WARNINGS AND SAFEGUARDS
To operate this warming product properly and safely, there are some critical
safety precautions you need to follow. As with all electrical appliances, there
is an inherent danger of overheating, re or personal injury with the product
is not used correctly. Please carefully read the following before using this
warming product.
• Do not use with generators, power converters, or inverters.
• Do not tuck the product or supply cord in a sofa or other furniture. All portions of
the product or controller should be visible at all times.
• Do not use with rocking chairs, recliners, chair with casters or wheels or other
furniture subject to movement.
• Never trap or pinch any of the electrical cords in any mattress way. Make sure the
cords are never rested between the box springs.
• If the plug does not t into your outlet, contact a qualied electrician.
• Be sure that the power supply is used only on 120V, 60HZ Current Supply.
• Make sure the cord from the controller to your heated product is connected and
locked tightly.
• The warming products should never be folded, balled up or bunched in any way
when in use. May result in overheating and/or permanent wrinkling of the fabric.
• Never use pins in and around the warming product - they may damage the electric
wiring.
• Cats, dogs and other pets should always be kept away from the product, as sharp
claws may result in damage to the heating element.
• Keep the controllers always from drafty areas that may become damp or wet, such
as an open window.

NOTE OF PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other) as a safety feature.
This plug will t into a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not t, contact a qualied electrician. Do not
attempt to defeat this safety feature.
• Always turn off the electric current when the warming product is not in use, either
by turn off the controller or unplugging from the wall outlet.
• Wrapping of the cord around the controls may damage the cord. Loop loosely
when storing.
• NEVER iron your warming product.
• NEVER use dry cleaning uid on this product. Cleaning solvents may damage the
wiring insulation.
• Controller is not waterproof. Do not immerse in water.
• Check with your healthcare provider before using with a pacemaker or any medical
devices.
• Controllers must not be wrapped, covered or tucked when operating.
• Do not use on infants, or people who have medical conditions or disabilities which
leave them insensitive to heat.
• Do not tuck in the wired area of this bedding.
• If improper operation of this bedding is observed, discontinue its use immediately
and consult the manufacturer or the dealer regarding its repair.
STORAGE
• Disconnect the controller from product prior to storage.
• Allow this product to cool before folding and storing it in a dry place, as you would
any other bedding.
• When not in use, please place the product back into the original package and store
in a cool, dry place.
• Avoid storing near sharp objects and avoid placing heavy objects on top.

HEAT MODE
There are 4 Heat Setting Levels, with 1 light lit being the lowest heat
and all 4 lit being the highest heat. The temperature goes up from
1 to 4 each time the ON/OFF Button is pressed.
AUTO SHUT-OFF FEATURE
Controller will automatically shut off 4 hours after being turned on.
This is designed to provide added safety and conserve energy. To
reactivate the heating feature simply press the ON/OFF button.
To restart after a power outage simply press the ON/OFF button.
CAUTION
• Make sure all cords are tangle-free and not pinched in any way,
including but not limited to between mattress and box spring,
against wall, chairs, or other furniture.
• Do not wrap the controller in the product while in use.
• Do not use with a power generator.

SET-UP PROCEDURE
STEP 1
Locate cord connector on the
product.
NOTE: PLUG CONTROLLER CORD
TO PRODUCT FIRST! Do not plug
controller into the wall outlet until
you have connected the controller
cord to the product.
STEP 2
To plug controller cord into the
connector, align arrows on the
connector and cord and push
until they lock.
CAUTION: CORD MUST BE
COMPLETELY CONNECTED.
THERE IS A RISK FOR FIRE WITH
A LOOSE CONNECTION.

STEP 4
Turn on using the ON/OFF button
located on the silicone disk found
on the product itself.
Heat level will default to the lowest
level when rst turned on.
STEP 5
Adjust heat settings using short
presses of the ON/OFF button.
Heat settings will be indicated on
the disk itself (see page 4).
To turn off, press ON/OFF button
until it is no longer lit. Note: the
indicator light on the circuit box will
still be lit.
STEP 6
To disconnect the controller, rst
unplug the cord from the outlet,
then pinch sides of the connector
and pull apart.
STEP 3
Plug the power cord into a
120V wall outlet and look for
the light on the circuit box
on the cord to light up.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
CARE AND CLEANING OF YOUR HEATED PRODUCT
We recommend washing before initial use. Before washing or
storing your heated product:
• Disconnect power cord from wall BEFORE detaching control
cord from the heated product.
• Ensure that no cords are still connected and none of the wires
have worn through the fabric.
• Carefully follow all washing instructions or your heated product
may shrink and possibly cause a re hazard.
• DO NOT submerge controller in water.
• DO NOT dry clean your heated product, Dry cleaning solvents
may damage the wires.
• DO NOT use bleach or cleaning uids.
• DO NOT use a wringer.
• DO NOT iron your heated product.
• DO NOT use mothballs or sprays of any kind.
• DO NOT reconnect the heated product or use it until it is
COMPLETELY dry.
• DO NOT wash or put into water the power cord or any of the
product’s cords.
• DO NOT use analgesic cream in combination with your heated
product.
Taking care of your heated product is easy and safe as long as you
follow a few simple steps.

