OSTRICH WING AWNING, FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Unpack awning and Remove fitting kit from awning bag.
2. Measure the length of your Roof rack or canopy.
•1.4 m long roof rack fit front bracket 1.1 m from centre of rear bracket.
•1.7 m long roof rack fit front bracket 1.4 m from centre of rear bracket.
•1.9 m long roof rack fit front bracket 1.6 m from centre of rear bracket.
•2.0 m long roof rack fit front bracket 1.7 m from centre of rear bracket.
•2.2 m long roof rack fit front bracket 1.9 m from centre of rear bracket.
•2.3 m long roof rack fit front bracket 2.0 m from centre of rear bracket.
•2.4 m long roof rack fit front bracket 2.0 m from centre of rear bracket.
•2.8 m long roof rack fit front bracket 2.0 m from centre of rear bracket.
3. Mark canvas at the back position on slat frame grooves; make two holes with sharp object
for 6 mm bolt to go through. Slide in two M6 square nuts – then fit track onto slat frame.
4. Slide four M8 square nuts onto roof rack side main rail grooves, two towards the front and
two towards the rear of the vehicle.

5. Secure both fitting brackets only tighten rear bracket as far back as possible leave front
bracket loose.
6. Secure four stud plates into brackets, with plates set to slide onto mounting tracks on the
awning.
7. Slide Ostrich Wing Awning from top down onto the bracket, using tracks on slat frame while
positioning the front bracket to slide into the track – then tighten all bolts.
8. Slide two M8 square nuts onto roof rack rear main rail, positioning it to the awning side.
Open awning bag, mark hole on the canvas and secure z bracket onto awning main
housing bracket – then fit z bracket onto rear main rail and tighten all bolts.
9. Open Ostrich Wing Awning side release buckle strap.
10.Open ostrich wing awning to have the desired shade and clip in the hook.
WHEN OPENING AND CLOSING THE AWNING
•THE TIE STRAP HOOK MUST BE UNHOOKED
•ASSIST THE FABRIC OVER THE MAIN BRACKET
