BeforeusingyournewStickMixSetfortherst
time,itisextremelyimportantthatyoureadand
followtheinstructionsinthisUseandCare
booklet,evenifyoufeelthatyouarefamiliarthis
typeofappliance.
Inparticular,pleasepaycloseattentionto
sectionentitledIMPORTANTSAFEGUARDS.Finda
safeandconvenientplacetokeepthis
bookletforfuturereference.
Thisappliancehasbeendesignedtooperate
fromastandarddomesticpoweroutlet.Itisnot
intendedforindustrialorcommercialuse.
BeforeUsingtheStick
MixSetfortheFirst
Time
Carefullyunpacktheunitandremoveall
packagingmaterial.Wipethemotorunitwitha
dampcloth.Washtheshaft,mixingbladeandall
theaccessoriesinwarmsoapywater.
Takecarenottosubmergethemotorunitinthe
water.Ensureitisthoroughlydry.
Paycarefulattentiontothesharpblades.
Howtousethehand
blender
Thehandblenderisperfectlysuitedforpreparing
dips,sauces,soups,mayonnaiseandbabyfood
aswellasformixingandmilkshakes.
1. Whenpreparingfoodalwaysusealargeand
highsidedcontainer.
PLEASE NOTE: The 800mL Beaker is only
heat resistant up to 80-90°C. Always
allow boiling foods or liquids to cool
down before starting to blend.
2. Ensurethattheapplianceisunplugged.
3. Insertthemotorunitintotheblendingshaft
untilitlocks.Alwaysensurethattheshafthas
lockedrmlyinplaceanddoesnotmove.
4. Connecttheplugtothepoweroutlet.
5. Adjustthevariablespeedcontroltothe
desiredspeed.
NOTE: The Variable Speed Control is only
available for Power Button I.
6. LowertheStickMixerintothefood.Itisnormal
toexpectfoodtosplashduringoperation.
Whenprocessinghotfoodsorliquidsalways
ensuretheapplianceisnotheldintherising
steam–thiswillpreventcondensationfrom
reachingthemotorhousing.Ifcondensation
doesappearonthemotorhousingplease
removeimmediatelywithacloth.
7. HoldontothecontainerandpressthePower
buttonIorIItostartthemotor.Slowlymove
theMixerupanddownduringoperation.
Caution:Whenblendingsoftfoodsdonotuse
theapplianceforlongerthanoneminuteata
time.
Whenblendinghardfoodsdonotusethe
applianceforlongerthan10seconds.
Alwaysallowtheblendertorestfor3minutes
beforeusingagain.
Donotchopextremelyhardfood,suchas
nutmeg,coffeebeans.
Tip:Useapulsing,on/offactionwhenblending
toachievethebestresults.
8. Watchtheconsistencyofthefoodwhileusing
theMixerandregularlycheckthebladeand
bladeguardforcloggedfood.Usearubber
scrapertocarefullyremoveanyobstruction
afterswitchingthepoweroffatthewall
outlet.
9. Whenyouhavenishedblending,Release
thePowerbuttonandwaituntilthemotor
hasstoppedbeforeliftingtheMixeroutofthe
food.

10.Alwaysunplugtheapplianceimmediately
afteruse.Laydowntheapplianceonaat,
drysurfacewhereitcannotfall.
NOTE: After blending very salty meals,
you should rinse the Mixer blades with
clean tap water immediately after use
to avoid discolouration and corrosion of
the blending shaft.
WARNING:AlwaysreleasethePowerbutton,
waituntilthemotorhascompletelystoppedand
unplugtheappliancebeforeassemblingor
dismantlingtheblendingtool.
HowtoUsetheWhisk
Usethewhiskonlyforwhippingcream,beating
eggwhitesandmixingspongesandReady-mix
desserts.Donotuseanyfragilecontainerswith
theappliance.Itisrecommendedtousehigh
sidedandmediumsizedstainlesssteelorplastic
containersliketheoneprovided.
1. InserttheWhiskintothewhiskholderrmly,
thenInsertthemotorunitintotheWhiskgear
boxuntilitlocks.
2. BeforepressingeitherpowerbuttonIorIIto
beginwhisking,immersethewhiskinthefood
(uptohalfofitsheight)toavoidexcessive
splashinganddrippingofliquidsontothe
appliance.
3. Duringoperation,donotallowthewhiskfrom
touchingtheinteriorwallsofthecontainer.
4. Alwayswaituntilthemotorhasstopped
completelyandunplugtheappliancebefore
liftingthewhiskoutofthefood.
