Mikrofonkopf befestigen
Für den Handsender Quinta TH stehen verschiedene Kondensator und
dynamische Mikrofonkapseln zur Verfügung.
• Setzen Sie den gewünschten Mikrofonkopf auf das Gewinde  des
Handsenders und drehen Sie ihn im Uhrzeigersinn fest.
• Wenn Sie den Mikrofonkopf wechseln möchten, lösen Sie ihn vom
Sender indem Sie ihn entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn drehen.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie vor dem Wechsel den Handsender
ausschalten.

Einlegen der Batterien/Akkus
• Schrauben Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung in Pfeilrichtung ab.
• Ziehen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung ab.
• Legen Sie zwei NiMH-Akkus oder Alkalinebatterien (AA LR 6 Mignon)
gemäß den Symbolen im Batteriefach ein.
• Schieben Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung wieder nach oben und drehen Sie
sie fest.
• Wenn die Batterieanzeige am Senderboden zu blinken beginnt beträgt die
Restbetriebszeit, je nach verwendetem Batterietyp, noch ca. 1 Stunde.
• Von Zeit zu Zeit sollten Sie die Batterie- und Ladekontakte des Senders
Quinta TH mit einem mit Spiritus oder Alkohol befeuchtetem, weichen
fusselfreiem Tuch reinigen. Bitte entfernen Sie in diesem Fall zuvor die
Batterien/Akkus aus dem Batteriefach.
Batteriefachabdeckung abschrauben und abziehen.

Betriebsarten
Die verschiedenen Betriebsarten wie „Normal“, „Push-To-Talk“ oder
„Sprachaktiviert“ werden mit der Quinta Conference Software für alle
Mikrofone gemeinsam eingestellt. Die ab Werk eingestellte Betriebsart ist
„Normal“. Siehe hierzu die entsprechende Bedienungsanleitung „Quinta
Conference Software“ bzw. „Quinta Webserver“.
Laden
Wird der Handsender Quinta TH mit NiMH-Akkus betrieben, können Sie
diese mit dem Ladegerät WA-CD wieder aufladen, wobei die Akkus
entweder im Sender bleiben oder separat geladen werden können. Zur
Handhabung siehe die separate Bedienungsanleitung für das Ladegerät
„WA-CD“.
Einschalten und Zuteilen
• Durch Drücken der Mikrofontaste  wird der Hand-
sender eingeschaltet. Sobald eine Verbindung zur
Steuerzentrale Quinta CU hergestellt wurde, leuch-
tet die Mikrofontaste  weiß und zeigt so die Be-
triebsbereitschaft an.
• Um das Mikrofon zu aktivieren bzw. das Mikrofon
einem freien Kanal der Steuerzentrale Quinta CU
zuzuteilen, drücken Sie noch einmal kurz auf die
Mikrofontaste . Je nach Betriebsart leuchtet die
Mikrofontaste  grün (Betriebsart normal) oder rot
(Betriebsart Anmeldung).
Ausschalten
• Durch langes Drücken der Mikrofontaste 
(ca. 3 Sekunden) wird der Handsender ausge-
schaltet.
• Der Handsender kann auch über die Steuerzentrale
ausgeschaltet werden, wenn Sie den Standby-Taster
länger als 3 Sekunden drücken.
• Außerdem schaltet sich der Handsender selbsttätig
aus, wenn er länger als ca. 3 Minuten kein Signal
von der Steuerzentrale Quinta CU empfangen hat.


How to Attach the Microphone Head
For the Quinta TH handheld transmitter there are different condenser and
dynamic microphone capsules available.
• Put the requested microphone head onto the thread  of the handheld
transmitter and tighten it clockwise.
• If you want to change the microphone head, unscrew it from the
transmitter by turning it anti-clockwise.
• Make sure that you switch off the handheld transmitter before changing
the microphone head.

How to Insert the Batteries
• Unscrew the cover of the battery compartment as indicated by the arrow.
• Slide the cover of the battery compartment downwards.
• Insert two NiMH rechargeable batteries or alkaline batteries (AA LR 6
Mignon) according to the symbols in the battery compartment.
• Slide the cover of the battery compartment upwards again and tighten it.
• When the battery indicator at the bottom of the transmitter starts to flash,
the remaining operating time will be approx. 1 hour depending on the
battery type used.
• From time to time you should clean the battery and charging contacts of
the Quinta TH transmitter with a soft lint-free cloth moistened with white
spirit or alcohol. Please remove the batteries from the battery compartment
before cleaning.
Unscrew cover of battery compartment and remove it.
Insert batteries according to the +/- symbols into the battery compartment.

