1. Safety Instructions

• Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other appa-
ratus that produce heat.
• Do not operate appliance underneath or near ammable or combustible materials (e.g. cur-
tains).
• Do not leave power cord hanging over the table top edge or allow the cord to touch a hot
surface.
• Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
• When positioning the appliance, ensure that there is at least a 5cm clearance at the sides and
a 10cm clearance at the back. This will allow for adequate ventilation.
• Do not block o vents.
• Turn o and unplug before cleaning or storing.
• Any type of servicing, apart from ordinary cleaning, must be carried out by an authorized
service centre or qualied dealer. There are no user serviceable parts in this appliance.

Note: The Water Chiller Tank has a capacity of 600ml and does not supply a continuous stre-
am of chilled water.
The unit needs time to chill the replacement water as it enters the chiller tank as will be indicated
by the Blue Indictor Light Illuminating.

3 Cooling System
This Water chiller unit does not use a compressor or chemical refrigerant for cooling (like as
used in a typical fridge at home). It’s has a Thermoelectric Cooling (TEC)System instead.
Thermoelectric Cooling(TEC) uses a Peltier eect to create a heat ux between the junctions
of two dierent types of materials.
A Peltier cooler, is a solid-state active heat pump which transfers heat from one side of the
device to the other side against the temperature gradient (from cold to hot), when power is
supplied.
Such an instrument is also called a Peltier Device, Peltier Diode, Peltier Heat Pump, Solid State
Refrigerator, or Thermoelectric Cooler(TEC).

TYPICAL WATER CHILLING RESULT
It will take approximately 30-40 minutes to cook 600ml of ltered water when you rst commen-
ce after switching the unit ON.

4. Instructions For Use
• Wash and rinse out the plastic water tanks thoroughly before use. (Refer to Cleaning Section)
• Place the lower water tank onto the chiller.
• If using a lter (Optinal), insert the lter and ensure it sits at and fully seated.
• Fill Upper water tank with clean cold water.
• As a reminder of when to change and replace the lter, lift and turn
the dial on the lid to the current month.The Filter Replacement month
will show the second successive month from the start date.
• Place the lid on the Upper water tank.
• If using a lter (Optinal), let the water ow through the lter into the
lower water tank and continue to rell the top water tank until both
the top and lower water tanks are full.
Note:
It is recommended that you empty and discard the water through the taps from the rst ll to
ush the system through.
• Insert the plug into a power socket and switch on.
• Switch the Water Chiller to“ON”at the back of the unit.
• Both the Blue “Cold” and Yellow“Power” indicator lights will illumina-
te indicating there is power supplied to the unit,and that the water
chiller is chilling the water.
• For best performance, and depending on the water temperature,
allow approximately 30-40 minutes for the water to chill before use.
• When the water has reached the required temperature, the “Cold” in-
dicator light will turn o indicating the water in the 600ml chiller tank
has fully chilled.
Note: The Water Chiller tank has a capacity of 600ml and does not supply
a continuous stream of chilled water.
The unit needs time to chill the replacement water as it enters the chiller
tank as will be indicated by the blue Indicator Light illuminating.

5. Water Float
• The oat is an important part of the Water Chiller. It is used to gauge the water levels and to
prevent overow.
• Only in case of need ensure the oat is tted correctly:
• Unscrew the ring nut on the bottom of the oat housing to remove the oat.

• The oat has a rubber stopper on the tip. This
rubber tip must be pointing upwards towards the
base of the tank as shown.
• Tightly screw the ring nut back on the housing.
(Do Not over-tighten)
6. Care and Cleaning
• Turn o and unplug the unit prior to cleaning.
Note:
When changing the lter (Optinal) it is also recommended to wash the water tanks and the Float
Components.
• When changing the lter it is also recommended to wash the water tanks and the Float Com-
ponents.
• Use warm water with mild detergent to clean the Water Tanks, Float components and lid
then rinse and fry.
• To clean he Chiller Unit, wipe over with a soft damp cloth and mild detergent then wipe fry.
• Never spray the unit with liquids or submerge in water or any other liquid.
• Do not use ammable liquids, chemicals, abrasive creams, steel wool or scouring pads for
cleaning.
• Do not place parts in Dishwasher.
• The lter will require changing every 2-3months depending on use. Filters can be purchased
through stores or by contacting the distributor.

9. Troubleshooting
• 9.1 Water is not Chilled
Water has not been given enough time to chill. –While the blue “Cold” light is illuminated, the
water is chilling. When the blue“Cold” light turns o,the water is chilled.Allow time for the blue
“Cold”light to turn o.
Unit is not turned on. – Plug in and switch on. Ensure the switch on the back of the unit is also
switched on.
• 9.2 Water does not ow through Filter (Optinal)
Filter is blocked. – Replace lter.
