2 This appliance is intended for household use only. It is
not suitable for commercial use such as kitchen areas
and other working environments.
3 Ensure that the appliance and mains cable are always placed on
a firm and flat surface, away from the any edges of the worktop
and out of reach from children. Do not place the appliance onto
a metal tray or metal surface whilst in use. Do not place the
appliance on, or near, hot gas or an electric burner or in a heated
oven. Do not operate the appliance with wet hands or barefeet.
4 Route the mains cable so it does not overhang, and cannot be
tripped over or caught.
5 Do not let the mains cable run across an open space, such as,
between a low socket and a table or across any hot area, such as a
cooker, as the heat may damage it.
6 The connections on both sides of the mains cable (the appliance
and socket) should never be strained. If the mains cable is
damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified person or service,
to avoid any hazards.
7 Do not use the appliance in a bathroom, near water, or
outdoors. Do not immerse any of the parts (appliance,
mains cable, plug) in water or other liquids - this is to
protect against fire, electric shock and personal injury.
8 Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or
is malfunctioning. Do not leave the appliance
unattended whilst in use. Use and store it out of reach
from children.
9 This appliance must not be operated by an external timer or a
remote control system.

to persons, animals or objects caused by incorrect installation or
deriving from improper, erroneous or unreasonable use.

cleaning and drying, disconnect the power supply. Ensure that
the motor unit

appliance to the power supply.
12 To reduce the risk of injury, ensure that blades
are correctly attached. Always handle the blades
carefully, as they are extremely sharp.

cleaning and storing away. Keep the attachments, motor unit

cable, and plug away from sources of heat. Store in a dry place.
23 Do not use the appliance for any purpose, aside from its intended

25 Operate the appliance for 40-60 seconds, then let it rest for 3
minutes before restarting. After five cycles, rest the appliance for
20 minutes. To fully protect the appliance, the maximum duration
for continuous operation should be 40 seconds, with a resting
period of 30 minutes before restarting. Thus, after five 40-second
cycles, rest the appliance for 1 hour.

BEFORE FIRST USE
BEFORE ATTACHING OR REMOVING ANY PARTS, MAKE SURE THE MAINS
CABLE IS UNPLUGGED FROM THE POWER SOCKET AND THE SPEED CONTROL
IS IN THE 0 POSITION.
Prior to first use, wash all the parts that come into contact with food
with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly (see section on Cleaning
& Storage).
ALWAYS TAKE CARE WHEN HANDLING THE STAINLESS STEEL
BLADES AS THEY ARE VERY SHARP.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Follow the Important Safeguards and instructions below to achieve the best
results and to keep your appliance in good working condition.
• Do not exceed the recommended maximum quantities.
• Do not use the appliance to process ingredients that are hard (e.g.
frozen meat, inedible parts of ingredients such as bones and pips),
rubbery or sticky (e.g. candied orange peel).
FOOD PROCESSING
ALWAYS REMOVE THE BLADES BEFORE REMOVING THE INGREDIENTS FROM
THE BOWL.
THE APPLIANCE WILL NOT OPERATE IF THE MIXING BOWL COVER OR BLENDER
JUG LID ARE NOT CORRECTLY FITTED.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE THE BLENDER JUG LID OR MIXING BOWL COVER
WHILE THE APPLIANCE IS IN OPERATION.
CHOPPING
Suitable for single stage cake mixes, kneading butter into flour, adding
water to mixtures and chopping, puréeing or whisking.
1 Ensure that the appliance is unplugged, then place the drive shaft

and hold for the desired time. When released, the
appliance will return to the initial speed setting selected on the
speed control

11 When the chopping process is finished, turn the speed control

unplug the mains cable from the electric socket.

WHISKING
Suitable for beating egg whites, mixing eggs and sugar, making a batter,
and whipping cream.
The whisking function has the same operating steps as the chopping
function. Simply replace the chopping blade

SLICING, GRATING AND SHREDDING
FOOD SHOULD BE CLEANED AND CUT INTO PIECES THAT FIT INTO THE FEEDER
TUBE. ALWAYS USE THE PUSH COVER TO PUSH THE FOOD DOWN.
Suitable for processing firm foods such as carrots and hard cheeses, as
well as softer foods such as tomatoes and cucumbers.
1 Ensure that the appliance is unplugged, then place the drive shaft

Wipe the motor unit

clean with a damp cloth, then dry immediately
with a soft cloth, to avoid scratches and water marks on the surface.
Ensure that the connector

LIGHT CLEANING

upper part of the dishwasher but make sure that the water never

STORAGE
MAKE SURE THAT YOUR APPLIANCE AND ALL ITS ACCESSORIES ARE
COMPLETELY DRY BEFORE PUTTING THEM AWAY.
The 2 in 1 Food Processor has a space-saving storage system where
all accessories can be put away tidily in the mixing bowl

. Store the
appliance in a dry and cool place.
WIRING
Should the power cable or the power
plug become damaged, arrange for
these to be replaced by Customer
Service or a qualified person before
continuing to use the appliance. This
appliance is fitted with a 5A BS1362
fuse in a 5A BS 1363 plug.
Do not use a non-wireable plug unless
the fuse cover is in place.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
To avoid environmental and health problems due to
hazardous substances in electrical and electronic goods,
appliances marked with this symbol must not be disposed
of with unsorted municipal waste, but recovered, reused
or recycled.
SERVICE
The product is not user-serviceable. If it is not working, read the
instructions, check the plug fuse and main fuse/circuit breaker. If it is
still not working, consult your retailer. If that does not solve the problem
ring Customer Service – they may be able to offer technical advice.
Please have the Model Number to hand, as they will not be able to
help you without it. If you are advised to return the product to us, pack
it carefully, include a note with your name, address, day phone number,
and description of the problem. If under a guarantee, say where and
when it was purchased and include a valid VAT receipt. Send it to SQ
