insert shredder blade,
shred vegetables and add stock with barley and seasonings.
Use blade to chop parsley and add to saucepan. Add water if
necessary and simmer gently for another 1½ hours before
serving.
Fish Soup
Serves 4 to 6
500g white fish fillets, skinned and cut into pieces
6 potatoes peeled & cut to fit chute
1 onion peeled & cut to fit chute
Salt and pepper to taste
4 cups water
2cups milk
Slice potatoes and onion. Place fish, potatoes and onion,
seasonings and water into saucepan and simmer for 20-
25minutes until potatoes are tender. Mash fish and potatoes
into soup. Add milk and reheat. Test for seasoning. ¼ cup
cream may be added to soup before serving. Garnish with
chopped chives.
Cream of Zucchini Soup
Serves 4-6
500 g zucchini with end cut off. Cut to fit food chute.
1 medium size onion, peeled and cut into quarters
30g butter
1 tablespoon plain flour
5 cups chicken stock or stock cubes
Salt and pepper
1 teaspoon madras curry powder
¼ cup milk
¼ cup cream
Slice onion and zucchini and then fry gently with butter added
for 4-5 minutes. Introduce flour and stir until the texture is
smooth before adding the stock. Add salt, pepper and curry
powder to season. Continue to simmer for another 20minutes
until zucchini is soft. Turn off and allow contents to cool before
blending the contents. Blend contents until texture is smooth
and then return to saucepan and add milk. Reheat for 5
minutes until hot not boiled. Serve with cream and garnish with
chopped chives.
Eggplant Pate
Makes 4-6 servings
2 unpeeled eggplants baked for about 1 hour

1 peeled garlic clove
½ cup olive oil
1 juiced lemon
1 teaspoon salt
Freshly ground pepper
When eggplants are cooled, scoop flesh out and put into
blender. Cover and blend for 10 seconds until eggplant is
smooth. Add garlic, lemon juice and seasoning. Blend for about
5 seconds. With blender still operating, pour olive oil through
the lid insert. Blend until smooth. Sample for taste and add
more lemon juice if desired.
Chill for at least 1 hour before serving. Garnish with finely
chopped chives or parsley and serve it with toast.
Hungarian Goulash
Makes 4-6 servings
3 large onions
3 tablespoons butter
1 kg round steak cut into 2.5 cm cubes
1 cup claret or tomato juice
1 cup water
1 tablespoon paprika
2 teaspoons salt
¼ teaspoon caraway seeds
¼ teaspoons pepper
2 tablespoons plain flour
¼ cup water
Slice the onions
Melt butter in a large frying pan and fry onions until soft, not
brown for about 5 minutes and then remove onions to mixing
bowl. Brown meat cubs on both sides and allow it to simmer.
Return the onions to the pan and continue to cook with the
meat.
Add wine, water and spices and stir thoroughly. Cover and
simmer for 2 hours until meat is tender. Stir the contents
occasionally. Mix flour and water into a paste and stir into the
goulash. Stirring constantly while it is cooking until sauce
thickens.
Garnish with parsley and serve with noodles or rice.
Have fun trying other new recipes by changing some of the
ingredients.