5. Whenyouhavenishedwhisking,detachthe
gearboxfromthemotorunitbypressingthe
ReleaseButtons.Finallypullthewhiskfromthe
gearbox
6. Donottouchthewhiskwithyourhandsor
anyobjects(iehair,clothesetc)whenthe
applianceisconnectedtothemainspower
supply.
7. Cleantheapplianceinaccordancewith
theinstructionsintheCareandCleaning
section.Donotleaveanyfoodtodryonthe
appliance.
Caution:Donotusethewhiskcontinuously
formorethan1minuteatatimetoavoid
overheating.Lettheappliancecooldown
toroomtemperaturebeforeyoucontinue
processing.
HowtoUsetheSlicing/
Shredding
Forpreparingamaximumof500goffoodstuffsat
once(nomeat).
Slicing:potatoesforgratinsdauphinois,carrots,
cucumbers,etc.
Shredding:gratedcarrots,celery.
1. Puttheblade“S”intotheblade–holderdisc.
placetheblade–holderdiscontothespindle
inthemiddleofthebowl.
2. PressdownandholdtheLockpartonthetop
ofthehandle,Turnthelidinclockwiseuntilit
locksintoposition.
3. Putthemotorunitinplacethenstartthe
appliance.
4. Putthefoodstuffsintothefeedertubeand
guidethemusingthepusher,neveryour
ngers,orautensil.
5. Alwaysunplugtheapplianceimmediately
afteruse.

HowtoUsethechopper
Chopperisperfectlysuitedforhardfood,such
aschoppingmeat,cheese,onion,herbs,garlic,
carrots,walnuts,almonds,prunesetc.
Don’tchopextremelyhardfood,suchasice
cubes,nutmeg,coffeebeansandgrains.
Before chopping…
1. Carefullyplacethebladeontothecentral
spindleinthebowl,holdingitbytheplastic
part.Caution: the blade is very sharp!Always
holditbytheupperplasticpart.Always
placethechopperbowlontheanti-slipbase.
2. Putthefoodstuffsintothebowl,neverllthe
bowlabovethemaximumlimitindicated.
3. Insertthemotorunitonthechoppingbowllid
untilitlocks.
4. PressthePowerbuttontooperatethe
chopper.Duringprocessing,holdthemotor
unitwithonehandandthechopperbowl
withtheother.
5. Afteruse,unplugtheapplianceimmediately,
removethemotorunitfromthechopping
bowllidbypressingtheReleasebuttons.
6. Thenremovethechoppingbowllid,carefully
takeouttheblade.
7. Don’toperatehardfoodfornolongerthan
10seconds.
CareandCleaning
• WARNING:Toavoidinjuryanddamage
totheappliance,alwaysturntheappliance
off,waitforthemotortostopcompletely
andunplugtheapplianceimmediatelyafter
operationandbeforedismantlingorcleaning
theappliance.
• Donottouchtheassembledblendingtool
withyourhandsoranyotherobjectwhilstthe
applianceisconnectedtothepowersupply.
• TheMixerbladesareverysharp–DONOT
TOUCHTHEBLADES.Tohandletheblending
toolalwaysgrasptheshaft.
• Donotplacetheapplianceorpowercordin
adishwasher.
• Donotimmersethemotorhousingor
powercordinanyliquidsorspillanyliquids
onit.Alwayswipeoffanyspilledliquids
immediately.
• Donotuseabrasivecleaners,cleaningpads,
corrosivechemicals,disinfectants,bleachor
anysharporhardobjectsi.emetalscouring
pads,forcleaningasthiscoulddamagethe
surface.Carefullycleantheapplianceand
thecontainerwithadampspongeorcloth
withwarmsoapywater.Soakanystubborn
residuesontheprocessingtoolsinwarm
soapywaterforapproxtenminutesandthen
removeanyremainingresiduewithasoft
washingbrush.
• Removetheprocessingtool:Holdontothe
motorhousingwithonehandandgraspthe
shaftwiththeotherhand.PresstheRelease
Buttonstoreleasethelock.Removethe
processingtool.
• Cleantheprocessingtool(Mixerblades)with
asoftnylonwashingbrushandwarmsoapy
water.Rinsetheprocessingtoolsthoroughly
underrunningwater.
• Thoroughlydrythemotorhousingandall
partsoftheapplianceaftereachcleaning
andbeforeassemblingtheappliance.Leave
allpartstodrynaturally.
• Besurethattheunitisunpluggedbefore
cleaning.
• Itisrecommendedthattheappliancebe
washedimmediatelyafteruse.
• Itissuggestedthattheshaftisdetached
fromthemotorhousingbeforethecleaning
commences.
