Functions and Display
Operation
On/Off
Hold the POWER button to turn on the display. Hold the POWER button again to turn off the
display. If the e-bike is not used for 5 consecutive minutes, the display will automatically shut
off.
Toggle Display Modes
Tap the POWER button to switch between screen modes –Display 1, Display 2 and Display 3.
When in Display 2 or Display 3 while riding, the screen will switch to Display 1 after 5 seconds.

Changing Assist Level
Press the UP or DOWN buttons to switch between assist levels 1-5. Level 1 is the lowest
level of assistance, Level 5 is the highest level of assistance. Upon start-up the display will
automatically return to the gear you shutdown in last time. Level 0 has no motor assistance.
Turning on Headlight and Display Back light
Hold the UP button to turn on the display back light and headlight. Hold the UP button again
to turn off the back light and headlight.
Walking Mode
Hold the DOWN button and the 6Km/H push power assist Icon will flash and the bike will
move forward by motor power at a speed of 6km/h. Release the DOWN button to exit this
mode.

Resetting Single Trip Distance (TM ) and Single Riding Time (DST)
After the display has been powered on for 5 seconds, hold the UP and DOWN buttons at the
same time. The TM and DST readings on the screen will flash. Tap the POWER button shortly
to clear the display. If you do not tap the POWER button within 5 seconds the screen will
automatically return to Display 1, and the data will be preserved.
Throttle Display
When you use the throttle, the THROTTLE icon will be displayed
PAS Display
When using the motor’s Power Assist features, the PAS icon will be displayed.
Cruise Control Function
To use this function, you must activate in in the settings menu –instructions on how to
perform this are at the end of this manual. When at a riding speed of greater than 7km/h and
when PAS is lit up on the screen, hold the DOWN button to enter Cruise Control mode. The
motor will maintain the approximate speed which you are at when entering cruise control.
Brake, pedal or press down any button to exit this.
Battery Capacity Meter
When the battery capacity is over 70%, the four power displays of the meter are lit. When the
battery capacities drop, the four power displays turn off in the order below. When power
capacity is less than 15%, all four power displays are turned off. If the controller is powered off
due to a voltage shortage, the power display frame flashes, indicating the bike has had a
voltage shortage and is waiting for shutdown.

General Display Settings
Setting Maximum Motor Speed
Within 5 seconds of powering on the bike, hold the UP and DOWN buttons at the same time.
MXS and Km/H (MPH if you have the display set for that) will flash. Use the UP and DOWN
buttons to raise or lower the maximum motor speed where the motor will power the bike up to.
Hold the POWER button shortly to save this value and go to the next parameter.
Wheel Diameter Setting
Hold the UP or DOWN buttons to set the wheel diameter used by the controller to determine
bike speed. This does not need to be changed unless you put a different sized wheel on
the bike. Select the value in the range of 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 700c and 28
inches. Hold the POWER button shortly to save and go to the next parameter.

Change units between Km/H and MPH
Hold the UP or DOWN buttons to select between Metric or Imperial units for speed and
distance. After setting your preferred units short press the POWER button to re enter the
Maximum Motor Speed setting or hold the POWER button to save setting values and return to
Display 1.
*When adjusting any of the above three settings you can hold the POWER button to save
changes and return to Display 1. The screen will also return to Display 1 if you do not press
anything for 1 minute.
Changing Display Back Light Level
Use the POWER button to turn on your display. Next, hold the UP and DOWN buttons within
5 seconds of turning on the display. If you don't get it the first time, turn the display off and
then turn it on again before holding the UP and DOWN buttons.
Press the POWER button THREE times until the information on the screen stops flashing.
Then HOLD the UP and DOWN buttons for 5 seconds. Press the POWER button FIVE times
until you see P5 appear on the display and the information is no longer flashing.
Next, HOLD the UP and DOWN buttons again. Press the POWER button FIVE times to
advance to C6. Then use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust "Display Back Light". The
dimmest setting is 1 and the brightest setting is 6. When you have set the preferred
brightness level, PRESS the POWER button to save your selection, then HOLD the POWER
button to exit the settings menu.

Activating the Cruise Control Function
Use the POWER button to turn on your display. Next, hold the UP and DOWN buttons within
5 seconds of turning on the display. The SPEED display should start flashing. If you don't get
it the first time, turn the display off and then turn it on again before holding the UP and DOWN
buttons.
Press the POWER button THREE times until the information on the screen stops flashing.
Then HOLD the UP and DOWN buttons for 5 seconds. Press the POWER button FIVE times
until you see P5 appear on the display and the information is no longer flashing.
Next, HOLD the UP and DOWN buttons again. Press the POWER button SIX times to
advance to C7. Then use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust "Cruise Control. Set this to 0 to
not allow for cruise control or to 1 to allow for use of the cruise control function. When you
have set the preferred value, PRESS the POWER button to save your selection, then HOLD
the POWER button to exit the settings menu.
Error Codes
When there is a problem with the display or motor the display may show an error code. Which
each error code represents is tabulated below –contact Biktrix support for assistance in steps
to resolve these errors.