MACHINE WASH
• Presoak for 15 minutes in mild soap and cold water.
• Wash in mild soap and cold water on Delicate Cycle in the
washer for two minutes. Remember, do not use bleach.
• Rinse in fresh, cold water.
• Spin dry in the washing machine. Reshape to its original size.
MACHINE DRYING
CAUTION:
Do not use commercial dryers. They get too hot and
will damage the wiring in this heated product.
• Preheat dryer on low temperature setting for 2 minutes.
• Place heated product into the dryer and tumble dry for 10
minutes at low temperature.
• Remove the heated product while it is still damp and gently
reshape to original size.
• Drape heated product over a clothesline or a shower rod. DO
NOT use clothespins.
• Heated product must be COMPLETELY dry before reconnecting
the power plug or control plug.
LINE DRYING
• Reshape and hang the product on clothes line evenly to dry
naturally.
• Drape heated product over a clothesline or a shower rod. DO
NOT use clothespins.
• Heated product must be COMPLETELY dry before reconnecting
the power plug or control plug.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Please attach the cord to this product before
plugging the cord into the electrical outlet.
My product doesn’t work? What could be possible causes?
• Controller is not properly connected or is loose: Check whether the
controller is properly connected.
• Wall plug is loose: Check if the plug is properly plugged in all the way.
• Product shut off by timer: Turn on using ON/OFF Button.
• Product is damaged: Unplug and contact Customer Service.
The controller is lit but the product does not heat up.
Test the product by folding it over on itself and turning the setting to high.
Ensure that the indicator light is on. After approximately ve minutes,
carefully feel between the layers. Caution: Never leave the product
turned on and folded up for more than 5-7 minutes. If product still does
not heat up, unplug and contact Customer Service.
My heated product isn’t warming up enough / inadequate
heating. What can I do?
Perhaps the heating mode/temperature is not high enough, adjust setting
to a higher level.
The indicator light on circuit box is ashing. What should I do?
Turn the controller off. Unplug the controller from the wall outlet. Unplug
the controller cord from the product. Wait 30 seconds and reconnect,
making sure the arrows are properly aligned. Now plug into the 110~120
volt wall outlet. Push control button until the temperature is on high. If you
still have issues, contact the Customer Service.
I want a longer cord for my heated product. Can I purchase a
longer one?
We do not currently carry remotes with cord lengths that vary.

WARRANTY
This product comes with a 5-Year Limited Warranty.
Berkshire Blanket & Home Co. warrants its heated products (featuring IntellisenseTM,
PerfectHeatTM and other technologies) will be free from defects in materials and
workmanship for ve years from the original date of purchase. This warranty
covers the controller, wiring and the product itself. This warranty does not cover
abuse, accident or damage resulting from failure to follow included care and use
instructions and manuals, use of improper voltage/current, or modications/repairs
to the product not performed by the manufacturer. Any attempts to repair or adjust
any electrical or mechanical functions on this product will void this warranty.
Keep the original sales receipt or order conrmation. Proof of purchase is required
to begin a warranty action and to issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
Berkshire Blanket & Home Co., at its discretion, will repair or replace this product
or any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty period.
Berkshire Blanket & Home Co. may choose to issue a credit adequate to repurchase
of the same or similar valued product.
To the extent permitted by law: (a) this warranty is in lieu of all warranties, express or
implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and
tness for a particular purpose; and (b) all other implied warranties and any liability
not based upon contract are hereby disclaimed and excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, in no event shall Berkshire Blanket & Home Co. be
liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or special
damages, regardless of whether a claim for such damages is based on warranty,
contract, negligence or otherwise. To the extent permitted by law: Berkshire Blanket
& Home Co.’s liability is limited to the heated product itself and in no event shall
Berkshire Blanket & Home Co.’s liability to the purchaser for damages hereunder
exceed the purchase price of the products in respect of which damages are claimed.
