Sie haben sich für das dynamische Mikrofon M 88 von beyerdynamic
entschieden. Vielen Dank für Ihr Vertrauen.
Nehmen Sie sich bitte einige Minuten Zeit und lesen Sie diese
Produktinformation vor Inbetriebnahme aufmerksam durch.
Anwendungen
Das M 88 wurde speziell zur Abnahme von Gesang, Sprache und
Instrumenten entwickelt. Es kann als Handmikrofon oder stativgebunden
eingesetzt werden.
Anschluss
Das M 88 ist mit einem 3-poligen XLR-Stecker ausgestattet. Sie können das
Mikrofon an jeden Mikrofoneingang anschließen. Erhältliche Kabel siehe
„Zubehör optional“.
Inbetriebnahme
• Das M 88 hat eine Hypernierencharakteristik und ist sehr rückkopplungs-
arm. Um maximale Rückkopplungssicherheit zu erreichen, sollte das
Mikrofon so positioniert werden, dass die Monitorboxen seitlich von hinten
(Winkel ca. 120°) auf das Mikrofon strahlen.
• Um Poppgeräusche zu vermeiden, sollten Sie das Mikrofon schräg unter-
halb des Mundes halten, so dass Sie leicht über das Mikrofon singen
bzw. sprechen.
• Zur Abnahme einer Bass-Drum setzen Sie das Mikrofon mit dem
Poppschutz PS 88 ein.
• Zum Lieferumfang des M 88 gehört die Mikrofonklammer MKV 8 für
Stative mit 3/8"-Gewinde. Für Stative mit 5/8"-Gewinde können Sie den
Gewindeeinsatz herausschrauben.
Pflege
Zum Reinigen von Mikrofonschaft und Mikrofonkorb nehmen Sie ein
feuchtes, weiches Tuch. Bei Bedarf können Sie ein mildes Reinigungsmittel
(z.B. Geschirrspülmittel) verwenden, auf keinen Fall jedoch lösemittelhaltige
Reiniger. Achten Sie darauf, dass keine Flüssigkeit in den Mikrofonkopf
läuft.
Service
Im Servicefall wenden Sie sich bitte an autorisiertes Fachpersonal. Öffnen
Sie das Mikrofon auf keinen Fall selbst, Sie könnten sonst alle Garantie-
ansprüche verlieren.

time to read carefully through this product information before setting up
the equipment.
Applications
The M 88 has been developed for vocals, speech and miking instruments. It
can be used as handheld microphone or stand-mounted.
Connection
The M 88 is equipped with a 3-pin XLR plug. You can connect it to any
microphone input. For available cables refer to the section “Optional
Accessories”.
Setting up and Use
• The M 88 features a hypercardioid polar pattern and a high-gain-before
feedback. In order to achieve maximum gain-before-feedback, the
monitor box should be at an angle of approx. 120° to the longitudinal
axis of the microphone.
• In order to avoid pop noise hold the microphone a little below from the
mouth at a slight angle.
• For miking a bass drum use the PS 88 popscreen.
• Supply of the M 88 includes the MKV 8 microphone clamp for stands
with 3/8" thread. For stands with 5/8" thread unscrew the 3/8"-thread
insertion piece.
Maintenance
Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning the M 88 microphone. If necessary, you
can use a gentle cleansing agent (such as washing-up liquid). Make sure
not to allow any water to enter the transducer element and never use any
solvent cleansers.
Service
Servicing must be carried out by qualified service personnel only.
Dismantling the microphone yourself will invalidate the guarantee.

Applications
Le M 88 a été conçu spécialement pour la prise des voix et d’instruments.
Il s’utilise aussi bien tenu en main que fixé sur une pince à micro.
Branchement
Le M 88 est muni d’un connecteur XLR à 3 broches permettant la
connexion à n’importe quel type d’entrée de microphone (Voir «accessoires
en option» pour la gamme des câbles disponibles).
Mise en marche
• Le M 88 dispose d’une directivité hypercardioïde et il n’est pas sensible
au Larsen. Il est important de veiller à ce que les moniteurs de retour
soient placés à un angle d’environ 120° par rapport à l’axe longitudinal
du microphone.
• Pour réduire le risque d’effets «Pop» nous vous conseillons de tenir le
microphone légèrement incliné sous la bouche.
• Pour la prise de son de la grosse caisse il faut utiliser la bonnette anti-pop
PS 88.
• Le M 88 est livré avec la pince de microphone MKV 8 pour des pieds de
sol avec filetage 3/8". Le filetage est démontable pour permettre l’utili-
sation d’un pied de sol avec filetage 5/8".
Entretien
Utilisez un tissu doux humidifié pour nettoyer le corps et la grille de
protection du microphone. Si nécessaire, vous pouvez ajouter un produit
vaisselle, mais n’utilisez jamais des dissolvants; veillez à ce que toute péné-
tration de l’eau dans la transducteur du microphone soit évité.
Service après-vente
En cas de nécessité veuillez vous adresser à un technicien beyerdynamic
autorisé. N’ouvrez jamais le microphone, vous risquerez sinon de perdre vos
droits de garantie.
