Introduction
The Biogents CO2Timer lets you to control when CO2is released by establis-
hing specic start and stop times. It enables you to set up two start and end
times for CO2releases per day. The BG-CO2timer is placed between the CO2
tank and the mosquito trap with CO2connecting tubes.

Product components
The BG-CO2Timer consists of a body with a display and buttons to set up
the release times, two connections to the CO2tubes and a 9V battery.

Battery
The 9V battery to run the timer is located in the back of the body and inclu-
ded, but not connected. To run the timer remove the screws from the back
of the body. Insert the battery and connect the connection plate to the
battery. The timer is now switched on. Then replace the screws and tighten.
The status of the battery is shown in the display. The battery should last at
least 9 months.

Switch on the display by pressing button 3.
To start set-up of the current time press button 3 for two
seconds.
To adjust the current time use button 1 to increase and but-
ton 2 to decrease the time.

After setting up the current time press button 3. „S1“ (Start
time 1) appears in the display.
Set the rst start time with buttons 1 and 2 as described
above.

After setting up the rst start time press button 3. „E1“ (End
time 1) appears in the display.
Set the end time with buttons 1 and 2 as described above.

To set up a second start and end time, press button 3 after setting up the
rst end time. ”S2“ (Start time 2) appears in the display. Set the time with
buttons 1 and 2 as described before. To set the second end time press but-
ton 3. “E2“ will appear in the display. Set time with buttons 1 and 2. After
the second end time is entered, press button 3. Now the timer is running,
shown by a „R“ in the display. NOTE: if a second start/end time cycle is not
required, set both the second start and end time to one minute after the
end of the rst cycle above.

To run the CO2continuously and not use the timer, change
the mode to “Always CO2“. Press button 1 for two seconds.
With an audible click, “A“ will appear in the display along with
a down arrow showing that CO2is now emitted continuously.
To cancel the “Always CO2” mode, press button 1 again.

conds. An “A“ without down arrow will appear in the display
to show that CO2 ow is switched o permanently.
To switch back to the timer mode press button 2 again. short

Install the BG-CO2timer between the CO2source and the mosquito trap.
The tube coming from the CO2source should be attached to connection

Einführung
Biogents CO2Timer ermöglicht eine regulierte Abgabe von CO2zu von Ih-
nen bestimmten Zeiten, wobei Sie zwei verschiedene Zeitfenster pro Tag
einstellen können. Der BG-CO2 Timer wird zwischen der CO2Quelle und der
Mückenfalle mit CO2Schläuchen angebracht.

Display
Der BG-CO2 Timer besteht aus einem Korpus mit Display, Knöpfen zum Einstel-
len der Zeitfenster, zwei Anschlüssen an CO2Schläuche und eine 9V Batterie.

Batterie
Um den Timer zu betreiben, benötigen Sie eine 9V Batterie, die im Liefer-
umfang enthalten, aber noch nicht angeschlossen ist. Um den Timer anzu-
schalten, entfernen Sie die Rückseite des Timers, indem Sie die Schrauben
lösen. Legen Sie die Batterie ein und verbinden sie dann die Batterie mit
der Batterieverbindungsplatte. Der Timer ist nun eingeschaltet. Schrauben
Sie dann die Rückseite des Korpus wieder an. Der Batteriestatus wird im
Display angezeigt. Die Batterie sollte für mind. 9 Monate reichen.
