8.2.3. PROGRAMMING OF THE CONTROL HEAD (230459 MODEL)
The programming mode is activated with the en-
ter [9] button. If the keypad is locked and the key
symbol is displayed, buttons must be unlocked be-
forehand by pressing for 5 seconds the down [11]
and up [12] buttons simultaneously. The regulation
symbol [8] lit indicates active mode of program-
ming settings. The regeneration symbol [10] clos-
es the programming mode. The mode will also be
closed automatically and the keypad will be locked
after 1 minute of inactivity.
A change of the displayed parameter can be done
with the down [11] button. Parameters to be pro-
grammed, the sequence of displaying:
• Current time (24-hour mode)
• Volumetric-delayed operation mode (a-01),
volumetric-instant operation mode (a-02), intelli-
gent-delayed operation mode (a-03), intelligent-in-
stant mode (a-04).
• In the a-01 mode, the controller, after the set vol-
ume of water is reached, will wait with the regen-
eration of resin until the time programmed. In the
a-02 mode, the regeneration will be initiated imme-
diately after a set volume of water is reached. In
the a-03 mode (requires the input of resin volume,
hardness of water, regeneration factor), the control-
ler automatically calculates the volume of treated
water before regenerations, and when the calculat-
ed volume of water is treated, it will wait with the
regeneration of resin until the time programmed. In
the a-04 mode (requires the input of resin volume,
hardness of water, regeneration factor), the control-
ler automatically calculates the volume of treated
water before regenerations, and when the calculat-
ed volume of water is treated, regeneration will be
initiated immediately after a set volume of water is
reached.
• The time of a-01 or a-03 mode to initiate regen-
eration, after the set volume of water is treated (in a
24-hour mode).
• The quantity of resin in the container, in litres,
e.G., 4L - four litres of resin (note: it is a key param-
eter for the proper operation of the device. It shall
be specified by the delivered of the device) (in a-03
and a-04 modes only).
• The hardness of raw water on inlet to the device
in mmol/litre, e.G., Yd 3.0 – The hardness of raw
water is 3.0 Mmol/litre (see table no. 4 To calculate
units) (note: it is a key parameter for the proper op-
eration of the device. It shall be specified by the de-
livered of the device) (in a-03 and a-04 modes only).
• Regeneration factor. Default value: al.65 (Note: it
is a key parameter for the proper operation of the
device. It shall be specified by the delivered of the
device) (in a-03 and a-04 modes only).
• The volume of water after which regeneration
will be done (note: it is a key parameter for the
proper operation of the device. It shall be specified
by a specialist, after water examination) (in a-01
and a-02 modes only).
• (2) Back wash - time of back wash in minutes.
E.G., 2 - 10M time of the 2nd cycle of operation is 10
minutes (m - indication in minutes)
• (3) Regeneration - time of regeneration and slow
rinse. E.G., 3 - 60M time of the 3nd cycle of opera-
tion is 60 minutes (m - indication in minutes)
• (4) Brine refill - time of filling the brine tank. E.G.,
4 - 05M time of the 4th cycle of operation is 5 min-
utes (m - indication in minutes)
• Note: excessive time of filing the brine tank may
cause the overflow of water to sewage or outside
of the device. The supplier of the device shall not
be held responsible for any damages resulting from
improper setting of this parameter.
• (5) Fast rinse - time of fast rinse. E.G., 5 - 10M
time of the 5th cycle of operation is 10 minutes (m -
indication in minutes)
• Maximum interval (in days) between successive
regenerations (d - indication in days), e.G., H - 30,
delay between regenerations will exceed 30 days.
• The type of external signal send by the head.
B-01 – a permanent signal during entire regenera-
tion (from the moment of leaving “in serv” position
to the moment to returning thereto. “In serv” – sig-
nal only when the head changes its position (head’s
servo working).
