ments.

4.3 Common Problems and Solutions
5.3.1 Quick energy consumption of the battery
The standby time of the camera is about 3~6 mouths. There are many factors affecting
the battery life, such as the quality of battery brand, using frequency, machine running
status (for example, shooting HD video consumes much energy), working environment of
the camera, working temperature and strength or weakness of network signal. They will all
influence the battery standby time.
If the battery consumes too much quickly, please check the following three reasons:
1) Please check whether the working status of the camera is shooting video or not.
Shooting video will consume much energy.
2) Please check the battery brand and specification. Different brands and specifications of
the battery maybe different.
3) The low temperature of camera working environment will lead to slow reaction of
battery. The working time will shorter with a same battery. It is decided by battery attribute.
5.3.2 Blurred or ghosting pictures
If the camera takes unclear or ghosting photos, please check the following reasons:
1) Please check whether the camera shaking when at work
2) Please check when camera working, whether there is backlighting or strong light
interference
3) Please check if there is dust or dirt on the lens in front of the camera lens.
4) Please check the camera distance is too close or too far.
5.3.3 Photos are too bright at night
1) Please check if there is a mirror or something like mirror at the range of shooting object,

- 14 -
because mirror will reflect the infrared ray strongly. The too small shooting space or too
strong reflection will also result in too light or overexposed phenomenon at night.
2) Please check whether the objects cover the photosensitive resistor.
3) Shooting objects are too close. Or the front of camera covers too many reflectors that
cause pictures too bright at night.
5.3.4 Too dark of photos at night
1) Please check whether the battery is working in a weak current
2) Please check when the camera works, the LED light whether is covered or not.
3) The shooting objects are too far away; beyond the effective range of LED lights will
result in excessive darkness of photos.
4) If shooting environment is too empty without any objects reflecting light, the photos will
be too dark.
5.3.5 Black or white screen in starting up
1) Please check whether the lens is shaded or blazed.
2) Please check whether the battery run out or not.
3) Please check whether the switch is hit the exact position (only the switch to TEST then
the screen will be displayed)
4) Please check if the way of inserting SD card is correct
5.3.6 No PIR response
1) The default PIR response of the camera is about one minute. The response work starts
only after boot one minute. If set up PIR interval in the menu, the response will start during
the interval.
2) Please check if the time lapse function is opened. If it is opened, PIR will not work.
3) Please make sure that a moving object trigger the PIR at the detection range
4) Please check there is no cover in front of PIR.
If you have any other questions or cannot clear troubles with methods above,
please contact us or authorized dealer. We will solve for you as soon as possible.