Operating Modes
The different operating modes such as “Normal”, “Push-To-Talk” or “Voice
Activation” are adjusted with the Quinta Conference software for all
microphone units. The standard operating mode is “Normal”. Please refer
also to the appropriate “Quinta Conference Software” or “Quinta Web
Server”manual.
Charging
If the Quinta TH handheld transmitter is operated with NiMH rechargeable
batteries, you can recharge it with the WA-CD charger, with the
rechargeable batteries remaining inside the transmitter or recharging the
separately. For the operation, please refer to the separate manual for the
“WA-CD” charger.
Switching on and Allocating the Transmitter
• The handheld transmitter is switched on by pressing
the microphone button . When the connection to
the Quinta CU control unit has been established,
the microphone button  will illuminate white to
indicate the operating state.
• In order to activate the microphone or to allocate
the microphone to a free channel of the Quinta CU
control unit, press the microphone button briefly
once again. Depending on the operating mode, the
microphone button  will illuminate green (normal
operating mode) or red (request-to-speak mode).
Switching off the Transmitter
• By pressing the microphone button  (approx.
3 seconds) the handheld transmitter is switched
off.
• If you press the standby button of the control unit
for more than 3 seconds, the handheld transmitter
will be switched off.
• Furthermore, the handheld transmitter will be
switched off automatically, when it does not receive
a signal from the Quinta CU control unit for more
than 3 minutes.


Fixer la tête de microphone
Diverses capsules de microphone à condensateur et dynamiques sont à
disposition pour l’émetteur portable Quinta TH.
• Placez la tête de microphone souhaitée sur le filetage  de l’émetteur
portable et fixez-la en la vissant dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre.
• Si vous souhaitez changer la tête de microphone, dévissez-la de
l’émetteur en tournant dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre.
• Veillez à éteindre l’émetteur portable avant de changer la tête de
microphone.

Insertion des piles / accus
• Dévissez le cache du compartiment à piles dans le sens de la flèche.
• Tirez le cache du compartiment à piles vers le bas.
• Insérez deux accumulateurs NiMH ou piles alcalines (AA LR 6 Mignon)
conformément aux symboles figurant dans le compartiment.
• Repoussez le cache du compartiment pour piles vers le haut et refermez
en vissant.
• Lorsque le témoin d’usure des piles situé sur la partie inférieure interne
de l’émetteur commence à clignoter, le temps de charge restant n’est,
selon le type de piles utilisé, plus que d’1 heure environ.
• Il est recommandé de nettoyer de temps à autre les contacts de charge de
l’émetteur Quinta TH à l’aide d’un chiffon doux non peluchant imprégné
d’alcool dénaturé. Veuillez dans ce cas retirer au préalable les piles/accus
de leur compartiment.
Dévisser et retirer le couvercle du compartiment à piles.
Insérer les piles ou accus selon l’indication +/- dans le compartiment.

Modes de fonctionnement
Les différents modes de fonctionnement tels que « Normal », « Push-To-
Talk » ou « Contrôle vocal » sont réglés ensemble pour tous les micro-
phones via le logiciel de conférence Quinta. Le mode de fonctionnement
réglé au départ usine est « Normal ». Cf. à ce propos le mode d’emploi
correspondant « Logiciel Quinta Conference » ou « Serveur Web Quinta ».
Chargement
En cas d’utilisation de l’émetteur portable Quinta TH avec des accus
NiMH, vous pouvez recharger ces derniers à l’aide du chargeur WA-CD ;
les accus restent à cet effet dans l’émetteur ou peuvent être rechargés
séparément. Pour savoir comment recharger les accus, veuillez vous
reporter au mode d’emploi du chargeur « WA-CD ».
Mise en marche et attribution
• L’émetteur portable est activé d’une pression sur la
touche de microphone . Dès qu’une liaison est
établie avec la centrale de commande Quinta CU,
la touche de microphone  s’allume en blanc pour
signaler la disponibilité.
• Pour activer le microphone ou attribuer au micro-
phone un canal libre de la centrale de commande
Quinta CU, pressez une nouvelle fois brièvement la
touche de microphone . Selon le mode de
fonctionnement, la touche de microphone  est
allumée en vert (mode de fonctionnement normal)
ou en rouge (mode de fonctionnement demande de
parole).
Mise hors tension
• L’émetteur portable est désactivé d’une pression pro-
longée (env. 3 s) sur la touche de microphone .
• L’émetteur portable peut également être éteint via
la centrale de commande lorsque vous maintenez
enfoncé le bouton de veille plus de 3 secondes.
• Par ailleurs, l’émetteur portable s’éteint de lui-
même lorsqu’il ne reçoit pas de signal de la centrale
de commande Quinta CU pendant plus de 3 mi-
nutes environ.

