Ideally,aRadardetectorshouldonlyalertinthepresenceof
policeRadar.However,becauseotherdevicesshareXband
withpoliceRadar,falsealertssometimesoccur.Generally,a
falsesignalproducesonlyashortaudioandvisualalert.Since
theyaremostoftenweak,itispossibletodriveoutofthe
signal’srangeveryquicklyandreceiveonlyabriefalert.
