SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Do not use defective headlamps or accessory parts and contact vendor /
distributor.
2. Always check the headlamp for functionality prior to use and, to be on the
safe side, carry a replacement lamp and sufcient replacement batteries
with you.
3. Repairs, additions or modications to the headlamp or battery are not
permitted as these may lead to damages to the headlamp or a safety risk.
4. RISK OF SHORT-CIRCUITING
In order to avoid the risk of a short-circuit when recharging:
– Do not touch the charging contacts with damp or metal objects.
– If needed, clean the charging contacts.
– Only recharge headlamp/battery packs in dry rooms.
5. EXPLOSION OR RISK OF ACID BURNS
– Batteries/battery packs can explode if exposed to strong heat.
– Leaking of battery uid can cause chemical burns.
6. Therefore do not expose batteries and battery packs…
– To direct sunlight or great heat over an extended period of time.
– Do not heat them or throw them into the re and avoid heat buildup
in the headlamp by covering it, for instance.
– Do not open, damage, or short-circuit them.
– Only recharge them if they are labeled as rechargeable.
– Do not store them within the reach of children.
7. In case of leaking batteries, place a cloth underneath them and prevent
the skin, eyes and mucous membranes from coming into contact with the
battery uid. In the event of contact, immediately rinse the affected parts
with plenty of clean water and consult a doctor.
8. Do not attempt to charge under +10°C
9. Do not attempt to use above +60°C
10. The battery is not reproof, do not throw into re.
11. Do not attempt to perform any physical modications to the device. The
manufacturer does not take responsibility for the damage caused by such
modications.

Please contact the vendor / distributor if any items are damaged or missing.
The headlamp is suitable for persons above 12 years of age without any
limitations.
People with physical or technical limitations and children between 6 and
11 years may only use the headlamp under the supervision of a parent or
guardian.

BATTERY SETTINGS
There is a button on the battery. Short press it to change the screens:
(a) Main screen, battery information;
(b) Temperature;
(c) Clock (long press the button to activate the clock setting screen. Short
press to increase the active item, long press to jump to the next item. When
nished the last item, long press to save the setting and go back to the clock
display screen).
TROUBLESHOOTING AND MAINTENANCE
To extend battery life, always keep it between 10-90% charge level and check
it every month if the battery is not in use.
Disposal
– The headlamp must be disposed of at a suitable place of disposal
according to the local recycling regulations concerning electronic waste
– Submit used batteries/battery packs to a local battery collection point or
anywhere where batteries/battery packs are sold in accordance with the
local regulations.
Cleaning
The following should be noted for cleaning:
– Clean the headlamp and its accessories only dry using a lint-free cloth.
– If the headlamp comes into contact with salt water, remove the salt water
immediately and fully with a lint-free cloth.
– Wash the headband in clear water and let it dry before use.
– Do not use any chemical or solvent-based detergents or disinfectants.
– Attention: Damage to surfaces. Solvents can damage surfaces or
decompose materials! Therefore:
(a) Do not use any cleaning agents or disinfectants.
(b) Do not use scouring agents.
(c) Do not use gasoline, paint thinners or similar products.
WARRANTY INFORMATION
BigLight ensures the safety and proper functioning of the headlamp only
under the following conditions:
– The headlamp and battery is used according to the intended purpose, and
operated and maintained in accordance with the information incorporated
in this Manual;
– Only original spare parts or accessories approved by BigLight are used;
– The headlamp and the battery is not modied in any way.
– BigLight is committed to continuously improve its products to serve the
community with high quality tools in order to continue earning the trust of
its customers.
– All BigLight products are warranted for one year against any faults in
materials or manufacturing. For headlamps our warranty is three years.
– Limitations of the guarantee include normal wear and tear, modications,
or improper storage, and corrosion or oxidation. Also excluded from
the guarantee is any damage caused by accidents, negligence, poor
maintenance and uses for which the product was not designed. BigLight
Europe will repair or replace defective merchandise at its discretion;
items that cannot be economically repaired will be replaced. All warranty
judgements will be made by BigLight’s after sales and service staff.
– Every BigLight product is marked with a manufacturing date and serial
number. Using this informations our after sales and service staff is able to
determine if a product is within the warranty window. If a product is within
the warranty window, BigLight Europe will perform any necessary repairs or
replacement at no charge to customer. BigLight Europe is not responsible
for inbound return freight, but will pay outbound freight on product repaired
or replaced under warranty.
– If a product is outside the warranty window, or if the damage is due to user
neglect or improper usage (i.e. corrosion), the warranty department will
contact the customer to discuss possible options for repair. No charges
will be levied without the consent of the customer.

STARTUP AND OPERATION
1. Connect the cables paying heed to the orientations of the position signs.
2. The light shall blink once to indicate the operability.
3. There are 2 buttons on the headlamp: one of them for the four-grade
diffused light (each press increases the luminosity, after the fourth it
shuts down the light; the rst press activates the mildest intensity, which is
also a bivouac night light or a power saving mode).
4. The other button operates the reector LED in two stages (the rst press
activates the strongest light, the second decreases the luminosity, the
third shuts down the light).

5. The light sources can be operated simultaneously, in any combination.
6. If the light is turned off, after 3 minutes it goes to power save mode. In
order to activate the operation mode, press either button for at least 3
seconds. Please keep in mind that there is some discharge even in power
save mode, therefore in order to save battery power, store the device with
disconnected cables.
7. The screen displays the charge level percent (%) and the estimated running
time in the given operating mode continuously.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
1. During charging the screen displays the estimated remaining charging
time.
2. You can leave the battery on the charger as long as you want to, the
charging stops when completed.
3. For the best results, store in full charged mode.
4. If the battery depletes completely, the display shuts down. Connect the
charger, but be aware that the charging might not start until hours later. Be
patient.
